Their beers range from eclectic and adventurous to dependable classic standards. The bartenders are knowledgeable and friendly, and the crowd is casual with an upbeat vibe. Whenever I have enough friends with me, I insist on coming here so we can take advantage of their round table. I suggest you do the same. read more

Nice accidental find on our way from Brevard to Asheville. Stopped by for a beer flight after a hike in the Pisgah forest and we were not disappointed! Every beer we tried was great. They had a food truck out back with a great roast beef and tizhiki sandwich, and homemade chips. We sat outside, but inside atmosphere was extremely clean and very cool. Large King Arthur like table and chairs the middle was a nice surprise. read more

Love it! It was random stop, and I'm so glad we did. The beer was great and staff very sweet. The building is beautiful. They were cleaning the entire time. We felt really safe and comfortable. Another great brewery in Mills River! There's plenty of space inside, and there's a large outdoor area that's covered and there is also an open area perfect for the kids to play at. Parking is somewhat limited here. The parking lot isnt big enough to accommodate a packed house, on the opening day there were cars parked on the side of the road and at the entrance which made it difficult to safely exit the venue. The beer was great, and the atmosphere was even better. read more

I can't say enough great things about this establishment. Beyond friendly service, clean relaxing atmosphere, and the beer is fantastic! Great selection of beer and they let you sample to find what you like. Outside seating area was perfect and is very family friendly. They rotate food trucks daily and the day we visited was the Reel Molloys. Shout out for the best fish and chips we have had in a long time!!! You don't want to miss visiting this great new brewery! First time visiting and atmosphere was nice, great outdoor space with plenty of seating. Beers were tasty and service was welcoming. Only down side was the Milk & Honey food truck. A very disappointing food truck experience. If had been a restaurant, we would have sent all of it back. Chicken tacos were bland and dry, wings were tiny and overcooked, chili was flavorless. Spent $80 and we all left hungry and having to eat elsewhere. We will come back for the Brewery but will not waste good money at Milk & Honey again. read more

Finally made it to Burning Blush. It far exceeded my expectations. We got a tour of the facility and it is so impressive. And every beer we sampled was so good. My favorite by far was the Vienna lager and I'm usually an IPA drinker. It was so complex and delicious. Found this gem while on our way to see the falls at Pisgah National Forest. Made a mental note to stop on our way back and I'm so glad we did! Firstly, the place is huge! And so clean! I love the decor and the huge vintage looking bar where I read was an antique from 1930s Chicago. After reading great reviews about their lagers, we gave it a go and they lived up to their reputation. My favorite was Too Unoriginal, an Altbier. Euro Bender, a Vienna lager, was also a great one! Outstanding! We stopped in to try some local brews and really enjoyed the experience. Our "bartender" did a great job explaining the different choices that were available. It was a pleasant day, but cooled off as the sun set. They had outdoor heaters and we were quite comfortable sitting outside. Plenty of outside room to socially distance and still feel safe. The staff cleaned and sanitized tables between guests. There was a food truck parked outside to enjoy dinner with the beer. Highly recommended!!! read more

Very Dog Friendly and super friendly staff! We had a 4 month old puppy and it was great to give him this new experience. The Beer on the other hand was outstanding. My only "complaint" is that we can't get this beer in our home state! We will probably have to make another 6 hour trip The food truck on site was delicious also. I liked the fact that they had a spacious tap room with plenty of seating and plenty of tables outdoors either under a covered "porch" area or picnic tables with umbrellas. So excited for a close spot with some excellent lagers, I'm pretty particular when it comes to styles and authenticity having worked in the pure business for a lot of years. They were serving up a Munich helles, a Maerzen, a maibock, a doppelbock, and a Vienna lager. I've been three times and the outdoor space is plentiful which is great during covid times. I talked with the Brewer last time and he let me know that they do have cornhole which they haven't put out temporarily just because of the virus. Oh how happy I am to have a perfect spot not far from my house to go after a beautiful hike somewhere in the Davidson River area. Great beers guys, Oh and they do other styles too, IPas, a 10% bierdeguarde. I've just been maxed out on the American IPA thing for a while. read more

Look, there are a ton of breweries in WNC, some good some not so good. Whit (the brew master) creates what are IMHO the best beers around. They are amazing. Every time I go in there I discover a new favorite. It's also the only brewery around (that I can think of) that serves each beer in its appropriate glass, which is very cool, I don't know why a weizen tastes better from a weizen glass, but it does. Burning Blush is family owned and operated, and the staff are all very friendly and helpful. Support local, support family owned, go check them out you won't be disappointed. read more

Stopped by on 6/6 after landing at AVL and we were so glad we did! Huge variety of in house beers as well as guest taps available. Gorgeous tasting room and the immaculate, beautifully designed brew house was so impressive! Friendly and helpful bartenders, even chatted with the brewers Dad (who appeared to be a manager) which made the visit extra special. Keep up the great work!! read more

Great place, good beer, and a nice environment to hang out in the Mills River area. They seem to have a great variety of food trucks showing up now which is fantastic. The BIG issue though is the noise. They really need to do something for sound deadening in this place. Its a metal ceiling and bare walls, when it's busy it becomes impossible to have a conversation. We only wanted to go back on a night that wasn't busy so we could actually enjoy it, returned during a weeknight close to closing time and there were maybe 10 people inside, it was still nearly impossible to hold a conversation. Because of the noise level as it gets busier everyone just keeps talking louder. Eventually it's just a roar inside. If the owners can do something to address the noise issue this place will do awesome. I'm sure in the summer when they can open the doors it will help but it really is crazy loud when closed up. read more
