Only 1 cashier on a Saturday? No employees on the floor? We could not find anyone to help us, the store was also messy.

Stopped by here on a very, very, very busy evening in December and it felt like entering a survival…read moregame on expert mode!! Absolute chaos, lines that didn't seem to move (maybe open more registers). Somehow I still managed to grab the holiday themed flowers that I needed and escape after a very long wait in line. Came in w hopes of finding whats left of Dodgers merch, but they were completely wiped out. Shoutout to Maria for going to the back anyway and checking. Still, made it out on time, so I'm calling it a producive shopping trip.

They have large online order pick up area in the parking lot. I had to ask for a price check as one item wouldn't come up on their price scanner, they have them arpund thr store. 5/5 Selection Back to school items were low as expected, I like the notebooks for the kids to draw on. Plenty of toys all over for kids and you kids are heart. Funko Pop area by the books was something I haven't seen before. They had tiny Pops of superheros and TV shows like Friends Central Perk cafe with Rachel Green. Clothing for kids was well stocked. Oh how nice it is to find every size in the items you want. Family bathroom right by the front. There is a Starbucks right by the entrance. I saw a lot of parents grabbing their coffee before starting their shopping. So head to Target and shop til you drop the dollars at the register. God bless

Stockwise this Walmart is fine and dandy. I have a lot of fond memories going here with my…read moregrandfather since I was in elementary school. We'd go here almost every weekend before he moved away and couldn't drive anymore. Moving on, this is a solid Walmart Supercenter. There's a deli and hot foods section, a bakery section, there's a section for camping and fishing, an automotive section, outdoors gardening section, pharmacy, and photos for passports and developing photos. It can get super busy here, especially since they have their own gas station now and the fact that it's near a super busy intersection and near freeway exits. I usually try to park at the periphery since there's o many people. Don't get me started on the past Black Friday's that I've shopped here (only to get a touch lamp). It can get super disorganized in here, again, with a lot of people and items being picked up and placed any which way. Many Walmarts don't have the item price scanner anymore (not sure if this one does, but I couldn't easily find any and this may be a ploy to get workers to interact with people, eugh). I'm also not a fan of self check out not having Apple Pay tap to pay and instead a QR code to scan, opens your Walmart account and checks out. Might have just been my lane only, but fairly annoying. Not a fan of these upgrades and prefer how things were, but I guess that goes with the changing of times. Deals and sales can go hard here if you dig around and if you want cheap snacks, home goods, seasonal items, etc. the Walmart brand is a good go to.

I stop by this location frequently in the mornings while on my way home to check for trading card restocks. Unfortunately, I've had several interactions with this employee where he either came across as rude or did not respond when asked simple questions. It's been noticeably different compared to other staff in the same department. I've interacted with at least three others who have been much more friendly. Since trading cards are kept in this area and would likely generate more frequent customer inquiries, basic customer service goes a long way. I understand retail can be busy and stressful, but a brief, polite response would make a big difference in the customer experience. There's always other departments to work in with a lower volume of customers if interactions with people is not wanted.

Hello everyone. If…read moreyou're ever in the city of Baldwin Park and like shopping at Walmart, may I suggest you go see Angel in the produce section he helped this senior citizen out tremendously even though he was busy working. Angel was very kind to go get plastic bags so I could I put my fruits and veggies from the back and brought some for me and everybody else that was shopping for groceries. Also there was this nice young lady I can't remember her name but she was very helpful and showed me where I might find Italian dressing. Walmart you need more ppl like her and Angel working for you!

Joann is such a rude employee!! Never have I met a person working in customer service with such a…read morehorrible attitude as hers. I have no idea how this woman is allowed to work in the front!!!!! We were here at about 3pm checking out and while she was helping a customer in front of us, he asked her for a bag and she replied "Well ten cents" so he started looking for change in his wallet. He took out a quarter and with a voice filled with attitude told the man who very clearly had trouble speaking English "How many do you want? I said ten cents" and he replied "Yes one bag" and so she proceeded to put his quarter back on the shelf and take a dime away from him. I get it, maybe it's easier to just get the dime instead of giving him change for a quarter but maybe he just didn't understand. No need to be rude! THEN - when we had room to put our stuff on the conveyor belt, I was waiting for a bar to separate our items and she literally THROWS the bar towards us on top of the conveyor belt instead of using the designated space to slide it down on. My mom and I just stared at each other in disbelief, had that just happened?? Whatever, we proceeded to put our items down and once it came time for her to scan our TV in our cart, she stood there with a scanner in hand and didn't say a word but expected us to somehow magically know we have to push our shopping cart around to her. Has this woman ever heard of speaking to customers to let them know what we need to do? Usually when we have big items in our carts the employee comes around and scans it but I guess that's too much work for her. Then, I was handing her my ID card for her to verify my age since I was purchasing alcohol and she completely ignored it so I put it away since she had already scanned the alcohol anyways. Someone tell me why this lady then pauses the whole transaction to stand there just staring at me. I'm confused now and don't say a word either since that's the attitude I'm receiving she can get it right back!! With an obvious anger in her tone, she says "ID???" so I give it to her AGAIN. What a horrible way to treat your customers. Why work in customer service if you can't provide a simple smile and a nice attitude?
