This is disrespectful to say the least. No one addressed me to tell me "We will be right with you" or offering me water or anything. I was sitting there without being acknowleged. We have been very loyal customer for over 10 years now. We have a dog and a cat. This time the appointment was for my cat. I needed to take her there just for an evaluation in order to get her food prescription. I let them have it. I took my day off to take my cat and this is how they treated me. While I like my traditional veterinarian, the visits were too stressful for my ailing cat. I am extremely surprised to find that the veterinarian care received with the in-home visit by Dr. Villar exceeds my experience with my in-office veterinarian and advice received by my traditional veterinarian. Solutions were offered to me by Dr Villar that my traditional veterinarian never even suggested. Issues that I struggled to get my in-office veterinarians to understand were explained to me by Dr Villar before I even brought the issue up. This to me is the difference in experience! Further, the recommendations of Dr Villar are simple and cost-effective as compared to my in-office veterinarian who offered only the most expensive of options. Also, in comparison, my in-office veterinarians are younger and lack the abundantly apparent experience of Dr. Villar. I cannot speak highly enough of this experience! Midway through, two interviewers, Imani and Gao, began a lengthy discussion with each other regarding matters unrelated to the interview. This left me sitting in silence for an extended period. I was also asked questions unrelated to the position, including: "How has your boyfriend provided for you? What's his occupation?" "How did they hire Mexicans at your previous clinic?" "How many people were working in the back?" At one point, I was told that my written responses in the pre interview questionnaire stood out the most among all applicants. However, I was later informed I would not be selected because one of the three doctors preferred "straightforward answers" and felt my verbal responses during the interview did not meet that preference. It's no surprise they have remained understaffed for THREE YEARS. I am sharing this feedback to highlight concerns about professionalism, interview relevance, and potential inappropriate questioning during the hiring process.
