I had high expectations having gone to their other location in South Sac, and was hyping up our visit to my family. While we were seated quickly, the service after that was slow and it was difficult to get a workers attention. It was a busy Saturday morning, and there was plenty of staff available so it was hard to understand why service was slow. We attempted to get someones attention for a coffee refill as they walked by without any luck. Our server was nice, but they also seemed to disappear for a bit. When our food came out it was slightly warm but not hot like you'd expect it. Flavors and portions were good, which was the upside to it all. If choosing between either location, I would go with the location in south sac.

This place has been around for years, and I've got to make a trip down to the Florin location. That's the one I associate most with Stagecoach, the OG. We went here and were seated promptly on a Saturday morning. We were asked for our drinks order immediately, which was nice. The booths were surprisingly small in size. We got our orders in, and then after that it took a surprising amount of time for things to reach the table. Both drinks and food took a while to reach us, something to definitely be noted if you're in a time crunch. Refills for drinks--for the bottomless coffees we ordered--were slow to arrive at first. They had to be flagged down by several tables, but then the traditional service of them coming table to table happened later on. In addition to the long time it took for food to reach us, the food itself didnt blow me away. Despite it taking a while, the food wasn't even hot. It was warm, at best. The flavor didn't blow me away; comparatively not as good to other breakfast places. Toast was buttered by default; a noted for those who prefer it plain. I'll have to visit Florin, because this place was just OK.

Came in on a Saturday morning after wanting to try this place for a while. The wait was only about 20 minutes, which wasn't bad at all. I ordered the 8 oz New York steak with two eggs and potatoes, plus a side of ham. I also had coffee and orange juice. The drinks were excellent -- the orange juice was fresh and delicious, the coffee was great, and they kept refilling it, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, my meal came out cold. I asked our waiter, Kyle, if it could be warmed up since I didn't want to eat it cold. When the plate came back, it was no longer a New York steak but a sirloin, and it wasn't cooked medium-well as requested. At that point, I didn't feel like continuing to go back and forth, so I just let it be. Overall, the drinks were good and the staff was friendly, but I didn't enjoy my meal, which was disappointing. My husband had the #22 omlette with ground beef, spinach, mushroom & onion without the gravy. He was super disappointed because it was the first omlette he has had that didn't have cheese making it super dry. The filling was overpowered with beef. He couldn't even eat half of it. His hash browns were ok as was the sourdough. He did love the orange juice too and enjoyed the coffee.

On a Saturday morning, it can be busy and had a minor wait. The wait wasn't too bad about 10 mins. I had a great chorizo scramble with potatoes and wheat toast today for brunch with a girlfriend. The food was hot, fresh and flavored well. The server was nice and friendly and speedy with bringing items when requested. The ambiance is a typical diner and can be busy but clean and not too loud. Will come back again

I visited for brunch with my boyfriend based on Yelp recommendations. I ordered the chicken and waffles. While the waffles were enjoyable, the chicken was dry and the hot honey had an unusual taste. Additionally, despite requesting no butter on the side, it was still included on my plate. Our food also took a considerable amount of time to arrive. More concerning, was overhearing two staff members speaking negatively about a customer while we were dining. This created an uncomfortable atmosphere for me and my boyfriend. Due to these issues, we chose to leave without finishing our meal, paid and left disappointed.

Was craving some southern style brunch and paid a visit to Stagecoach! We were immediately seated and welcomed on a Saturday afternoon. The staff were attentive and friendly. My mom is vegetarian so we appreciated that they had menu options for her. We did have to check in on our dishes a couple times (seemed like the staff forgot about a few things) but they were corrected quickly. The food was good but not great. The water (or maybe it was the ice) tasted a bit off. The grits tasted like the water so they tasted off as well. Overall we felt like each dish could've been more flavorful and delivered the bare minimum even though it's not necessarily cheap prices.

Its been a while since we've been here but it won't be long until we come back! Food was delicious! Coffee hit the spot on a early Sunday morning. The hostess was so nice and full of positive energy. My wife commented several times how awesome she thought the hostess was. Our server was a very tall young man. I forget his name but he did a great job. I got the corned beef hash and scrambled eggs and it did not disappoint. My wife got a sausage scrambled with fresh fruit that she enjoyed as well. The decor is always so warm and inviting. Mel is doing a wonderful job keeping the tradition alive started by her mom and dad. I cant wait to come back!

Another great breakfast at Stagecoach! My omelette was hot, fresh, and delectable. It was the ultimate comfort food! This morning I ate the #22 omelette: ground beef, mushrooms, spinach, and onions, smothered in country gravy. I chose hash browns and a blueberry muffin. My server was friendly and attentive! Great service with a homely, welcoming atmosphere. Elk Grove love!

This double cheesei added bacon to was delicious. The Loco moco was a little overcooked but had good flavor. The service was good and it was the busiest part of the day but we were seated fairly quickly.

I love this restaurant for a cozy yummy breakfast or lunch. They decorate for Christmas time which is always a plus for me. The food is yummy and I can tell the staff works hard but we did have to wait quite a bit longer for giving our order or getting the check because it was busy. We have tried both breakfast and lunch there and both are great. Smaller space so when it gets crowded, people have to wait outside. Good parking.

The service was nice and the restaurant has a homey feel to it. The corn beef hash is a huge portion that can definitely be split into two meals. It was a little salty. I enjoyed the blueberry muffin that it came with.

Ordered the Country fried steak and Po Boy Chicken sandwich with upgraded sweet potato fries TO-GO. They did not tell us how long we could potentially be waiting... We waited 30 minutes to get our order. Cell reception sucks so you can't really play with your phone while waiting for your food which it made it more excruciating. Had to step outside. The worst part was when I got home. Sweet potatoes fries were super soggy so I had to air fry it. What's unforgivable was that on my Po boy, they gave me a tiny strip of burnt chicken!!! It was super dry too The tartar sauce on the sandwich was good so I give them that, and Country fried steak was decent... but when you mess up the one thing you should be good at and you make guest wait 30+ minutes for burnt food, that's something you can't overlook. We had the chance to try them when they were good but the quality has gone downhill while price has increased. I won't be coming back. Tip: call in advance to order or expect to wait a lifetime. Maybe ask if it would be faster to dine in? They close at 3pm too. Check your chicken before you go home. $16 for po boy not worth it. Don't upgrade to soggy sweet potatoes fries.

The salad added a great way to cut through the meats and rice. Everything was delicious and we will definitely return with some changes in HOW we order. (Less sauce and crispier fries). Advice we received from one of the men working there... the bowls will get you stuffed and the gyros will be perfect. He was so right, however, I did order a lot. Mixed platter & chicken platter: 9/10 needs less sauce (but this is my opinion) in the future I'll order sauce on the side. My husband & I live in the Monterey area, but our elderly moms live in Galt & Pioneer. So, with busy lives we decided to try & give them a Mother's Day they'd really like. I was searching up restaurants that were doing Mother's Day events in their area. I didn't want to do a buffet or be in a place that was going to be so packed no one could hear each other. Tough challenge. But I found the Mother's Day brunch event at the Brick House, so decided to make reservations. I personally liked that you had to leave a deposit to hold the reservation. That tells me they're serious about making sure it was not overcrowded. The menu was limited due to it being a special event, but the items to choose from seemed interesting. Plus the bottomless mimosas & bloody Mary's was a big bonus. Our reservation was at 10:15AM. I'll start off with the review by mentioning my dad. He is a grumpy old guy who doesn't get out much. I've had to "warn" wait staff to ignore him; that he's a grump & won't be paying the bill, we will, so to not let any comments phase them, & we will try to keep him in line. Luckily he doesn't know what yelp is! When we were reviewing the menu the night before, he made the comments, "weird menu, it will be crowded, bottomless drinks? That means they will come by one time with tiny glasses." So we arrive a little early but are immediately seated in a very quiet area with only a couple of other tables occupied. The Grumpy old man: "see. They stuck us where we won't get any service." As soon as we sat down our waitress came over & immediately wished us all a happy mother's Day & could she get us a Bloody Mary or mimosa & that they were bottomless. And that she'd also be bringing our pastry board. We ordered our drinks & my dad made the comments, loud enough for the waitress to hear, "ok girls. Your one small mimosa will be coming out along with cold donuts. you'll never be offered another one, so enjoy." Within a few minutes us moms got our mimosas. In large wine glasses, filled to the top. Grumpy old man got a Bloody Mary. Nice selection of Pastries were hot out of the oven. He Made the comment, "great, a weak drink." (He hadn't taken a sip yet.") We told the waitress we would need a few minutes to look at the menu, she said fine. No rush. She came back & saw my mom & dad were nearly done with their drinks. Offered another while she took our order. My dad replied: "no. I'm driving." Translation: it's a strong drink. We went to order & my dad ordered the eggs Benedict with pork belly. also muttering it sounded weird, and it would be a shame to throw out such expensive food. He ate every bite & told the waitress it was "ok." (He rarely eats all his food.) Translation: it was probably one of the best he's had. I had the vegetable quiche & it was very good. The mimosas kept being offered & were flowing for the moms well after our food was finished which for it being a special, reservation only event was a pleasant surprise. We finely told the waitress at round 4 us girls were done. The restaurant remained quiet & when we left, it was busy, but not overly so. The manager, Chris, was greeting people & wishing the moms a happy Mother's Day. We were there for a couple of hours & never felt rushed to leave. When the bill came & my husband went to pay it, my dad told him to make sure the tip wasn't included before not leaving one. The waitress had to put up with us girls Constantly getting mimosas without asking for them. Translation: he felt like he had a nice time, the waitress made sure us moms had a nice time & wanted to make sure she got a tip. Us girls decided that we wanted to come back for regular happy hour/dinner next time we visited. My dad grumbled that he'd have to come too so we'd have a ride back. Translation: he wants to come back. Lol It was pricey, but worth every penny for the wonderful Mother's Day we were able to give our older moms. I'd definitely do it again next year if they have it. Thank you!

Unfortunately, the food didn't match that level. I'd rate it around a 3. The tri-tip was chewy and lacked tenderness. The corn seemed like it was poured straight out of a can, water and all, with no real flavor or preparation. The Louisiana sausage was underwhelming--honestly, I've had better from Safeway. Even the cornbread was dry and disappointing. Considering the price and portion sizes, it just didn't feel worth it.
