I am very disappointed with Burtech plumbing that has all 5 reviews since they do not provide 5 star service. The business seems to take advantage of elderly clients who depend on the honesty of their service providers. My parents who are both over age 85 contacted them to fix a simple problem -- a toilet that was continuously running into the toilet itself with no leaking outside of the toilet. They received a quote for $160 to fix the problem, but instead charged $269. A week later, the problem returned and then they sent a different plumber Gino who charged an additional $190 to fix the same problem. However, a few days later, there was water all over the bathroom floor since the toilet tank now started leaking. I went over to their house in the middle of the night to assess the problem and temporarily emptied the toilet tank to stop the leak. The issue was clearly due to the improper attachment of the toilet tank that was caused when Gino had to unscrew the toilet tank. However, I called them on Monday morning to try to have them fix the issue and the receptionist said someone would return my call right away, but a few hours later, I still did not hear back. When I called again, the receptionist told me that no one was able to come today (even though I called at 7am) and they would potentially charge my parents for another visit to asses the situation the next day. I think that is unacceptable to charge elderly clients 3 times to fix the same problem and another problem that was caused by one of their own plumbers. I would not recommend Burtech plumbing due to their poor customer service. read more

He came promptly on time, fixed a leak under our house, fixed our tankless water heater flush problem and also changed out the kitchen sink drain basket. Steven Ernst of Burtech Plumbing is my new super hero! My home is over 50 years old and I created a list of plumbing issues/concerns in preparation for his visit. He took time to review my list, asking questions for clarification, and as a highly experienced professional offered me a range of options to choose from. Opening up a clogged bathroom drain and installing a utility sink in the laundry area were quick fixes, but my biggest frustration over the past decades (!) was having to wait too long for hot water to come to my upstairs bathrooms and kitchen sink. Steven replaced my 15-year-old tankless water heater and also installed an under counter 10 gallon water heater just to support the dishwasher and kitchen sink. The result: Now hot water arrives in seconds instead of minutes, saving a HUGE amount of water and eliminating my frustration. He also performed a safety check which I really appreciated and replaced the whole house shut-off valve which was extremely difficult to turn. We had a backup from our kitchen and went to yelp to check out all the options we had for plumbers and get quotes. After sending out the project using yelp and getting back 5 different quotes and prices we went with the middle of the road pricing but our requirement was that they have 5 stars which 3 companies did. After spending an hour going through each review of all the customer reviews I chose Burtech Plumbing and from the start they were very responsive in all communications and scheduling. I was able to get on their schedule at 8pm for an onsite visit at 1pm the next day which was amazing! When Gino showed up he was actually 20 minutes early and was dressed in PPE since this is during the Coronavirus lockdown which made my wife feel very at ease. Gino was extremely quick to diagnose the issue and was able to get our house at 100% functionality with in a very quick amount of time. We are very thankful in getting Gino our and his professionalism was the best I have ever seen from a service perspective. The technician, who was otherwise friendly, lied to my face, THREE times, upon being asked the direct question: "Do I needs permit for this work?". Bert was assigned this repair, and he called the next morning to let us know his arrival time which was right on the scheduled time. This company is awful and evil. They did some work on my street. I parked my car midday then when I came out the next morning my car was towed. Asked the foreman what the hell there was no sign posted yesterday?? He said yes it was sometimes ppl move them. Really? Sometimes random ppl move 6-7 signs for no reason. $300 later I got my car back. Called the company to complain and they said we'll call you back. So basically no sign posted about work on street, put sign down in the morning, tow cars within the hour. You are horrible people read more

We just had Gino from Burtech Plumbing out to our house for a list of projects. Technician Gino was on time and ready to accomplish the work at hand. (3) angle valves with braided supply lines were installed in one bathroom. An ABS P-Trap was replaced in the same bathroom. A new circulating pump was installed over the water heater in the garage.
