The eggs were rubbery, the salmon in the avocado toast brown and the potatoes in both dishes we ordered severely undercooked. I do have to say the bacon was good!this was the only thing decent. The interiors isn't as nice as other locations that I've been, but food always hit the spot. Good service, good range of menu options.. only negative and keep me from coming as often is the price. Came in on a Friday at 12:30 for a last minute brunch with my friend, party of two! We waited about 10 minutes and were seated on a cozy corner of the back of the restaurant. I asked for poached eggs, bacon, home fries and blueberry muffin along with an iced tea. The eggs were rubbery and lacked any taste at all. The bacon was probably the best item. The potatoes were also of a rubbery consistency and the blueberry muffin was average not spectatular. All in all, I will not be returning. We were a group of six--three adults and three kids--and everything we ordered was delicious. The Ranchero Skillet was an absolute winner: perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and super satisfying. The chilaquiles (the Spanish-style breakfast with tortilla chips, eggs, and sauce) weren't far behind--savory, comforting, and done just right. One of the adults ordered a Bloody Mary flight (which was so fun!) and shared two entrées instead of ordering a full meal, and even with drinks and food for six people, our entire bill came to just $100. This was an unpleasant visit! Food was not that good. I ordered the machaca plate. I waited a long time and there did not seem to be that many people inside the restaurant. Finally I got my food and it was NOT WARM. A hot meal would have bin appropriate. I immediately told the waitress that my meal was not even warm. She got the manager to come over and talk to me about this... The Manager came, I explained the problem, I informed her about how my meal had taken too long to prepare and that the meal was not even warm. She said "oh, I am sorry, I will warm it up for you." At this point, after waiting for my food to be brought back. My other guest eating with me was almost done with their food. The manager informed me again, "the food is on its way." I said, please, just pack it to go. It makes no sense for me to make the other person wait while I eat, after they have finished their meal. She said ok. The food was brought back, my guest had finished eating their food at this point. So I asked for the check. There was no point in eating alone and being waited on while eating. We left the restaurant and I was very disappointed with the service, the food, and the manager's actions. I have to say, manager needs to improve on management skills. She could have offers a free meal or a discount on the meal for the inconveniences that was caused. This was a horrible brunch experience. From the moment we sat down, the waitress seemed visibly annoyed to serve our table despite us doing nothing wrong. She had a distasteful attitude while taking our drink and food orders. The food took over 45 minutes to arrive, and when it finally did, the order was incorrect. There was no apology or sincerity about the mistake, and it took another 15 minutes to get it fixed. One of our drinks never came out at all, and no one seemed to care or acknowledge it. Only 25 minutes after our food arrived, while we were still actively eating, the waitress brought us to go boxes and dropped the bill without asking if we were finished or whether we wanted the check split. When we went to pay, we had to ask the cashier to split the bill three ways. At that point, our waitress rudely interjected and said we should have told her ahead of time, yet she never gave us the opportunity, as she handed us the bill without asking anything. To make matters worse, a table that arrived after us received their food before we did and finished eating before us. That alone shows how long and poorly handled our experience was.
