This company is out to RIP YOU OFF - Purchased new HVAC and Evaporated cooler units - was talked into getting annual service agreement for both $600+ they came out to winterize cooler and disconnected power. When summer heat came we called to reconnect and they came but said we needed a new contract which we declined ,then they left WITHOUT HOOKING UP Our electricity leaving us with a dead unit! This call was for them to perform a few handyman type tasks which included install of a new garbage disposal, new kitchen faucet and changing the flushing mechanisms of two toilets. Service technician, Shannon, came and comported himself in a very professional manner. He came in to assess the job, clearly understood what was needed and performed the required tasks with ease. We have a family cabin in Running Springs. Arrived on a Saturday evening and found our heater wasn't working. Called Burgeson's (who is our regular service company). Since it was after hours I left a message with call center. A few minutes later the on duty tech, Chris called and tried to step me threw some troubleshooting issues. That wasn't successful. So Chris drove up and arrived around 7pm on a Saturday night. He diagnosed a loose wire on the blower motor connection and fixed it No Charge. Amazing. I tried to pay and he declined. Everything went well!! From the first call in to Burgesons; Jessica answered with great courtesy and was more than helpful. We were transitioning from Ballard's and needed info on our filter for our A/C. How amazing can one company be? Our AC broke in 100 degree weather and my home warranty company put me in touch with other repair groups. Needless to say, after 2 visits and 8 hours of phone conversations with Sears home repair I gave up on them and called Burgeson's. In THREE HOURS they were able to solve a problem that Sears and other companies had failed to do in 6 days. Burgeson's not only blew my expectations, and their competition, out of the water on the service front, but also on the staff excellence front. Victor cheerfully answered my call and kept me up-to-date on the status of the repair. Cage arrived about an hour after the initial call with a huge smile on his face and a great attitude and work ethic. He clearly articulated what the problem was, the cost to repair, and other things to look out for in the future on my older HVAC unit. An hour later the repair was done and my AC started pumping out cold air for the first time in a week (a week in which other companies, and my home warranty failed to do anything despite dozens of calls, multiple repairmen, and pleading due to the heat risk for members of my household, both human and feline). I had a catastrophic failure in the sewer line (old galvanized pipe collapsed) and both bathrooms needed to be entirely re-plumbed. I had just finished re-modeling the entire house and everything was freshly painted and trimmed out. I got three quotes, including a plumber who wanted to tunnel 12 feet under my house. Burgeson was not only the best price, but I really could not have asked for a better crew, headed up by Joshua. It took four days, but I never saw harder workers. There is no way to make this a pretty job, but I was never without water or facilities. Except for Josh, the crew changed based on requirements (think ditch digging to replacing vanities) and they were ALL unfailingly polite, jumped at any request I made, and were very conscientious and careful about the house. I could not have asked for more. They do lots of kinds of plumbing and HVAC, and I would certainly use them. But if you have a big, awful job, these are the guys you want. read more

We have been customers of Burgeson's for 15 years. The service had been really good except for a few billing hiccups. We have purchased the service contract every year. Our last service ended our relationship though. During Covid we skipped a year of service 2020-2021. On June 13 we scheduled and received service. The tech advised that the filter kit would need to be replace at a cost of approx $300. I let the tech know we did have a contract in place for the inclusion of filters. I called the service department and they verified the filters were included since we skipped a year. I told the tech who said he needed to verify that himself. We also needed a repair done to the condenser which I agreed to for $216.00. When I was charged at the completion of the work I was expecting a $216 charge and was told no different when he took my credit card. No paper receipt was generated but emailed. To my surprise we were billed $488.00. It took 4 phone calls and 2 days to get a call back. Billing said I was given the wrong information 2 different times and we would have to pay for the filters.
