We vacationed in Myrtle Beach and After a few days we wanted to find a good burger joint. Well we came across Burkeys Grill and I must say this was hands down the BEST burger we have ever had. We ended up ordering seconds AND then even ordered a few to go. The staff is extremely friendly as well. Now we are back in Indiana and I'm craving a burger from there. We will just have to make another trip SOON. I would suggest giving them a try. I'm 33 years old and it's definitely the BEST burger I have ever had. The prices are CHEAP. read more

Found this joint just after arrival to Myrtle Beach. When traveling, we like to try new things and definitely local. The burgers were fantastic, as were the fries. They've also go a Cincinnati-style chili on the menu (up to 3-way), which wasn't bad at all. This is a great little diner with a fun, nostalgic atmosphere and outstanding food, speed, service and price. Three each (burgers, fries, drinks, a Cincinnati 3-way for under 20 bucks). Stopped with the family for hot dogs. Hot dogs were great and they have great prices. Only two complaints one the fries were a little soggy from grease and I like mine crunchy and second the bathrooms were dark and dingy. Next will try the fried Bologna. They actually throw it in the deep fryer!! Oh and you get a free scoop of ice cream with a kids meal and the kids meal is 4.20. read more

We decided to check out this restaurant after reading all of the reviews. It was a good spot for kids, a vegetarian and meat eaters. My son got the pbj. He ate about half because there was a lot of pb but my hubby ended up finishing and said it was really good. The burger and fries were really good. Burgers were the flat, thin kind. Veggie burger was good, nothing to write home about but heck, not many places have a veggie burger available. So it was good. We did order the veggie plate as an appetizer. The carrots were bad (slimy and mushy) but broccoli and cauliflower were good. Shakes were good and kids got ice cream with their meal so overall great experience and would highly recommend. read more

I heard a lot of great things about this place before I came... I even had some locals tell me about this place. I was told to try their Cincinnati style chili, which I did. I had the chili and a burger. It was good, but I don't think there was anything special about it. I would go back as the process were fair. We visited this place once on a vacation 2 years ago. No real reason why we didn't return other than my husband's infatuation with a "hole in the wall" pizza joint further up King's Highway. Not a fan of burgers usually- tend to avoid them like the plague. However, my husband and I have been on vacation here since last Tuesday and we saw Burky's Grill advertised on channel 33. My husband went out to get 2 burgers: mine with cheese,lettuce and extra mayo-his with onions and pickles only.He got combos which came with fries and drink. I really wasn't expecting anything great. I was soooo wrong! Both of our burgers were outstanding, freshly prepared and Very flavorful. Our fries were hand cut and very flavorful. I am so glad we saw the ad and went for lunch. I put mayo, lettuce onion. Not the best I have had, but for fast food and price near Dunes Resort this place was cheap and tasty. I had read the patties were thin, so my husband & I got double cheeseburgers. The reviews were right...very thin patties...was good for my child though. The burger over all was good. Not spectacular, but not bad. The fries were a little crunchy, but that was ok...I like crunchy. I felt as if the price was a little steep. We may or may not ever go back, but wouldn't rule it out.
