(3) angle valves with braided supply lines were installed in one bathroom. An ABS P-Trap was replaced in the same bathroom. A new circulating pump was installed over the water heater in the garage. Michael "Gino" Ginocchio was our technician for a leak on the side of our home. He diagnosed that our temperature pressure valve on our water heater was leaking due to sediment, increased pressure in the pipes, or increase in temperature. He hit the valve with a hammer to loosen any sediment and gave us an option to replace the valve or to wait and see if problem persists. Gino noticed the temperature was higher than normal and turned the knob back to the recommended setting. Since our water heater is 10 years old, he recommended replacement soon. He even taught me how to flush out the water heater if needed in the future. My wife mentioned that he had been to our house before to fix a clogged sink. Very knowledgeable and honest technician. I had a major back up problem on the mainline of the main sewer line for my rental property. I had two sets of Plumbing companies I had called. The first company came out and did not solve the problem. He did not recognize that that the clean out swept both ways and went the wrong way and then gave up and said he would need to come back tomorrow and then charge an additional $145 for a camera inspection. Fortunately I had Burtech plumbing as a back up Plumber and called them primarily because of the coupon for $59 that stated clean out service and also camera... which I needed. Within a few hours I had both Burt and Bill out there, one specializing in the clean-out machine and the other for the camera. The camera was used first and and it was determined that they were going in the right direction because of the sonar machine that detected the camera head underneath the concrete. Once it was determined where the problem was then the clean out machine was used and within a matter of five minutes the issue was resolved. Best $59 I've spent a long time. They got the issue resolved while the other plumbing company couldn't do it. read more

Mike arrived and spent so much time with us trying to determine the area of the clog. We have had this happen in the past and none of the other plumbers worked with us to determine exactly where the problem could be and some even left before we were able to test all sources. Mike waited patiently while I ran a load of laundry, the dishwasher, and all sinks, he snaked the tub and everything is running smoothly. These morons decided to use a jackhammer at night with out a noise permit. The foreman swore he had a permit but when he produced it, the application was clearly marked Cancelled. It seem it is either less expensive or cooler to work at night. They also closed off several streets to parking when it was obvious they were not working there. We had a toilet and shower backup on a Saturday. I tried clearing the line myself with a 25' powered snake but the problem persisted. Seeking a professional at that point, I called Burtech and we set up an appointment for several hours later. But only about 15 minutes later I got a call from Jose at Burtech who asked if he could arrive sooner. Of course, that was fine with me and he was here within 30 minutes. After a quick assessment by running water and checking a nearby cleanout, Jose said the toilet had to be removed to find the blockage. Now, I have removed many toilets myself (and installed the very toilet we were discussing) but their price was very reasonable and definitely worth it. After placing down "puppy-pads" to protect the floor tile, Jose removed the toilet and found a huge mass of small roots in the toilet drain pipe (which explains why my snaking the shower and cleanouts didn't work). I had never seen such a thing, yet he said he had just cleared the same type of blockage at his very last job (no substitute for professional experience). Anyway, he replaced the toilet in record time, tested for leaks and proper flow, and was on his way after probably less than 60 minutes. That check to Burtech was the happiest check I have written in 2022. Highly recommend this company. read more
