I am new to Northern California and I've been seeing these Mexican restaurants around town. I've seen at least four or five of them. Not sure if there are more. But today, I just decided to stop in one and grab lunch. What a pleasant surprise! While I was ordering my custom burrito, (which is huge by the way!), I have the most pleasant Aunt conversation with high school students working behind the counter. Not only were they attentive to my needs as a customer, they were extremely polite, well-mannered, and mature, which made my ordering 1000 times better. I definitely recommend this place to anyone who are either lives here or is it just visiting. I ordered the Machaca (shredded beef) with basically everything: cabbage, pico de gallo, sour cream, hot sauce, black beans, etc. Well, worth the $13.95 for the burrito. I am a frequent flyer. Great friendly staff. One of the very few places where you feel like you 'get what you pay for' Another rarity is having your order prepared exactly how you want it. Both those things are huge problems almost everywhere else you go, Lastly i I like my stuff REALLY hot, this scratches the itch. Ok, this is coming from a hard critic of Mexican food. I knew from the reviews and region, this may not be your Abuelita's type of burrito! Not coming from Sonora or Oaxaca, but it does the job when you're starving! Outdoor industrial area so don't be misled. Once you open the doors it's go time. Very bright colored. Tons of hot sauces on the wall. I'm praying someone goes through them routinely to throw out any expired ones. It reminded me of a Chipotle, verses Cava verses Subway. So you walk up and order and you tell your Burrito Maker what you like and don't like on your order. They make it right there in front of you. I had the pleasure of a nice young red headed gentleman. He was kind, polite and funny! Made a great burrito and that red hot sauce he squirted it was delicious! Naomi was so sweet, kind and beautiful at the register. Got some delicious green sauce to go! Place liked clean. The side dining room was closed off for the night? I guess there is a patio? I'm not sure if I'd have all kinds of business cards at the front right as you walk in. It's kind of overwhelming with everything else your eyes are looking at. I think the roses out front are beautiful. Maybe some sand and cool lights around the sign near the road would fiesta it up! Also a traditional Spanish fountain out front would be a great addition. The burrito tasted delicious and was huge. Ate half for dinner and half for breakfast. Not sure if I'd return. Maybe to try a quesadilla and a cold beer inside with chips and salsa? I don't know. But it did the trick and I enjoyed it. read more

We ordered at the store because we had a complicated to go order. The employees did NOT like this at all! Very rude. Every time my daughter calls it in, the order gets screwed up and wrong. Using the app isn't good if you want to order something a bit changed. Food was just ok. I've had much better Mexican food. read more

Our family love tacos, burritos and went to burrito Bandito all the time. However, this location doesn't honor their tacos Tuesday buy one get one free policy. They reduced that into just cover one taco price and not use on per order. So if you want to have a taco Tuesday, don't come to this shop. Go to the placer one instead, their service is better. Their awkward attitude without smile when they see you wear bandito shirts is not called customer service. read more

Whats up with the light burritos all of the sudden? I don't know if maybe it was just the guy making them or if it's a new policy but we always went to burrito bandito because the burritos were substantial and almost over full but we got some weak little burritos this time that were kind of pathetic. I noticed the guy putting on the meat was being careful not to put too much on whereas in the past they loaded them up. Same with the beans and rice, cheese, etc. Not sure if we will go back, there are lots of places in Redding to get nicely filled burritos. I'd be happy to pay more for the old style of well filled burritos. read more

Saturday, Dec16,2023. Airport Road (Redding, CA) location- we always visit this location. The menu is limited to mostly burritos, tacos, quesadillas, and a few other items. Some items I believe are better consumed immediately, like tacos and quesadillas, which can get a little soggy if you're driving a distance before eating them; depending on what ingredients you have them include of course. Although the food used to be a really great deal, rising costs everywhere have increased the prices but I believe this place is still comparable to other fast/casual places (like the "smoked jalapeño" chain restaurant). Everything always tastes fresh and the portions are fine. We didn't eat there but the location is a nice casual place which is fine for a quick stop. And besides eating indoors, they have a very small area outside to eat too, weather allowing. They have an assortment of hot sauces but most are a bit too pricey (my opinion) but still cool to see the different brands/labels. Large burritos- My wife and I each had a burrito- I had carne asada and she had pollo, both with mixed ingredients. I usually eat half the burrito for dinner and save the other half for lunch the next day but if you're really hungry, an average person could finish it off. The staff is what really makes the place great. I don't recall any visit where we weren't greeted with friendliness and enthusiasm. This visit, we were greeted and our order bagged up, by a shorter young lady. Her name escapes me but she was extremely warm and friendly; just seems like a genuinely happy person. If you're in the mood for fast/casual Mexican fare, pass on the big chains and give Burrito Bandito a try. read more

One of the best burritos I've ever had! I currently live in San Diego where the burritos are undoubtedly the best burritos you'll ever eat. So for a Redding taco shop to get a 5 Stars... IT MUST BE GOOD! It's essentially the same concept as Chipotle, but it's Mexican ingredients. You order your food and they prepare it in front of you, ensemble like style. The texas gunslinger sauce is still my favorite hot sauce. No other taco shop has ever carried this. the meat is very consistent and always taste good. I typically order a burrito with half chicken and half steak. Their 3 home made salsas are amazing. I recommend mixing both the reds and putting it on your burrito. -------- -------- -------- -------- -------- A few negatives (which i won't let effect the 5 star review) - they need to be open earlier and more often for breakfast. - their prices continue to rise - the management is poor. in the past, they haven't treated employees very well. not sure if the part owners/brothers still work their, but they were involved in the mistreatment Even though i no longer live in Redding, when i come back to visit i always make it a priority to get a burrito before i leave! read more

Had music way to loud first walking in, i got a taco with shredded beaf and they put so much meat in the taco for no reason at all then proceeds to ask me for something else on my taco didnt hear them correctly because the music was blaring, so they ended putting a full scoop of tomatoes and onion on my taco then again put a smothering amount of sour cream on it and now my taco isnt even a taco anymore, the service was not up to part at all has young people working theyre not knowing what they are doing i would not recommend service was not good read more

Two stars because this place is very clean and the atmosphere was nice. Awesome people very friendly but the fact that it was a Mexican restaurant with that one absolute Mexican in the building, around the building, working there, standing in line to order food was a little weird to me. I try not to be negative. But this is the second time that I did an online order and when I showed up to pick up the order they haven't even started to make the order. I'm not sure why, Other than they're not checking for online orders as they come in. Five people working there, only three of them were wearing their mask. Been going to BB for 20 years. I've found that when the meat is taken off the grill it's is 100% better. Many times I will go in and wait 20 mins until fresh meat is made and get it before it is thrown in the tub of water or broth which dilutes the flavor. I even took the time to call the owner to suggest not throwing the meat in water to preserve the flavor because I thought he might appreciate the input from the public. On the contrary, hr informed me that they knew what they were doing and he didn't need any tips. what a bummer. I know BB is busy enough that they don't need to worry about not selling meat and preserving it in broth and diluting the delicious flavor... oh well, I guess when you get successful enough you don't need to make anymore money or get better... Family favorite. Great food. Always friendly employees. I've always loved the tacos so those are my usual go-to. 2 is plenty for me as they pack them full. Either that or the bowl. I love that they use shredded cabbage instead of lettuce (extra crunch!) and avocado always included! Burritos are enormous and you'll die if you eat it in one sitting. Eat half now, half later. Last I checked, the airport road location is the only one that does breakfast burritos. Try those out, it'll change your life. I do wish they would chop their chicken up smaller. I know it was then bc I had nothing else to eat that day afterwards when it hit me right at dinnertime. My teenager likes it, so that keeps us from having to fight over The Olive Garden (yuck). It's also quick; the line moves quickly. The food is adequate & plentiful (too much, really), and the taste is dependable and adequate. It's self-seating with two large rooms, and there is an outdoor patio which is nice on mild days. Price is moderate, you can see what's there, and tell 'em what you want in your burrito. The choices are fresh and, like I said, it beats The Olive Garden or the Red Lobster or one of those other nasty places all to heck and back. It's not the best Mexican food in town, but it's easy and quick and dependable. Update 3-1-09: I hear there's a new one uptown, but that it's teeny-weeny. The one out of town has two big rooms and a patio that's quite nice in the winter..... (hey, this is Redding....see the photo, tho). I wish they had some pepperocinis available, 'cause I like a little bit more bite in the standard fare, but I'm not a jalapeno person. read more

-100 stars I told the guy my wife is Allergic to milk no cheese or sour cream. He was nice but could not see the pico was very Contaminated with cheese. Not wanting to go to the emergency room I said something and was told they could not do anything about it.
