Brought my 2023 Chevy Bolt EUV in for the 1st time today for a multipoint inspection, tire rotation, rear wiper blade replacement (all listed as free services on the web site) and cabin air filter change (listed @ $110). Decided to also replace front wiper blades while I was there. Burien Chevrolet charged me a WHOPPING $141 to replace the front and rear wiper blades! Front: $63.83+$48.71, rear $27.46! They also charged $113.44 to replace the cabin air filter, not a big deal. I left feeling uneasy at the high cost. After paying, I'd asked the tech, MIke, if these GM blades came with an add'l warranty given the astronomical price and was told "No," just the standard 1 year warranty." When I got home, I went to Burien Chevrolet's web site and saw that the cost to replace front wiper blades was $69.95 (see screenshot) so I called to ask why I was charged 2X what their web site listed. Mike said I need to come in to resolve the issue with the Parts Dept as he "'doesn't control parts pricing." #1: I don't understand why I have to make another in-person trip (and deal with freeway traffic) to resolve a simple parts pricing issue when the Service and Parts Depts are right by each other. #2: There is simply NO excuse for parts pricing that is double what the company list as its prices, both on the web site and over the phone. Note: I'd called Burien Chevrolet 3 weeks ago to compare service pricing among nearby Chevy dealers then left for a trip out of the country to deal with a family health emergency. After having my vehicle for over a year, and over $13,000 in repair cost that were paid, my vehicle dies on the road right after pick-up and then begins to leak. I bring it back and now they want an additional $6000 for work that they did not originally diagnose and most of which is not related to the issue that they are suppose to address. bought a used car there, had problems 1 week later , they had it in their shop 3-4 times but never seamed to get it right. each time i would take it home the same problem would return after about a week. they stuck me with a $708 bill for a problem that was with the car when i bought it(90 day warranty).Same problem came back again after they thought they had fixed it for the 4th time, I took it to a Honda dealer and they knew what the problem was in less than 1 hour . PREDATORS!! If I could give my treatment zero stars I would. I think they met a woman alone and saw dollar signs. I scheduled service on 3/22 for a recall(free), oil change, new wiper blades, and brake pads. After their 'inspection' I received a quote for $11k in repairs for a 2012 Buick LaCrosse. I doubt that car is worth that amount. I approved 5 of the 13 suggested services - what I asked for. What I expected to take a day, took a week. I asked three separate times for the total charges and was ignored until finally I was slapped in the face with a $3240.06 total the day before I picked it up. The change oil light is still on and so is the brake service light. After all of this, I asked on 4/7, 4/8, and 4/9 to be emailed a copy of my receipt. CRICKETS! No response at all yet. read more

We'd been in contact with the internet salesperson who assured my father he 1) had the specific model of Equinox available for a test drive and in-stock to purchase and 2) that he would be there in person to help with the sale. This place should get zero negative stars. When I bought my car on the day off, everyone was sooo nice. But then a couple weeks later I went in to get my tabs and the lady out front handing them out could not be any more annoyed and rude. It does not have a front plate holder and I know they are required by law here, which by the way, they've been selling cars in this state for a while and they didn't have the common sense to add the extra tag they need to drill on the car??? Common sense ppl. They just threw it in the trunk and sent me away. Which I DID NOT EVEN KNOW IT was there until today. When I did my test drive the car salesman did not mention it. Their neglecting the safety issue that it may explode during deployment due to a manufacturing defect. They schedule me three times, one last year on my maintenance service and two times last month, ever since I got this "SAFETY RECALL" notification from this Dealership, after I waited at their waiting area for 2 hour, Service will say to me that they have no replacement parts for my vehicle. Hi I David I have a 2017 Chevrolet Impala. Sometime ago I took my car to replace my transmission for it went out on me. The mechanic that work on my car did a wonderful repair but was very sloppy for they got grease spots on the inside of my interior and it is a very light gray. After that I took my car in for a maintenance they suggested that I needed to flush the coolant. So I got that done. They released the car to me I was on my way home about 3 miles away from the shop when my car started to over heat ( mined you I never had a over heating problem). So I had to pull over and I called the shop to tell them what was going on with my car they did send someone out to see what was the problem. When they came out they said that it was an air bubble. But ever sense they did the flushed my car would reach temps of 210 degrees the lowest would be 198 degrees. For burien Chevrolet flushed the coolant the highest the temperature would get was 177 degrees. I don't no what the hell they did to my car but ever sense the did that I was having trouble with the heating system. So I make an appointment to have them go and check my car out as to why this is happening they tell me it's because of a sensor that needs to be replaced. I'm not no mechanic but in my eyes I believe that the sensor was damaged so to there negligence because of my car over heating. But that isn't the cream on top of the icing. I have cer shield and told them that. You know what they wanted me to do!!!! They wanted me to pay the payment that was going to be well over $1100 plus on top of that I was getting my front bearings replaced that was $800 So they wanted me to pay for this and wanted me to deal with the insurance. There excuse was that they do deal with them because I'm the past they have gotten burned by them. But on the door as you walk in the had a sticker that hat the car shield. So now I had to go pick up my over heating car and take it to a different dealership I had to find one. Thank God that on the first one I found Auburn Chevrolet I love this place the lady that I worked with her name is Cindy, I love her. I'm telling you all that when you talk about family oriented they treat you just like that FAMILY. Cindy is the one to go to if you go to Auburn Chevrolet. They took very good care of me and they dealt with the insurance and every thing. I bought my car in 2017 at burien Chevrolet but the experience that I got from them I regret even going into that facility to buy my car if I am to buy a new car it would be at Auburn Chevrolet where they treat you like FAMILY!! Do not take your car here! I did for a power seat issue. Dropped it off at 7:30am, had no calls or anything all day and showed up at 4:30pm to pick my car up, expecting to wait a little. Service manager had no idea what was happening and took them 15 minutes to figure it out and then let me know that it would be the next day. I didn't have a ride home so that kinda sucked. Then, they called me later that night telling me they needed three more hours of diagnosis time the next day for a total of four hours and $840+ tax to figure it out. Shut that down, and asked to pick it up the next day. They called me telling me it was ready and I went to go get it at the same time around 4:30pm. Charged me $21 in shop supplies for "dielectric grease, zip ties and tape." OK. $254 total for.... Don't bring your car here. Can I give them 0 Stars? I own a 2017 Colorado and it was having ignition switch issues in that I was not able to turn the key to the OFF position and remove the key. It would only turn the engine off to the Accessory position. I found that the problem was either the ignition cylinder itself or that there is an interlock switch connected to the transmission selector that causes this problem. This is a known problem that I Googled in less than in 10 seconds. I scheduled a service to have this repaired. Upon arriving at the dealership, they stated that a $179 Diagnostic fee would apply to tell me what the problem was, even though I told them what I found above. After all, they are the DEALERSHIP and I would assume that they are also aware of this common problem. So be it. I knew walking in the door, this was standard practice and accepted it at this point. They also initiated a text conversation to keep me informed during my time there, a thoughtful touch. I waited 90 minutes for the Service Advisor to come tell me that it was the ignition switch. Well no kidding, I told them that. However, after letting me wait 90 minutes, no actual work had yet been done. I actually thought it would have already been fixed by this time. I directed them to proceed. Another 90 minutes go by (total 3 hours now) with no word from the Service Advisor, who knew that I was waiting in the lobby. I texted him inquiring of progress. No response. Another 30 minutes later, I walked back to inquire, this time face-to-face. I was told that after replacing the ignition, they found it was actually the transmission selector switch after all and were still working on it. I lost my sh!t! I have never, in my life, gone off like this before. I told them EXACTLY what the problem was, they took 90 minutes to "diagnose" it (which should have meant confirming what I said) and did nothing during that time. After that, they went after the wrong problem and never communicated with me. Finally, after I reached out to them, I find out they were working on the other possibility without having given me an update and still leaving me waiting (and ignoring my text) even longer. In the end, they present me with a bill that still included the "Diagnostic" charge. Here, I lost my sh!t a second time. I stated that I TOLD THEM what the problem was and they didn't diagnose anything. I refused to pay it. Another Service Advisor asked me to calm down, that there were "other customers that could hear everything I was saying". To this I replied, "Good! Maybe they might want to know what kind of service they are about to receive". I eventually gathered myself, paid the bill (minus the diagnostic fee) and left. I will never return to this shop again. Total time at the dealership was over 5 hours! With regards to using text as a method of communication, if a business chooses to use this technology to communicate with their customers, then use it correctly. People expect a response (fairly quickly) and want to be kept informed of progress. It's meant to be quick and easy for all parties. In this case, the Service Advisor never responded. Had he had the guts to admit to their mistake and communicate with me, this interaction would have gone much differently. This is the second time that I've been to this dealership and they tried using text during my first visit as well. Again, they were unresponsive. If these guys can't use it correctly, then they should abandon the trial. It clearly failed, along with all other aspects of this visit. After receiving Chevy's customer survey (after my first visit), I commented on the texting issue and do you think they reached out? Nope. Maybe I missed their text. read more

Since moving from Arizona to WA, I really wanted to find a great service center to do regular oil changes and maintenance. I can't say I found that in Burien Chevrolet. Everything was going pretty well with my normal oil changes until my check engine light came on. Went to Burien Chevrolet for a diagnostic and fix. They assessed, fixed, and sent me on my way with the check engine light off. Two weeks fly by and my check engine light illuminates again. Take it back, fork over the diagnostic fee and cost to repair. Check engine light is off. Woohoo! Three weeks pass by and the check engine light is back on. Easily spent over $700 trying to fix it over a couple trips back. I decided to go back to Arizona to visit and drove my car (check engine light on and all) back. I took it back to the dealership I purchased it and they suggested a bunch of sensor fixes that Burien Chevrolet never suggested or even recommended be changed. Was very clear on the work I needed to be done and of course they found other issues. I didn't have a problem with that, however, with the parts being ordered, having to make 6 separate trips because they didn't fix it right or would call me to say it was done (arriving and finding out it wasn't), and 2-3 weeks of hassle, this has got to be the worst car repair experience I have ever gone through. WORST buying experience I have ever had at any dealer. They do not care for the safety of their customer. My front tires were cracked by age and still "passed" their used vehicle inspection. 2 weeks after purchasing the vehicleIt had a problem where it would shut off right after starting and they wanted me to pay for a diagnostic at their dealership. I left with that problem happening everyday. They supposedly were not able to duplicate the problem. Another problem was my paint as you see in the photos was like this after they gave me the vehicle but said "you bought a used vehicle so it's your job as the owner to take care of it". The vehicle was ugly and looked horrible. They also Forced me to purchase a Extended warranty. They said "we can not make the deal unless you buy the extended warranty because the bank is charging us $2,000 to approve you" They are liars and love to steal peoples money. They will do their best at giving you the worst deal. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH BURIEN CHEVROLET. They will only make you pay more. Lastly, the vehicle was full of sand on the interior. Even the MAP sensor was full of beach sand. This was days after purchase. I had to return to have it detailed several times. I don't know how this vehicle passed any inspection. read more

Beware of the thieves that work at this location! I have had my car serviced at this location many times, since it's so close to work for me. I recently got an oil change there and one of their employees went through my vehicle and took some items from my car. The service manager Randy is an idiot. Very unprofessional! Thanks for the response Randy! I never received a call back or an update on what happened that day. As far as I'm concerned, your only response was to react to my review. I don't need any compensation as I did let you know. I own a marijuana business and what was stolen could be replaced. I only wanted you to be notified about your selection of your employees. Thank you finally getting back to me a week later after I had posted a review on yelp! I will no longer get my car serviced at this location. I would be better off at jiffy lube. I took my brand new truck in because the high pressure fuel pump failed. It took them a week or more to fix it. I had to call multiple times to get a status update. They would not give me a rental car. When they finally fixed it, they never plugged the windshield wipers in. Complete incompetence and unresponsiveness. I could it be more frustrated with a dealership. When I brought my issues up with management, they were apathetic and dismissive. Terrible place. read more

I hate people who waste my time. I had contracted this dealership via chat, in regards to 1 vehicle and 1 vehicle only. And I explained that to the person in the chat that it was the only vehicle that I was interested in. They told me that they would let someone call me about the car. I asked if I should just come down, because I wanted this car. I was going to buy it. He said yes. I was on my way when they called and told me that the car was sold and asked me if I was interested in any other car. NO. Why didn't the other person tell me the car was sold?
