Love the interior of this place. It has a nice vibrant and complement colors all around. Parking is quiet easy, the plaza isn't busy for a Saturday morning. The fries is so good and crispy! The burrito with pastrami got a good combination worth other ingredients like soft scrambled egg and fries potatoes but they are a bit mushy. The service is fast too and had a good conversation with one of the staff who took my order. I think his name is Pj. I'd come back to try their other stuff!
Not sure why I haven't reviewed this place before -- have been here several times over the last few years. Ordered the sausage, egg and cheese sandwich and smoked bacon burrito -- both were very tasty. They are located in a strip mall with several other eateries -- parking. An be a challenge during peak hours. There is lots of both indoor and outdoor seating.
Egg Bread does exactly what it sounds like ~ egg-based burritos and sandwiches that are yummy, filling, and just what you'd expect. The food is satisfying in the best way, and the space itself is fun and clean... the kind of spot that feels good to eat in, not just grab and go. A note for anyone gluten-free: there is a GF option, but it's essentially just a salad swap instead of the bread. It's a nice gesture, but this is definitely not a celiac-friendly kitchen, so if you have a serious sensitivity, proceed with caution (or skip it altogether). Prices are a little on the steeper side for what you're getting, but the experience makes it worth the try. Just don't go out of your way to get here, but if you're in the area, absolutely stop in.

Since it was already in the afternoon and still hadn't had lunch yet, I opted to try their sandwich options. I picked the Truffle Crunch Burger, and while it was pretty good, I didn't really taste the truffle spread and the smoked jalapeño ketchup was very mild. If those flavors were amped up a bit more, this would be super tasty! Their PCH sandwich was pretty flavorful and all the textures worked well together! Next time, I'll probably stick with my breakfast burrito cravings as those have generally been my go-to. Service was friendly but had a bit of wait since there were other late lunch diners too. The space was cute with the fun egg-themed murals and silly puns!
Craving for breakfast? Look no further! Parking is limited during peak hours and it's open daily at 7am - 2pm (except Friday and Saturday till 4pm). Inside has limited dining seating but has tables outside due to multiple eateries within the area. Sodas are can. But have a water station. Got the pastrami burrito since cashier say it's hefty. It's made to order so expect to wait. After waiting, the burrito is toasted and grilled to perfection. It's breakfast so you can't go wrong with it. But if you in a rush or coming for your lunch break, expect to wait Overall, recommend on giving this a world. Expect to wait if there's a line
Service was super friendly. I ordered the fried chicken sandwich, it was a bit over fried (or maybe they need to change the oil), but the flavors were great and the chicken was tender. The Cajun gravy was delicious but the sandwich was just just as delicious stand alone. Plenty of seating, parking can get rough during the busier times. This is definitely not your fast food type situations, so order ahead of you're on the go.

Food I ordered the Pastrami Burrito. 4.5* It had: tortilla, beer battered potatoes, cheddar jack cheese, soft scrambled eggs, smoked paprika spread, and grilled pastrami. It was very tasty, of a good size and the pastrami was a nice kick. It added a little crispiness and salinity. It helped the other ingredients shine, in my opinion. I also ordered the BACON EGG & CHEESE. 3.5* It had: Applewood smoked bacon, fresh-cracked over medium egg, sharp cheddar, smoked jalapeño ketchup, toasted milk bun. The egg was perfectly cooked, but the jalapeño ketchup was very sweet. While ketchup is normally sweet, this was overly sweet. It overpowered all the other flavors. I would not get again. They gave me a house made lemonade. It was good, refreshing, light and balanced. Service Fast, very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Ambiance Cool esthetic going on here. They were jamming the tunes of a mix of genres. Cool wall art about eggs. Egg shaped lights in the dining room. Lots of yolk color. Very cool and fun. I bet it would be fun to work here.
I decided to try their burrito and I got a lemonade. The people are helpful and kind. I was indecisive on what to get but a breakfast burrito was the way to go. I couldn't finish it because I got full but it had parts of hashbrowns inside their burrito and that was so good. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. The place had seating inside and outside.
First time at this place and I'm happy to say I found a new spot to go to! I ordered the bacon, egg, cheese sandwich as well as the pastrami breakfast burrito and both of them were very tasty! They make things fresh, so do expect a little bit of time to get your meal. The sandwich was great albeit, I probably would have put a little less of the bbq sauce on it. Otherwise, it tasted great! The burrito was a surprise. Never tried pastrami for a breakfast burrito but it worked! The eggs were very fluffy. The potatoes tasted great. And the meat was great. All in all, a solid place to get your breakfast fix! The people are nice and the inside has a decent amount of seating.

I tried Eggbred on a Saturday morning. I was able to call in my order so it was ready for pickup when I arrived. I love convenience so this was a plus. I got the PCH sandwich which was very flavorful, you could really taste the pineapple which made the sandwich delicious in my opinion.

I had been wanting to come here for months after reading all of the great reviews; so here's mine after my first visit. Limited parking in the front on an incline, plenty of seating both outside and inside. Nice bright eggy colors that convey the breakfast-brunch team. My server Chloe was very friendly and helpful in helping me to digest the overwhelming menu options. I was going to get the Ribeye Breakfast Burrito but decided that was too much food for breakfast especially since I still had a leftover prime rib from dinner! I picked the sausage breakfast burrito instead, thinking that it was a quicker option; however it did take almost 30m from order to pickup for my food to be ready. I'll have to note for future order to just order online ahead of time to skip the wait. Luckily I live close by and food was still warm when I got home. Burrito was good, well portioned with ingredients and except for burnt scoring edge, tasty! I'll have come back to have the ribeye sandwich or breakfast burrito.

The whole place is a vibe all on its own! I'm a huge breakfast burrito connoisseur, so I had to try a couple and they did not disappoint! The fried chicken burrito sounded like it might be heavy, but it was absolutely delicious and surprisingly not heavy at all. The ribeye burrito was amazing too! And the orange juice is freshly squeezed, which is always a huge plus. Michael was incredible, so friendly and professional. We had a little mix up during our visit, and he handled it so respectfully and graciously that we were genuinely impressed. We will absolutely be coming back. Bottom Line Up Front: Eggbred is breakfast food for Gen Z -- and that's not a dig by any means. Let me eggplain... The Background: Eggbred is a fast-food establishment with fast-casual aspirations. You pay at the counter but the meals are handcrafted, so there's a wait similar to a sit-down restaurant. Plus, the prices are higher than a Mickey D's -- $9.79 to $13.99 for sandwiches and $9.99 to $17.99 for burritos, for example. The Food: I ordered the Ribeye California Burrito and it was delicious. The beef was tender and moist, the avocado was fresh, and the cilantro crema was tasty. The lemonade was very meh, unfortunately. The Setting: Located in a smallish strip mall on Harbor Boulevard, it has limited free parking in the front. Not a problem on a weekday mid morning, but I imagine it would be quite difficult to find parking at peak times. Inside, it had a cool, modern aesthetic, but it was small, not ideal for mid to large-size groups. Customer Service: My cashier was friendly and quite knowledgeable, providing an eggcellent recommendation (the Ribeye California Burrito). However, the cook staff took awhile making the food (it took about 20 minutes for my order to come out). The Pros and Cons: So, is the food worth the hype and premium prices? Yes and no. It's essentially a fast-food restaurant charging sit-down prices with longish wait times. Your satisfaction level will depend largely on your expectations: if you're thinking it's fast food, you'll be pleasantly surprised by the care they put into the food and freshness of the ingredients. You'll be disappointed if you're expecting a more premium experience to match the premium prices. The Conclusion: I would need to return to try the other dishes on the menu to give a definitive answer, but based on my first experience I didn't feel like I got enough value for the price I paid and the wait I endured. I've always been able to find parking here, but on Saturday it was not happening. I parked on the street, but noticed when I exited the store to go get coffee next door, there was a parking lot in the back! If you're going north on Harbor, turn right on Las Riendas Dr, then turn right on Ladera Terrace and you can access the back parking lot of the shopping plaza. There's more space and spots to park in the back. Ordered via their website because I was craving an egg sandwich in the afternoon. I went with the sausage, egg and cheese sandwich and it was good, but the sauce that they use is overpowering. My order was at the counter and the cashier was nice and handed it to me. There's indoor and outdoor seating and I went next door to get coffee at Bodhi Leaf and ate my sandwich outside of the shop, where the wooden bench/sofa is at. I loved the egg consistency and it was cooked just right with a little runny yolk, but not too runny. The bun or bread used was nice, fluffy and milky and the sausage tasted like your standard breakfast sandwich. The only thing was the sauce was too overpowering and took away from the flavor of the egg and sausage. That's the only thing I would change, other than that solid sandwich. read more

I finally got to try this place after years of driving by. My husband and I split a scramble me softly, and a sausage egg and cheese sandwich. Both were amazing, but I found the sausage itself to be a little dry. Next time, id get bacon or ham. We also shared an order of beer battered potatoes. Those were a great treat, and I loved the seasoning. We shared an orange san pellegrino and it was tasty. The ambiance is fast paced and the service was great. read more

The food here is great!! Now service has gone downhill, their battered fries are always served cold now, they leave them sitting out there not even under a heat lamp, they seem to work slow, I'm not sure why. I used to love this place but past couple times it's been a disappointment. The restaurant itself is nice and appears clean but I do think service is big and the decline shows. read more

The breakfast poutine is our go-to every time. it's the kind of breakfast that makes you cancel your afternoon plans because you're full and happy. Zero regrets. This time i switched it up and tried the ribeye steak breakfast burrito. Listen. The eggs were that soft, fluffy, scramble -- just chef's kiss. The ribeye was tender and flavorful, and the whole thing felt hearty without being sloppy. I added some of the side poutine gravy into the burrito. Yes. Big back activities. And it was SO good. Ordered breakfast delivery from here through DoorDash. This place gets very good reviews so we wanted to give it a try. We had breakfast burrito, Nashville hot fried chicken with hard egg add-on sandwich and queso dip. The fried chicken was very greasy with thick battering and it wasn't spicy at all. It was just a bad chicken sandwich! Other items were delicious though. Not sure we will order breakfast from this place again! read more

Stopped by to try the breakfast burrito after hearing good things from a few mutuals. Inside was clean and staff was welcoming. I ordered a simple sausage breakfast burrito, found a seat, and the food came out in a reasonable amount of time. The burrito was very good, flavorful and satisfying. (though I do wish it was a bit bigger.) Overall, a solid breakfast spot and I'd definitely come back. read more

Came here for a quick lunch and it's located in a small plaza with other eateries! There was plenty of parking here still when I arrived, so the plaza isn't tooo poppin. Going into eggbred, it's a very casual eatery. Order at the cashier and pick up. Sit anywhere you like. It wasn't my first time here and I was tempted to try the Fried Chicken Breakfast Sandwich since its most recommended on Yelp, but it lowkey sounded too heavy have haha. I asked the cashier for a rec and was suggested the Scramble Me Softly. Service was quick and efficient, and the staff here are all pretty friendly! It didn't take too long for my sandwich to be prepared. First glance at the sandwich, it highkey looks kind of boring, but once I had a few bites, overall flavor is pretty good! The scrambled eggs were very soft, and the buns were also nicely toasted. I wish the cheese was a bit more melted, but also feel like they could have added a bit more eggs. I mean overall, it was a pretty nice sandwich. Not mindblowing, but pretty solid to have for a quick breakfast bite. read more

Had this place bookmarked for a while and was in yhe area. Place is sandwiched in a small strip mall with other business, so parking can be a pain. Luckily found parking right away as somebody was leaving. I asked worker at the register what was one of the most popular item, she suggested the Ben Franklyn. Not a big fan if Arugula, luckily it wasnt stacked with it. Wait time was not bad, my breaky sando was fresh and hot. My only quarrel is with the aesthetics of the building the sandwich. It most definitely did not look like the picture in the menu haha Nice taste, the over easy egg gave it that chefs kiss with the runny yolk. Michael from EggBred suggested we try the Ribeye Asada Breakfast Burrito, Over Easy Eggs Avocado Toast, Beer Battered Potatoes, fresh orange juice, and blood orange juice. And it did not disappoint. I've had this place a handful of times because they have some of the best breakfast sandwiches I've had in the area. Beer battered potatoes--10/10 so good! Outside is nice and crisp while the inside was soft and not dry at all. They're seasoned really well and complement any sandwich. Scramble me softly-- 9/10 I really like the caramelized onions because they're really soft so you don't get that stringy onion texture but it adds so much depth of flavor. The only thing I would say is, because the egg is really soft, I wish the bun was a bit crispier to have a greater variety in textures. Sausage egg and cheese--6/10 this one was alright. The sausage and egg were good but I think the roasted pepper chimichurri didn't really complement the other flavors that well and was a bit overpowering. This was my first time at this Egg Bred location and it was a much better experience than the Placentia store. Shared a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich and order of potatoes with my girlfriend. Food was good and we ate it all. Order and pay at the counter and then the little pager goes off when your food is ready. Well little and clean restaurant. Parking lot is small and lots of people circling looking for a space. Near as I could tell there isn't any other option for parking. I'd eat here again. My family and I grabbed a late breakfast at this EggBred location, just before heading back to the Bay Area. They conveniently allow you to order your items online and pick them up at the restaurant. We took advantage of this feature since we were trying to save some time before our trip back. Against my better judgement, I ordered the sausage, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwich. I've noticed that breakfast sausages at most restaurants can be either a hit or miss (mostly a miss, unfortunately). In my case, the breakfast sausage was definitely a miss. Yum! Have tried the following and overall, so good! * California Chopped Chicken Toastie: Mmm so good!!! I just suggest eating this fresh. Still good later but best when fresh. * Build a Benny - Ribeye: flavorful and perfectly portioned with everything. * Cheddar Chive Biscuits & Gravy + added Ribeye Asada: I would order more sauce next time and I was just bummed it was missing the cheddar bits in the cuts in between the biscuits. I found this spot on google while trying to look for food in the area and it did not disappoint considering the neighborhood it's in. I was expecting to get an egg sandwich but that didn't happen haha. I ended up grabbing the truffle burger, and my partner got the Nashville hot chicken sandwich. We also shared the crunchy berry waffles and we literally could barely walk after this. The truffle burger was my favorite as the flavor was very bold. The Nashville chicken is a bit more standard to what you'd expect but still good. The waffles were very crunchy and sweet- this was not served with any honey/syrup but it probably isn't needed. Service was quick and friendly. I'd come back again to try their other dishes whenever I'm in the area. read more
Ordered: - Sausage, egg and cheese (3.5/5): delicious and decent size but a bit expensive for what it is. Loved how soft the brioche bun is but it didn't wow us at the price point unfortunately. It was the perfect portion size for my gf which means it likely wouldn't have been filling enough for me. - Country fried chicken (5/5): I don't always crave a fried chicken sandwich but I did today and it did not disappoint. The chicken was breaded and fried perfectly with a perfect crunch and juicy insides. The pickles helped cut through the heavy flavors to tie it all together. I would definitely get this again! Overall (4/5): It's no surprise that Eggbred was busy for a weekend brunch but we were lucky to find parking in the small lot. There isn't a lot of indoor seating space but there was pretty quick turnover on the tables, but do note that you will need to seat yourself after ordering making the experience a bit more chaotic than I would have liked. Music was a bit too loud to make it a vibey brunch spot and definitely leaned a bit more towards fast food spot, but we would come again if we wanted a quick brunch before other activities! read more
Since becoming a mom, one of the challenges is finding a spot that's both yummy and kid-friendly. Last week we visited Egg Bred in La Habra, and my little one was instantly drawn to their well-designed wall--it felt like a mini playground! That made the 20-30 minute food wait totally stress-free. I checked the menu beforehand and most items are super kid-friendly. The star of the morning was definitely the soft, fluffy scrambled egg with bread--so good I had to share (or should I say fight over it ). Fresh orange juice and blood orange juice were the perfect match. My toddler loved the battered potatoes--you can taste the real potatoes inside. Hubby was obsessed with the truffle burger and loaded burrito--he said everything tasted fresh and hearty. We ended with a sweet berry waffle , leaving us full, happy, and ready to take on the day. Hi Dan! We're shooting for Late March/Early April. The city has everyone being extra meticulous given that it's being built under one of the tallest high rise apartments in the city!

Absolutely! All of our sandwiches are available until we close :)

Yes, we can swap out the bun from any sandwich and replace it with arugula salad at no additional cost.
What are their covid precautions?
Employees are temperature checked, wear a face mask and gloves. There is also a plexiglass sneeze guard, and we have a routine sanitization of all contact surfaces.
