The prices are good, a little higher than a grocery store, but there are no freaky artificial ingredients in their desserts, just the real stuff: butter, milk, cream, sugar, etc. I think the building is so cute and I love Deland. A great place in nice weather to sit outside and enjoy a cup of coffee. The place is very small. In fact, you can't go inside. Rather, you walk up to a window of the small building, almost like the old ice cream stands. They even have a drive through window, which is absolutely a great option. You can see the delicious baked options from a distance or you can ask the worker to show them to you. However, four bucks for a muffin? And $4.25 for a small scone? They don't even charge those prices in Naples! The organic coffee was worth the $1.90 and I would go back for coffee because of the drive through convenience or if I had time to sit at one of the several outside bistro tables on a nice day. read more

Delicious sweets and very nice staff. I liked that I could see the deserts through the window. It helped me in deciding which desert to pick. I tried the banana cake , black and white cupcake and peanut butter brownie. All these treats were amazing! The banana cake was fluffy and moist with a very fresh light flavor. The icing was so creamy and I loved everything about this cake. Banana cake was my favorite. This was my first time trying a black and white cupcake. It was very good. I loved the chocolate side best. I liked that I felt like I had two cupcakes in one. The lemon cake part was also very light & fluffy while not tasting dry or too oily! The peanut butter brownie my friend had was really good but I only had a few bites because I am not the biggest fan of peanut butter things. Overall I will be back to try more items. DO NOT USE THIS BAKERY!!! My 73year old mother paid $50 for an 8in cake. It was supposed to be orange. We called on my birthday before they closed and said we think they gave us the wrong cake. They said no it is the correct one but it wasn't it was not even edible tasted like a very stale not good yellow cake! They would not call us back. I ended up crying so hard knowing it would more than likely be my last birthday with my mother due to my health and her age and had been ruined and wrecked my car. We have this whole inedible horrible cake and just asked to either remake or refund. They refused to even taste to see was awful. The MANAGER put the woman who supposedly made it on the phone who did not even listen just started screaming "YOU NEED TO GO GET SOME LUPUS UP ON YOU AND DIE" who even speaks Like that but For their information I have lupus and I am terminally ill from it but for some weird lady to just scream that at me and the manager to do nothing is ridiculous when I called back after the woman hanging the phone up on me when I had never so much ad said an inappropriate word to her or unkind and asked how she could let an employee talk like that she said "just don't use us anymore" and hung up on me! I feel that you need to browse a glass case and be able to smell the baked goods. What I have gotten there has been good- not mind blowing.
