I came in looking for replacement glass and the guy had an attitude the moment I entered. They didn't have the right glass, which is fine, but the guy tried to make me feel stupid for even asking. I had a follow-up question and he completely ignored me and continued laughing and talking to his coworkers even though I was speaking straight to his face 3 feet away. The only acknowledgment I got after that were further attempts at belittlement, but at that point I was walking out the door, as they yelled after me in another language. To sum it up, if you can even get them to help you, they will talk down to you and try to get you out of there as quickly as possible, in the least helpful way possible. The arrogance and sense of superiority in there is overwhelming. It's the exact opposite of a friendly, welcoming environment. Do yourself a favor and go to the place that's right across the street instead. The place is called Vape-O-Rama and it's like 30 seconds away. They're super chill, knowledgeable, and will treat you with respect (they even had the glass piece I was looking for)!

Smoke shop review First and foremost, this review is primarily directed at those who feel the need to leave one star reviews at a business at which transactions should happen faster than most drug deals. Most people know what they are after when entering any type of smoke or head shop. Complaining about customer service at any of these types of establishments is like going to a brothel and complaining on the way out that you didn't 'feel loved'. They cater to those who generally know exactly what they need upon entering. If you don't know what you are looking for, here is a suggestion; try being like the millions of other Americans who are curious about a product they are interested in, and do research online BEFORE you enter. At least that way you have a general idea of what you want. Granted, it's a given that the actual owner of the store should be, at very least, courteous and somewhat knowledgeable about the products they sell, but once again, lets be real. All smoke shops are nothing more than product flippers, and out to make a dollar any way possible. As for the employees, lets once again be real and refer back to my brothel comment. They work in a shop that offers no benifits, paid minimum wage, and there is no advancement. They work here to survive, and nothing more. Try thinking about other peoples situations before flying off the handle and running back to your car in order to feel satisfied by your passive / aggressive level of revenge while sporting a sinister grin that says 'I'll show you!' As you rush to click 'one star'. These people have it hard, and most have either very litte-to-no customer service experience. Cut them a break. A little life advice for those unable to graduate from the pull-ups they cannot free themselves from, whining at every possible opportunity: treat everyone with respect, because you have no idea what they are going through in their lives at that moment. Are you always honest when asked 'how is your day going?' Neither am I, and neither are most. Food for thought. read more

I had such a great experience at this smoke shop; I had to leave my first review. I've been told by a couple of locals this was a sweet spot and when we walked in, we were immediately greeted by a younger guy by the name of Nick. He helped my fiancé and I find an awesome product at a price that fit out budget and some other accessories. He was knowledgable, friendly and laid back. Checking out, a guy by the name of H, started up a friendly conversation and really made us feel welcome. I told them of how impressed I was with our experience and you could tell how much it meant to them. Wud up everyone, i always go to the Burien Smoke Shop for all my smoking needs. I recently transitioned from cigarettes to vapor. So i bought a kanger mini subbox. It was working great for about a month then it had some charging issues. So i brought it back to the store and i had explain to one of the guys there ( his name is T) what was going on with it. A friend referred me to this shop after getting a killer deal on a really nice hookah. I ended up buying pretty much the exact same one, and couldn't be happier. I picked up the Guru Emerald (I believe it's 3FT), and the build quality is greater than that of any other I've used so far. Also, paid less then any online retailer is currently offering. All of the major locals are presented, as well as many of the startups and up and comers who offer some of the best value in the area. I know other dispensaries like to take shots at Zips, accusing them of selling under cost to cut other retailers, which seems to be unfounded. The prices on established brands are on par with other area dispensaries, including sales. It's just that Zips will also offer the aforementioned "second tier" and upstarts, at entry level prices, other dispensaries don't even carry. I'm sure the option is there if others want to cater to both upscale and downmarket, but most choose to stay high end. That said, their competitors choose to be pricier and spew fake news about Zips for stocking otherwise. Friendly staff, great selection and great prices.

Daniel, who had an encyclopedia of knowledge on cigars asked myself a few questions on my preferred flavor profile, favorite cigars, preferred size, etc. to ensure he gave an appropriate recommendation - which turned out to be of the better cigars I've had in awhile. It's always nice to have a shopkeeper who recommends the right product and not the most expensive cigar in the shop, as his recommendation was cheaper rather than what I would have chosen without his assistance. While unfortunately Washington State has an indoor smoking ban outside of tribal land - the staff with Brian and Hector, gave some great recommendations on outside areas where I could smoke including one that's not too far from the shop. Overall if looking for a boutique cigar in Seattle especially if in Downtown/Lake Union, I'd highly recommend popping into the Union Cigar Society.
