The manager had no reason why, seemed flustered by the question and quickly went outside to take the big sign by the road down. He said he had no idea there was nothing on sale. Great manager. Another employee suggested they had sent back all the other stuff that would have actually been on sale, which made no sense at all. When I returned it to complain, they were agressive and tried to blame me and said it was fine when they tested it. Turns out they had installed an 11-cog rear cassette on my 10 speed bike and they (despite their insistence) had never bothered to test it.
