The have big yummy burritos. The machaca they have is really barbacoa not machaca. Machaca has peppers and onions. It was okay the meat lacked a little flavor. Their black beans and rice were good. The one thing I really don't like it that they have cabbage and no lettuce. I like lettuce in my burrito even if it does wilt a little. The cabbage it just a weird flavor it don't care for at all. You can also pice your toppings which is good but they don't have corn. I love corn in my mexican food. My boyfriend had a grilled chicken burrito. Their chicken is really good. We stopped off here on our way from volunteering for the fires in Redding and we were glad we did. They are what they really say, "real food. real fast". Very average food-- and fine for a convenient stop off I-5. If you want a clean, friendly place to eat mediocre burritos (and use a very clean bathroom), then this is the place for you. Think of a local Chipotle as opposed to authentic Mexican where there is a depth and uniqueness to the flavor and ingredients. Staff was truly friendly -- so kudos to them. 2 stars for the food but the staff and the cleanliness earned them an extra star. And, why don't they offer breakfast burritos? They are open and don't plan on closing during this pandemic and I really appreciate that! 1st time going there was today. I've known people who have gone and loved it. When my son's dad brought home a bag of tortilla chips the other day I thought they were homemade from somebody from his work because they were so good and so fresh, and he said he got them from this place. So, I went today for myself. Got a burrito and it was one of the biggest burritos I've ever had in my life and I've eaten it pretty much every Taqueria in San Francisco and probably at least 200 more in my lifetime, so it's saying a hell of a lot but this is the biggest burrito I have ever had. It was so big I didn't think I could continue eating it while driving and I can always drive and eat a fricken burrito! Definitely too big, but you're getting your money's worth. Had to wait many hours till I could eat some chips lol. The space was nice and open and totally dead because of the pandemic going on. They made my vegetarian burrito in about 60 seconds. On a return leg from Seattle, Red Bluff was my last stop before home. Checked in a a nearby Holiday Inn Express, and hit the web for foodie suggestions. Two blocks away was Burrito Bandito; so I could get an order to go with extra chips 'n salsa and retire to my room. Burrito was large, tasted excellent, plentiful chips and salsa. Perusing the numerous hot suaces on hand gave me a chance to spend a minute with staff, all adding to the fun. Anyone that's got Melinda's or Marie Sharp's in the house is doing okay by me! Trying to fabricate a reason to travel back with my wife, just so she can enjoy her own! Very pleased. read more

Having been to a different location, when pulling into Red Bluff, I was excited to find another Burrito Bandito location. But once inside we were less excited... The staff were less than excited to help us (in fact they played rock, paper, scissors to see who had to wait on us). The food was still great though. read more

I walked in to the horror-movie funhouse vibe of large murals and too many primary colors in one place, and was immediately prepared to be disappointed. I observed that the employees were uniformly young and white like me, and was further prepared to be disappointed. I checked out the ingredients and my feelings were not substantially altered. I gave final approval of the construction of my burrito, noted that there were no free chips forthcoming, and was suspicious of the establishment's business practices. I ate the burrito, and knew that I had been foolish, for it was good. Quite good. And lo, I did partake of the house hot salsa, and it was of a very pleasing flavor. The burrito presented itself with a nearly imposing heft, but nay, I did not waver from my challenge, though many may have ceased to partake of such a food dirigible at the 1/2 or 2/3 waypoints, NAY I DID NOT! And want for chips we did not, as our hunger was sated by that which was delivered. --- Seriously, though, if you're headed up (or down) I-5 to/from a human powered adventure, this is probably your spot. read more

I love stopping by here when I come visit my family. The atmosphere is wonderful. The art work on the walls are amazing. Plus you can purchase the cool knik knacks hanging on the walls. They play mariachi music and have friendly service too. There is also some shelves with some super HOT blow your brains up hot sauce! The food is good as well. Driving south on I-5 from Oregon. We were hungry for some Mexican food that we could take to go. It's right off the freeway and parking is easy. There's a Starbucks in the same strip mall if you need caffeine. The restaurant is set up that you order at the counter and watch them make up your order. Service is fast and polite. I had the huge shredded beef burrito with everything but jalapeño. It was good and satisfying. My husband had the steak quesadilla with everything. He can eat the hottest of hot and said this is too Hot! I'm not sure if they just put too many jalapeño in his or what. My recommendation is get the jalapeño on the side or not at all.
