First time here. Decent sized space. Lots of menu choices. Asked if they had decaf espresso beans to make a decaf lavender cappuccino since I'm pregnant. He said, "yeah we can do that" and what he brought back was basically watery coffee, nothing like a cappuccino and didn't taste like lavender. He was kind enough to exchange it when I asked him to for just plain decaf coffee. Still a little weak but better than the "cappuccino". Husband had some of thr fresh squeezed OJ. Tasted like it was squeezed sometime early that morning, but still pretty good. Upgraded the French toast on my order to the option that includes berries and some kind of cream cheese drizzle. Was sweet enough on its own that it didn't need syrup in my opinion which is good because it didn't come with any. My husband upgraded his pancakes to something similar, also didn't come with syrup but he said it could have used it. If he kept waiting until we saw our waiter his pancakes would have been cold so he did without. He did enjoy his omelet though. I think it was called a bac-ado omelet? It did have good flavor. My eggs and bacon were good. Pretty pricey for everything overall but not a bad meal.

Solid place. Came here on a Sunday with my husband. Got told the wait would be 35-40 min, even though half the tables were empty? So I'm guessing it's a staffing issue. Eventually we got seated earlier than what we were quoted because people who were in "line" weren't answering their phones when the host called them to tell them their tables were ready. Thankfully my husband and I decided to wait inside the whole time so, I think we ended up waiting only like 20 min or so. Truthfully, I think you get the best bang for your book if you get an omelette because you also get two sides that come with it. So that's what my husband and I opted for. We got two veggie omelettes with a side of hashbrowns and pancakes. The omelettes were yummy although they did need a little bit of salt and pepper, and everything was nice and hot when it came out. The hashbrowns were yummy, and the pancakes were a little bit on the smaller side, but they give you two. All in all, I was nice and satisfied at the end of my meal without feeling totally gross or over bloated, so the portions were just right for me. I think because of the staffing issue, we only ever saw our waitress twice. At the very beginning when she dropped off waters and took our order, and then at the very end when we paid our check. Otherwise, it was different people bringing us our food, and different people offering to give us more water, and no other check ins beyond that. They're actually was a point where I ran out of water and I could not find our waitress anywhere to ask for a refill. Eventually, another staff member came around refilling everybody's water. But that only happened once during our entire meal. They also have a machine where they can give you fresh squeezed orange juice, but the price is outrageous. Nine dollars for a glass? Yikes. I know it's fresh squeeze, but nearly $10 for one regular sized glass of OJ is wild. All in all, it was an OK experience. Not the best, not the worst.

Pancakes are crisped up with butter but I prefer mine a little more fluffy and less crunchy. Could grow on me lol

Great place we stumbled on and super cute! A variety of cuisines from classic American to Mexican and Turkish dishes. We had the house breakfast the chilaquiles and missing a photo of the biscuits and gravy. Very generous portions! Eggs were perfectly cooked as ordered and the staff were so very attentive! Excellent service. Only recommendation is I personally didn't like the crispy pancake but others liked so let me know what you think! Enjoy! Consider ordering and sharing unless you have a big appetite!

My friend suggested that we meet for brunch at Butterwhisk Brunch House ("BBH"). BBH is located on Highway 2222 near River Place in a strip mall. The restaurant is intimate, charming, and small in size. There are an assortment of brunch offerings including omelets, avocado toast, pancakes, waffles, benedicts, burgers, and sandwiches. We ordered the avocado toast, and meat lover's omelet. The chicken and waffles were also a welcomed item. Grits and hashbrown were our sides. The grits were tick and tasty. Hashbrowns were plenty and nicely toasted. All the food was good. However, my friend's avocado toast plate looked like it was hit by a thunderstorm when she finished eating. Half of the avocado toast had which appeared to be cotija cheese and the other half guacamole. She did not like cheese and tried eating around it. We sampled each other's food. The avocado toast was not well seasoned and rather fell flat from a taste perspective. My meat lover's omelet was the bomb diggity! While the restaurant was not full when we arrived, it quickly filled up. With that said, it took a long time for our food to be served. Avi, our server, was very attentive and checked with the kitchen periodically as well as gave us updates. Overall, a good experience, but some improvements needed.

Stop putting to-go orders in styrofoam There food is great -- but, I am not interested in eating breakfast with a side of plastic. Please stop using styrofoam. It doesn't make any sense that for sides yall use paper Togo containers and for hot mains you use styrofoam which of course melts onto peoples food! So just be-ware for to go orders....

Look at all this amazing food!

Food and service was amazing. Cant wait to go back. I wish I had known that they had authentic Turkish dishes!

Great brunch spot off 2222! Your no frills breakfast with great service. Sometimes that's all you need is a good basic cup of Jo and your traditional breakfast options. Had a classic 2 egg plate and pancakes. Delish. Came right on a Saturday morning , no wait. Great indoor aesthetics!

Really good food... had the Southwest Bowl and it was amazing. I'd highly recommend and will be back.

Overall good food. The only thing to complain about is that the service was really slow - we had to flag down the waitress a couple of times for water refills and to get the check. 2/3 plates the food was already almost cold. Still good food and very tasty, but they need to time better or just bring it out when it's ready. I will try this place again!

Kids Breakfast Pancake (and Breakfast Sandwich in the back)

The perfect addition to the four points area. After watching this place get built for the past year, we were excited to give it a try. We showed up right at open (at 8am) on a Saturday. Clearly, we were not the only ones who had this idea, because three other families with kids were also there, ready to go. The menu is simple and easy with a great assortment of items. What really stood out to us though was the kids meal. These days, most kids meals give one fried or unhealthy item and move on. I loved how the each kids meal came with an egg and protein. I know most kids probaby won't touch these, but having the option is great. Our son loved munching on some bacon and eggs with his pancake. We also ordered the breakfast sandwich and avocado toast. Both were absolutely perfect (and I'll never complain about a big plate of crispy potatoes with my meal. To top it off, the staff were wonderful. All were friendly and inviting, especially with so many kids around.

So glad we have a breakfast/brunch/lunch spot close by now! The staff is super friendly here. The first time we went, We told our waitress it was our first time in and she had suggestions and explained the menu a bit. Service has been very fast too. They do have a good amount of seating for the size of the location. There are booths and tables both. The menu has a lot of different options for both breakfast or lunch. The avocado toast is very filling. One of my favorites I've had anywhere. The pancakes were also cooked well. They do offer flavored pancakes and waffles too. The waffle machine was down the second time in so i tried the Nutella on a pancake instead and they were very good. We got the cinnamon roll pancakes but sadly it didn't really taste like a cinnamon roll. The eggs, bacon, French toast and biscuits and gravy all were very good! They do have regular sodas there as well. New favori

Honestly, some of the worst I've ever received at any establishment. Common to sit at a table for thirty minutes+ before anyone even greets you, or wow...serve you. Be prepared to sit and watch the waitresses hangout with other tables and chit chat away. Catch their eye and wave them over, perhaps? Sure, but you're still going to have to wait until they're ready. The outdoor tabletops are always filthy. I'm kicking myself that I've missed out on the last 5 years! So obviously this is my first time in. I walked in, not knowing what to expect. A lady behind the bar made eye contact with me, greeted me & said sit wherever you want. A lot of tables were taken. There were a couple open, But I'm solo, so I sat up at the bar. Another lady came over and started chatting with me like we were old friends, which I love. God Bless Texas! She was telling me everything is good, you're not going to be disappointed. Burgers are fabulous. And so on. Once she said waffles, I was in! She wondered off cleaning and helping other patrons. I looked over the menu, saw chicken and waffles. I was sold! A young man came over and asked if I had a drink in mind. I said yes. Mexican Coke. Would you believe I've never had Mexican Coke before. It's true. This was my first, right here at Texas Toast Breakfast and Burgers. Memories being made. To be honest, I don't drink soda much at all. I also said I was ready with my food order too. Chicken and waffles. He said good choice, it's a big Texas shaped waffle (love it) with a big piece of fried chicken. He put my order in and gave me my Coke in a bottle. No fountain type drink. Felt like an 80's Coke commercial with a real glass bottle. Feeling fancy. Since I'm solo, I put my ear phones in and listened to my own music. A little Lenny Kravitz, American Women, if you're interested in what I was listening to. My plate came out, and Oh ! My ! Word !!! Chicken & waffle big as my plate. I nearly cried, gasped, unbelievable! Seriously, this was a solid breakfast, and now I'm really bummed I've missed out for 5 years! I joined the clean plate club even though I was completely stuffed. Chicken was tender, juicy, hot and fried perfectly. Light crispy, not greasy. So, so good. The waffle was light & fluffy, but once I smeared the butter on it and soaked it with syrup, I put the chicken back on top of the waffle and cut away at both. Solid breakfast. Completely epic. Enjoyed every bite. Was in my own little world with my music and good food and an amazing Mexican soda. The service, way top notch. I felt like family. The young man that took my order, Alvaro M, totally chill with me, we talked a little about ourselves. And that I never knew this was here even though I drive by on 620 for work. Truly, great service. As a solo diner, it's nice to have human contact. Even though I had my ear phones in 1 ear, so I could still hear and interact. Had the best service, food, interaction. Couldn't have asked for a better first impression. Can't wait to come back. Parking lot is pretty large. So you shouldn't have a problem finding a place. This seems like an off the beat residential neighborhood with a lot of RV parks, and boat launching area. Like I said, hidden gem!
