I go here at least few times a month. I have ordered lunch items, coffee, teas and of course THE BAKED GOODS. I cannot express how fresh and tasty everything always is. My kids love this place and sometimes I get things for my employees and friends. Very friendly owner and staff and service is always on a 5 star level. I love coming here it's such a cute little place where you can sit on a little bench or at the table and enjoy you can also birds around you while you take a bite of delicious fresh cake or a scone. If you have it been here you should definitely try it! You can also use drive thru if you don't feel like getting out of the car.

I stopped by while in downtown DeLand recently. What a treat! They have a menu that is updated by the minute. While I was sitting there eating my scone I saw works move in and out to update the board. It seems that their cupcakes are very popular as are their iced teas. I enjoyed a blueberry scone and hibiscus tea - both were delicious. The outdoor seating is very cute and can provide a nice view away from the chaos of the main road. I'll be stopping by again the next time I'm in town.

I had the strawberry shortcake. The whipped cream was fresh from scratch, the strawberries were soaked with plenty of juice with homemade cake! It's like stepping into a scene from a Hallmark movie. It's a great place to ride your bike to and enjoy a treat. The service is welcoming and the sights are relaxing. Must try!!

Super cute bakery, just like you would expect with a name like Buttercup. There is a walk up window with a full display of sweet delights. Wow! Hard to choose and most likely will come back one more time before I leave. Thoroughly enjoyed the Lemon Kentucky Butter cake on the front patio with a cup of regular Colombian coffee. I was shocked to see how busy the drive up window is on a Tuesday afternoon! Off the beaten path of the main drag, but worth every delicious bite!

Such a cute quaint little bakery shop! You order at the outside walk-up window or drive-thru. They have teas, coffees, sandwiches & a beautiful assortment of desserts. I asked & this building was built specially as a bakery & the owners have been in business 16 years. We got the Kentucky Butter Cake & so far it is too cold to eat, the icing is sort of hard. Going to let it acclimate to room temperature before trying again. Pricey for a standard slice cut $6.25 + tax. But will still return to try out the different bars. Tons of ducks waddling around here. And a nice little pond out back. Girl who works there was very sweet & helpful (sorry didn't get her name).

Just not on Tuesdays because that is their day off ;) This bakery is in a house and may look unassuming but they stayed busy! We were greeted by a sincerely cheerful young guy as we open the front door. Entering from a wood porch, of course. Junior's Mother & Father are directly behind him, clearly visible through a large plate glass window rolling dough and making magic. The son patiently guides us through all of what's left from this morning's fresh-baked offerings. Not surprisingly, more than half the treats are gone at 12:30 in the afternoon. Clearly the locals know a good thing. He advises us to come earlier next time - 8-9am - so we may choose anything baked fresh that day. We opted for way too many items and then sat out on the front porch enjoying a few tasty tidbits. Junior told us his parents are from Venezuela and Portugal. Gotta say these folks really know how to prepare delicious breads and pastries. We will most definitely go back. A great small family-owned business operated by folks who know how to do some simple things very well. Fresh. Delicious. Delightful. Good stuff!

There was lots of candies that I haven't seen in along time. This shop has one of the longest fresh chocolate cases I've seen. There was so much fudge options and other goodies. We got several chocolates to enjoy later in our hotel. They were delicious. The staff here is the sweetest. We felt so welcomed and were greeted right away when we entered. What an incredible gem in Deland!…read more Parva is a delightful restaurant, bar, and bakery right on Woodland Blvd. The entire staff was warm and welcoming, and the service was excellent throughout our time here. We arrived early for our reservation and grabbed seats at the bar. We were immediately greeted with a smile and extensive menus! This menu is so vast, it reminded me of the Cheesecake Factory in the best way. There is truly something for everyone here. Carnivores, vegetarians, vegans, you name it. I opted for the vegetarian "Vegetable Bowl" and my husband went for the fajitas after another guest recommended both items. The cilantro sauce and the caramelized plantains were my favorite part of the Vegetable bowl, and my husband loved every bite of his fajitas. Everything was hot, fresh, and it arrived quickly. There are a number of different dining areas here and we loved sitting in the back dining room in a comfy booth. Even though other diners were present, it felt like we had the place to ourselves because the tables are spaced far enough apart that there's plenty of personal space. No need to shout to hear your dining companions. All in all we loved Parva and look forward to coming back on our next trip to Deland.

Our server was very attentive and he continuously checked on us while not in a disruptive fashion. Will definitely make a return visit.
