We discovered a bee swarm in our roof and called Busy Bee. They were able to respond the same day and they discovered a large hive in the roof. They had to exterminate the hive because they were "killer bees." They returned a few days later and removed about 75 pounds of honeycomb by cutting a hole in our roof. The whole thing was expensive, but I have no idea what the going rate is for this stuff, we just wanted them gone as we had been stung and did not want the liability associated with a known killer bee hive. read more

This company tells me they went out to house and there are no bees. Wrong. Provided video to contrary. Fast forward to 6.11.25 get a msg from some Bozo asking to remit payment. Send him copy of online bank statement, transaction number, amount deducted including up charge, date deducted, for incomplete job. Paid in full. Incompetence on services rendered. I've been getting help from Greg to navigate the bee removal process and has been a human being with me and understanding my concerns and unique complications. Its much more affordable to get the bees removed threw Busy Bee! We were expecting closer to $600, and it was a fraction of that. We contacted the city to help remove and that was denied being that these were now aggressive bees. we contacted people who would want to keep the honey or bees but again they were aggressive bees so nothing continued. We finally got in touch threw Evan to call back to remove the bees and been a pretty smooth process as well as them being VERY quick at what they do. Shaun and who was with him(never got the gentleman's name) are professionals and know around a bee hive even one inside of a vehicle. So my ONLY caveat to my whole experience was I asked how the bees and hive would be removed ahead of time and my questions were not answered. I'm not sure if its legal, or because they cant give a better quote till seen. But i didn't even get a generally this happens, or if you have this you'll need this. only general i got was if they have to get on a ladder that's an upcharge, and if they are honey bees they would love to relocate the queen and if its aggressive that's another approach.. I needed to know if they burn or a harsh chemical that could ruin the car as well as can they keep the bees from coming back since we have had a beehive return before over 10 years ago. So they remove the bees for a very affordable price. But to keep the bees from returning you need to remove the honey and removal is another ball park, labor, heat, location of hive, etc. so my 200 bill jumps to 700. I'm not the homeowner and needed a better quote to get the money from thin air. Over all the people are amazing and nice. They KNOW what they are doing in regards at least to bee's! We had an incredible experience with Busy Bee Pest Solutions. We had been dealing with those pesky yellow paper wasps, to the point where we couldn't use our pool. It was every Summer and driving us crazy. We had a company come out two seasons ago, charged a fortune, and the wasps set up new homes immediately. I called Busy Bee, couldn't believe that they came out the SAME DAY, and after surveying possible hives, got to work immediately. The owner, and one of his workers, suited up and got to work. What was incredibly impressive was that they spent a lot of time watching the flying patterns of the wasps and treating each nest. We had nests in places that we had no idea existed. This company was fast. affordable, conscientious, and seemed to genuinely care about permanently getting rid of these pests. They were so great, educated me, and were able to get into incredibly hard to reach areas. As they taught me to watch their flying patterns, I saw 2 scouts come check out their old nests, and we found one new nest made. We were able to knock it down, and no one has come back and it has been 2 months now!! We feel overjoyed and can use our pool again. Called frantically when three yellow and black buzzing insects came out of my AC vent in the hallway, which leads to all the bedrooms in the house. I was able to get a hold of someone on a Sunday afternoon and by the next evening I had Evan at my door. He recognized and specifically identified the two different insect corpses that where in my home. His knowledge was impressive. Nice people but incapable of solving rats in the attic problem. They claimed they could not walk on the roof for fear of damaging it. Another pest control service had no problem walking on the roof, photographing all of the openings where rats could enter on the roof, vent pipe openings and foundation openings. The new company was much more thorough. Busy Bee was a waste of time and money. They were never going to solve the problem. read more
