Discovering this place during a ski trip was a highlight. Living in NYC where there is no shortage of great bagels, I say that Butte can hang with the best. These bagels alone are phenomenal but there sandwiches are next level. I had the Fletcher on an everything pretzel bagel which was no joke the best breakfast sandwich I've ever had. Talked to the owner who was extremely nice and he asked how I liked the sausage because they just starting sourcing it fresh and locally. It was delicious. read more

Local, fresh, fluffy and flavorful. This is a block off of the main Elk Ave. They have a variety of bagels and bagel sandwich options to satisfy your individual craving. Sweet, savory and all the in between. I ordered the hippy sandwich on an everything bagel that came with egg whites, spinach, avocado and pepper jack cheese. The lighter contents complimented a heartier bagel well. My husband got the corgi roll enveloped with egg, sausage and cheddar cheese. The roll was soooo soft the bread was probably the best part. Very hearty. The staff here are so down to earth and super friendly. Only downside is that this place is very small so it's a lot of bumping into other people to get through line, to bathroom, etc. But otherwise happy we stopped by! read more

Let's start with the bagels were amazing. I bet if one was hungover you'd be in heaven starting your day with one. They are boiled and baked to perfection. The music is giving such chill vibes. We went during MDW (at 830am on a Saturday) and only waited behind two other people (I've heard this place gets insane lines during busy seasons). We split the Fletcher on an everything bagel and my god... I am STILL dreaming/drooling about it. Seriously one of the best bagels I've ever had! The triple egg with all that meat is no joke-- this bagel kept me full until dinnertime, haha. I really wasn't expecting to find such good food in a small mountain town, but the bagels here are unreal. From someone who grew up in NJ, this place is great! Hands down best bagels I have had in Colorado so far. For you fellow tri-state area folks, it's never the same as East coast, but it is pretty darn good. For any (minor) bagel shortfalls, their sandwich creations are AH-MAZ-ING!! 100% WILL RETURN. Visited on rainy Thursday morning, place is a little bit hidden, behind post office and parking was easy. We didn't wait long for our beagles to be ready, I guess weather helped and we been there around 8am. We tried 4 different beagles, classic, east coast, lox and reuben. This will be the absolute best bagel you've EVER had. Each night the staff hand-makes all the bagels for the next day. All of their ingredients are fresh and local if possible. The owners of this restaurant are also the girls and guys building your sandwich in the back. This place is blossoming with authenticity and love for bagels. Their menu is extensive with housemaid creations as well as the option to build your own bagel sandwich. They have every flavor bagel you can think of as well as ingredients you may have not seen the bagel before!!! My personal favorite is the Buddha Bahn Mi. With colorful flavors like pickled onions and tofu, it also comes with a special sauce. Another amazing one is the Scotty and the Hippie. They usually always have rockin tunes from the 80s and classic rock hits blasting at 8 AM. It's the perfect way to start any morning whether you're headed to a hike, long drive, or just want to chow down after a night out and take a nap. They have couches and chairs to sit inside but usually the line is so long you want to enjoy their back patio or take your yummy sandwich home. Man, I've had NY deli bagels and Montreal style bagels, both delicious in their own right. These bagels are equally delicious, but in a much more beautiful setting. Open during Covid and on Labor day! With a group of NY friends with high bagel standards. We were all blown away on how good the bagels were. I enjoyed the vegan one and a americano which where both on point. Very tasty and fresh. Girlfriend was amazed on how creamy her Oat Milk Latte was. It may have been one of the very few places open at that time on labor day so the line was decently long (but well worth it) For sure will come back! I've been going to this place for maybe 20 years. It used to be Izzy's then it was sold to younger owners. This is the second time I've gone under the new ownership. The menu is much smaller, mostly bagels and bagel sandwiches (hence the new name, presumably). There are maybe 10-12 sandwich choices, although mine came without sides dishes, none of which I saw on the.menu. (The menu is written in chalk, so might change.) As under the old ownership, once something (a type of bagel in particular) is gone, it's gone for the rest of the day as best I can tell. That means they're fresh, but also not necessarily there. My sandwich was called the Hippy. It had pesto, avocado and greens (vegetarian-friendly, like some other things in the menu). It was fairly tasty. But what really put me off was that in the restaurant's small seating area a large-ish dog repeatedly came in and out. None of the employees (owners?) seemed to be the least bit bothered by it, so perhaps it belongs to one of them. I didn't particularly see it go into or out of the kitchen, but it was still really off-putting, I'd be very surprised if this were legal under CO health codes. They really need to fix this. Hence my one-star rating. The food was good although not spectacular, and it was prepared quickly. read more
