Selection of goods seem fine. My only concern is the cleanliness of the bathroom. I walked in at 6:15pm. Used the men's restroom and it was extremely dirty. The floor was wet with what I am assuming is urine. Toilet paper dispenser was broken with the roll laid out on the ground. Bathrooms need more regular checks and cleaning. I always find something I like when I'm browsing this Burlington. I'm just raising the point of the bathroom hoping it gets addressed. read more

The selection looked large, but it's large for a very specific style. I was just trying to find a plain dress shirt, and finding one in a larger size felt like searching for a needle in a haystack... without a magnet . If you have time to browse, you might find something really good at a great deal. But if you're short on time or looking for something very specific, may the mercies of the divine be with you. Even at 9pm on a Friday night, the line was long. I only interacted with one staff member besides the security guard. He wasn't mean -- the policy just felt silly to me. The cashier, on the other hand, greeted me with a smile, which I appreciated, especially knowing she'd been dealing with a steady flow of customers all night. Overall, my experience was fine. I went to the Burlington store located at Imperial and Crenshaw with two shapewear items I wanted to return. I had the original receipts, and the shapewear was in perfect condition--brand new with the tags still attached. However, the staff at this location refused to process the return, without providing any clear explanation or solution. To verify, I went to another Burlington store in a different city. There, they simply checked the items, confirmed they met the return policy, and refunded my money without any issues. It's unacceptable that the customer experience and the application of the company's policies depend on the location or the employee you happen to deal with. This inconsistency wastes customers' time and creates a very poor shopping experience. Burlington should better train their staff to ensure that all locations follow the same rules and provide fair, professional service. read more

I want to start to off by saying the staff was extremely friendly. On July 4th, I bought a shower curtain from this location. As I had plans for the holiday, I did not open/ unwrap the shower curtain until the next evening. When I was about to install the shower curtain, I notice what appeared to look like splashes of dried blood...ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING !!!!! What about blood born pathogens ?!?! When I went to return the item on July 6th, I was advisee by the menagerie on duty, Dani, that she could not accept the return. I explained the item was sold to me with what appears to be dried be blood stains. She replied, " I know we would not put something like this back on the floor". I asked for the store manager's contact information and she directed me to review the sales receipt. I informed Dani the information was not on the sales receipt and she she acknowledged the same. She provided me with the name of the store manager but confirmed she could not provide the store manager's contact information, rather she implied I should come back to the store and speak to the store manager in-person. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE,,,, PURE IGNORANCE.....please inspect all of your item as there is zero accountability at this location'......I should have just reported them to the Health Department but decided I have other things to focus on rather than a shower curtain. To me, it is the general principle of the fact they think they can be condescending with people at this inner city location. Biggest one I have ever seen. They open at 8am even though online will say 9am. Also, you are greeted when you walk in and told that they will allow you inside to shop in a moment for your safety. Then a few moments later the employee opens the rope and lets you in! First time I've seen this but I am not mad about it. I must say this made my shopping experience seamless. The store is very clean and had a lot of products. Just not necessarily the selection I was looking for there was a line but it's also the beginning of holiday season and they had plenty of people at the cash wrap. I found lots of stuff that I could get, but they weren't the reason I was shopping. Now that I know that it is here and it has great prices. When you buy jewelry at Burlington the alarms go off when you leave the store like you stole something. They need to put done removable devices on the jewelry that clerk can remove after purchase so door alarms don't go off. People look at you like you stole something. Humiliated!!! I was recently scheduled for a group interview at 10:45am and arrived 15 minutes before the interview. I walked in and told one of the staff that I'm here for my interview and he looked at me as if he was confused. I then showed him my confirmation email showing that I was scheduled for the interview and he decides to call someone from the back to come speak to me. Once she comes to the front of the store I then show her the same email I showed to the man before. I tell her my name and she then calls her boss and asks if she knows about an interview scheduled for 10:45. Mind you this is the boss but she's at home still sleep lol. So unprofessional. I felt like Miss Universe with the greeting I received while walking in The greeters are so cheerful and more than happy to help. There are wipes and sanitizer as you enter. I had the most horrifying shopping experience of my life at this Burlington Store at Hawthorne. On September 28, 2022 at 9:30 AM. I went to this Burlington store. As I was walking towards the store from the parking lot, I ran into a mall security person and I said to him that the sign in front of the store says that it should be open by 9am, but I was here yesterday at 9:20am with few other customers and it was still not open; so I hope they are open by now since it was already 9:30am. The security person actually replied and said that they always open late and he does not know why. I walked into the store and informed one of the floor staff that I was here yesterday at about 9:20am but the store was not open even though the sign says that they open at 9am. She did not say much but she did reply and said "oh, it was yesterday". I started to look at some men's clothing. After 5 minutes, the same floor staff came to me and said, "The store manager asked you to leave now." I asked her why but she said she does not know. I then walked out of the store. This store needs a new manager! She asked me to leave without any reason! It was extremely disrespectful and insulting! If I can give it a negative I would. I'm 3 months pregnant and needed to use the restroom. A lady who was on her way to use the bathroom went in with out any issues. Then when I asked to go they said it was out of order. They said to wait 30 min. I waited 30 min then after they said none of the bathrooms were available. This Burlington has been good to me probably 10 times. For some reason I could never find anything here I like to wear here. The store is a mess, and they have a poor Selection of women's clothes. The bags aren't up to my satisfaction either. I was told you have to go on particular days to find good stuff. I also heard the management let the employees shop before the store opens so the public gets the left overs. But again, I'm not sure that's true. The home accessories items are great!! They have the cutest things for your home and a very large selection. But the sections are really messy and everything is everywhere. The customer service is medocure and nothing to scream to your Mom about. The area is suspect, so I find myself looking over my shoulders a lot. But if I ever need anything quick and I'm in the neighborhood, I will stop here again. read more

Okay so I haven't been to this Burlington since they were called Burlington Coat Factory. I used to always come here shop because they're great prices and now it had things that I didn't know I wanted but it up getting so they had essentially everything I needed and and more. The issue was Burlington always have great prices which why I for the most part left with more then I intended to get, and this time was no different. I came for one(1) dress shirt and a tie or two, bit before I could shop I noticed they remodeled the store the dresser was that used to be Center Jesus at the both of those men and women because it was center was no no longer there. So whatever I proceeded to shop and I noticed the suits more than one I liked shirts again more then one and about 10 times I liked. Wow, I'm in trouble! So now it's time for me some stuff on well the suite jackets fit nice and the pants because Burlington sells separate jackets and pants I had to look to my size, well I found my size now it was time try them on but what was the fittong room I walked around and act lady and she was sitting to point to the other side of the store and trust when I say other side I mean OTHER SIDE as.in Waaaaayyyy on the other side of store, really over there Incsme here to shop not take a hike SMH Usually in a store they have the men's fitting room in or near the men's clothing seems logical to me while the women's is on the women's side against logic. But you know whoever had the bright idea to put it away on the other side instead of center in the back I have no words for that would make too much sense. But the manager was helpful and and store security was helpful with me picking up my ties helpdful me when it came to picking out my ties I called my sister on Google Duo however, I couldn't reach her and I'm not afraid to ask a woman for help. I would give this store a 5 star if they had more inventory. However, my shopping experience was very pleasant. Upon entering the store people are being greeted with a friendly welcome and smile by the staff assigned to the door. They were also thanking everyone as we were leaving the store, and the cashiers were equally as friendly and fast. I walked into this Burlington just because it was on my way, as I usually frequent the one in Compton. I'm sad that my go to location doesn't have the same service. This company is stealing people's money. If you don't return something within 30 days, they give you store credit and won't refund you for the total amount you originally paid. The manager was not helpful at all and was so rude and the cashier that tried to help me with this return was also rude and unhelpful. I WILL NOT BE SHOPPING AT THIS BURLINGTON NO MORE. I can't believe how filthy the ladies restroom stays. The smell is horrific. I spotted blood on the inside of a stall door recently. The soap dispensers are usually empty. It needs daily maintenance. The floors need to be disinfected with bleach or Simple Green. The employee break room in right across the hall. I wouldn't be able to enjoy my meal with the strong smell. The men's room door was left open one day and you could see a man using the urinal. I'm sure the store manager can afford some one to clean. The walls and stall doors haven't been cleaned in a very long time. So unhealthy and unsanitary. The single star rating is ONLY for the occasional bargains.
