Salmon Avocado Toast, Breakfast Mulita, Black Coffee
    Marie T.

They have really good food, it was a nice setting and very comfortable. Staff were friendly and service was quick. Ordered Salmon Avocado Toast and Breakfast Mulita. For the mulita I asked for light crema and queso fresco. Black coffee which was good actually, it didn't taste burnt.

I've heard so many great things about Jamie's café that I wanted to try it for myself. Inside it was larger than I expected, not really fancy or upscale, but more like a neighborhood diner. The service was good we were greeted as we came in and they came to take our order right away. The food was okay. We ordered the chicken fried steak which had a heavy coating but the meat was thin and a bit of gristle the gravy was not really flavorful. The bacon was thick and tasty and the biscuit was good.

The food is delicious and the service is professional and so kind. We sat on the patio and enjoyed a great brunch. It was sweet to see the staff talking with the regulars.

I came to Jamie's Cafe for Sunday brunch around lunchtime, and it was kind of busy, but the wait was not too long, about 15 to 20 minutes. The service was really fast, and the workers were friendly. They have really big portion sizes. I got the steak with eggs and a biscuit, and it was delicious. I even had enough left over to take home. It is also a pretty big space, which made it feel less crowded.

I wanted to take my mom to a new place for breakfast. Her go to is iHop because she does not eat much at one time. Tina our server was great. They have the best servers at this establishment. Eggs with French toast My mom really loved this dish. She has enough leftovers for two more meals. Chicken Fried Steak and eggs. Always good and filling. My mom was talking the next day about how much she loved her meal here. I rarely order coffee out, have Nespresso first thing in the morning but today I did. Good coffee.

It was my first time coming here, came when it busy and got helped right away ! Good servers, clean restaurant. Ordered the fried French toast and it came with 2 eggs and 2 big sized sausages. Extremely good and large portions for a good price. The toast was good and not overly sweet. It was perfect to my liking and I don't like things super sweet. Highly recommend!

I can see why this restaurant is always busy because the food is great! My husband and I split the Dads Mashup. I really liked the gravy and biscuit. Seasoned well, not too salty. Service was good even though they were busy. They take reservations!

Decided last minute to have brunch here the day after Christmas. We were shocked how packed this restaurant was but they were truly accommodating. We had a twenty minute wait which we thought really??? but it happened as we got seated in 20 minutes! Nice! Catherine was our waitress & was fast & efficient. She was even requested by another table on the other side of the restaurant. I thought oh no we won't get our entrees & was I ever so wrong. These employees work well as a team as our food appeared rather quickly. My buttermilk pancakes were excellent & so fluffy & tasty! My poor wife's mouth was watering big time watching me scarfed down my pancakes! Heehee!!! This restaurant was very casual yet clean. As many people they got inside the restaurant that day we were truly amazed. We were very happy to see this family owned business doing super well. Too bad they don't open later in the day. They pretty much close by 2 PM. When the weather gets warmer they do have outdoors seating. Many people do order food to go as my wife had in the past. Jamie's is definitely your neighborhood restaurant & you can be sure we will return!!!

I got to try this place thru door dash. I through the breakfast burrito was delicious. With the salsa, made it top tier! I wish I could have gotten more salsa. The breakfast burrito was filled with sausage, eggs, cheese, etc and it was a good mix and ended up being very filling. I would say the country potatoes were just all right. I wills like to try this place in person, and order more things to try.

This cafe should be rated #1 for excellent customer service. Warm welcome as you enter, wait time for party of two under 10 minutes. While waiting to be seated, and it being my first time dining here, my eyes began scouting the spacious dining area filled with happy customers. It was an arctic Saturday morning and I was desperately wanting a hot beverage. Our table server "Tina" was exceptional! She greeted us with a genuine smile, positive energy, patient, and very helpful with menu choices. Combine this with the warm welcome and you get #1 excellent customer service! Order up... I had 'mom's French toast, scrambled eggs and bacon...yummy. Wait. My food was lukewarm. I'm one who likes my food hot. The French toast could have been fluffy instead it was on the soggy side giving the bread pudding texture once the syrup was added. But it had delicious flavor. I also ordered from their "seasonal Sip' menu the Mocha White Mocha. Sadly it was tepid. Once I mixed in the whipped topping it instantly went cold. It tasted great so I took it to-go. I'm definitely coming back. Can't wait to try the char-broiled salmon filet, Cobb salad and more.

Deep Fried Strawberry French Toast - 10/10

Jamie's Cafe is a cute little modern diner in Elk Grove near I-5 serving all types of comfort food and is popular by demand for a reason. I can only imagine the weekends when they serve their Eggs Benedict! Yes, this is sadly only a weekend special. That's okay because we ended up getting their Fried French Toast and Dad's Mash up which were just as tasty. The smell and taste of their Deep Fried Strawberry French Toast was reminiscent of a funnel cake. I was afraid this might be on the heavier and oilier side after eating. Not at all! The fry was light and crisp, bread nice and thick, whipped cream and strawberry sauce topped with powdered sugar were obligatory to complete this incredible breakfast dessert. However, I wouldn't say it was overly sweet which was nice! This was also served with a side of 2 bacon strips and eggs. Dad's Mash Up was good but I think it could've been great if it had more prominent bacon pieces within the mix instead of sausage. Personal preference... I would describe this best as a fully loaded biscuits and gravy. Soft pillowy biscuits below smothered with cut up sausage, peppers, ham, tots, scrambled eggs, and thick luscious gravy. Extremely filling. Glad I tried it but would like to get something different next time. Brunch + comfort food are two of my top fav's. I can confidently say Jamie's Cafe left me satisfied and full. I will definitely be returning and highly recommend!

I think I'm officially biased. I really enjoy Jamie's every time. And they aren't perfect. But close. They were busy - per usual. We were motioned to sit down. Another few tables came in behind us. And then - a couple seated after us was offered menus and waters before us... just as I was going to say something about being skipped over our beautiful server arrived and the rest of our meal was great! Pastrami sandwich and breakfast mulitas. The chorizo on the mulitas was so good - they were hard to eat but I just went ahead and made a mess of my plate. I love that there are so many food options all the time. The specials really are special and the service is truly kind and attentive. Just be patient if they are super busy. It's worth the wait.

    Ham Benedict
    Lena T.

Came here for brunch on a weekend. It was pretty busy but we were seated within 30 minutes. Got the ham benedict with tater tots and the country fried steak with potatoes. The waitress asked if we wanted bell peppers and onions but failed to mention it costed $1 more for each. They also gave very little for the $2 upcharge. Less than a teaspoon full of each. The hollandaise sauce was a very strange texture. It was a bit grainy and very thick. And had a very strong aftertaste that made it hard to eat. The rest of the food and drink were ok.

The associate that helped us take our order was very nice. What seemed to be "display" spring rolls in a takeout container sat underneath a sign near the register that said they now offered - Spring Rolls! I was craving some so I ordered it and watched in horror as the cashier took the container that had been sitting there before I arrived and placed it next to the sandwich making area. Maybe it was just a signal to the person making food that spring rolls were ordered and to make some, but nope, I was served shrimp spring rolls that had been sitting there on the counter, not temperature controlled. When we asked to give it back for a refund we were given one, but we were also told that it had been made recently since people order them all the time. At least put it in the fridge, maybe. Then while we were eating another worker was mopping the floors all around us, and she actually bumped into me twice with her elbow, that's how close she was. Maybe don't mop the lobby while folks are eating. All that on top of seeing the person making food grab a broom with gloved hands that then prepared sandwiches without changing gloves or washing hands made me decide never to come back again.

Mango Sticky Rice Matcha (50% Sweet + Oat Milk) - 8.9/10 The sticky rice wasn't too hard to chew and tasted really fresh.
