We pulled off I5 in Red Bluff to this highly recommended place. We had 3 chicken burritos. They were practically inedible. So much salt in them. The chicken had been soaking in liquid so long it was tasteless ooze. We're not picky eaters but the burritos were pretty bad. We chucked them in the trash after a couple of bites. The portions were enormous. Isn't that how it goes, when the food sucks, you get a lot of it. The place was very clean and the service was excellent. The burritos ran us $9 a pop for a total close to 30 bucks after tax. read more

We stopped here after a road trip from Los Angeles to Seattle and back...actually stopping for the Starbucks next door but we were so glad we found this gem! Seriously this place has fresh ingredients, avocado added, with big portions! Clean restaurant with nice salsa bar. They should bring one or open more down in Los Angeles area and they would be huge! Up in Red Bluff working, and decided to try this place out.. It is like chipotle on steroids. Way more options, and avocado comes standard. And the burritos are twice the size! Friendly staff, and a million hot sauces to choose from to add to the flavor of already good food. Add to that the custom paintings that span the walls and it's a pretty sweet place. This is my second review ever on here, and I use Yelp almost daily. So, props to this little joint! read more

I've been to other Burrito Bandito Restaurants and absolutely love it! The quality of the food is okay in Red Bluff's, but it lacks everything I expect since my past visits with their other restaurants. Some of the employees are flirting in the back while us customers are waiting in line for our order to be taken. They always get the order wrong, and I feel as if I'm not well known to them, they treat you like, "Oh, what are you doing here?" I've given it a try again and again. The Red Bluff Burrito Bandito use to be great, but my past 4-6 visits have been awful! Myself and others, we have written some reviews on this matter, but nothing seems to ever get done. It is a Chipotle like setup where you choose what you want on your burrito with limited meat choices (shredded beef, chile verde, chicken, or carne asada). Their burrito portions are huge. That's all I can say that's good about this place. I had "Juan's favorite" (chicken burrito) and it was subpar. Juan definitely isn't Mexican because this burrito was incredibly bland. I had to use their homemade salsa with every bite to finish it off. My best description of the burritos here are "white people burritos." If I had the choice between this place and Chipotle, I wouldn't know which too choose because they are both flavorless. read more

Food was as expected, fresh and tasty. Service was better then expected with friendly faces and a warm greeting as we walked in the door. What I found to be PHENOMINAL was that my wife had left her purse in the restaurant. We were out for a drive so didn't notice it was gone until way after closing time. I figured the purse was gone for good or at the very least the money and pain meds would be gone (few hundred dollars worth of stuff) Was super happy the next morning when they gave me the purse back with everything intact. Holy moly, I am stunned... I just had what was by far the very BEST burrito of my entire life! I didn't have very high expectations walking in, so imagine my surprise when I sat down and took my first bite...I'm pretty sure my eyes rolled up in my head and my toes curled (okay, I'm a little embarrassed to admit it, but I might have even moaned a little). Not only was the burrito delicious, but it was so fully stuffed it weighed a TON! Fair in a pinch, but not a destination point. I had a veggie burrito. Take a basic taco truck burrito and put it inside a restaurant modeled after a sub shop: that's the feel of BB. Rice n beans and stuff are fresh, yes, but the overall flavor just doesn't deliver. The homemade hot salsa leaves much to be desired in terms of flavor. Best Mexican food in town. Don't be put off by the casual atmosphere, it's really great, fresh food. Their menu is simple because they do what they do so well. They always have good quality meat and fresh veggies to put on their burritos. The employees are always cheerful too. Burritos are huge and affordable. I like their tortilla soup which is not a menu item but they sometimes advertise it on certain days. My one and only complaint is that I wish their tortillas were cooked in a different oil, less strongly flavored oil. Otherwise this place is perfect and wouldn't change a thing. read more

I have loved the Burrito Bandito restaurants in Redding and Anderson and was very happy when they opened one here in Red Bluff. Lately however, it seems like a lot of the young people that they have working there just don't care as much about making good food and providing good service. The taste of the food is hit and miss, sometimes it lacks flavor, some times it seems like they put a pound of salt in the meat. I used to really enjoy going in and seeing the employees, they were always so nice. Now some of their young employees (newer employees I think) seem like they hate being there, aren't very friendly, and I have heard them talking bad about customers for no reason other than the employees are just punk kids (boys) that don't know what good customer service is. read more
