Hubby had the Anatolian Breakfast and an hour later he is still screaming, "Damn! That was Good!" every ten minutes. The juice was heavy on the Ginger with a zing. The pancakes were light and fluffy with crispy edges and the most crispy succulent bacon. Solid place. Came here on a Sunday with my husband. Got told the wait would be 35-40 min, even though half the tables were empty? So I'm guessing it's a staffing issue. Eventually we got seated earlier than what we were quoted because people who were in "line" weren't answering their phones when the host called them to tell them their tables were ready. Thankfully my husband and I decided to wait inside the whole time so, I think we ended up waiting only like 20 min or so. Truthfully, I think you get the best bang for your book if you get an omelette because you also get two sides that come with it. So that's what my husband and I opted for. We got two veggie omelettes with a side of hashbrowns and pancakes. The omelettes were yummy although they did need a little bit of salt and pepper, and everything was nice and hot when it came out. The hashbrowns were yummy, and the pancakes were a little bit on the smaller side, but they give you two. All in all, I was nice and satisfied at the end of my meal without feeling totally gross or over bloated, so the portions were just right for me. I think because of the staffing issue, we only ever saw our waitress twice. At the very beginning when she dropped off waters and took our order, and then at the very end when we paid our check. Otherwise, it was different people bringing us our food, and different people offering to give us more water, and no other check ins beyond that. They're actually was a point where I ran out of water and I could not find our waitress anywhere to ask for a refill. Eventually, another staff member came around refilling everybody's water. But that only happened once during our entire meal. They also have a machine where they can give you fresh squeezed orange juice, but the price is outrageous. Nine dollars for a glass? Yikes. I know it's fresh squeeze, but nearly $10 for one regular sized glass of OJ is wild. All in all, it was an OK experience. Not the best, not the worst. read more

Honestly, it's decent! The food was good and the place felt clean. The service was fairly fast. The staff and the ambiance felt... off. It's almost like someone looked on Pinterest and created a wish list for "Kitchy Breakfast Vibe" and just implemented whatever they found. The ambiance is far from genuine and the staff don't seem to have too much knowledge on what they actually serve... but the food was pretty good! Incredible? No. But you get what you order and it's good. Does it compare with other breakfast locations? Absolutely not. But for being on of the only true "diners" in this area, it is good in a pinch. Will I go back? Probably not. Sadly they need more creative and impactful dishes that set them apart. There just isn't a reason to go back unless I'm really hungry. First time here. Decent sized space. Lots of menu choices. Asked if they had decaf espresso beans to make a decaf lavender cappuccino since I'm pregnant. He said, "yeah we can do that" and what he brought back was basically watery coffee, nothing like a cappuccino and didn't taste like lavender. He was kind enough to exchange it when I asked him to for just plain decaf coffee. Still a little weak but better than the "cappuccino". Husband had some of thr fresh squeezed OJ. Tasted like it was squeezed sometime early that morning, but still pretty good. Upgraded the French toast on my order to the option that includes berries and some kind of cream cheese drizzle. Was sweet enough on its own that it didn't need syrup in my opinion which is good because it didn't come with any. My husband upgraded his pancakes to something similar, also didn't come with syrup but he said it could have used it. My friend suggested that we meet for brunch at Butterwhisk Brunch House ("BBH"). BBH is located on Highway 2222 near River Place in a strip mall. The restaurant is intimate, charming, and small in size. There are an assortment of brunch offerings including omelets, avocado toast, pancakes, waffles, benedicts, burgers, and sandwiches. We ordered the avocado toast, and meat lover's omelet. The chicken and waffles were also a welcomed item. Grits and hashbrown were our sides. The grits were tick and tasty. Hashbrowns were plenty and nicely toasted. All the food was good. However, my friend's avocado toast plate looked like it was hit by a thunderstorm when she finished eating. Half of the avocado toast had which appeared to be cotija cheese and the other half guacamole. She did not like cheese and tried eating around it. We sampled each other's food. The avocado toast was not well seasoned and rather fell flat from a taste perspective. My meat lover's omelet was the bomb diggity! While the restaurant was not full when we arrived, it quickly filled up. With that said, it took a long time for our food to be served. Great place we stumbled on and super cute! A variety of cuisines from classic American to Mexican and Turkish dishes. Two recent weekend visits, both on weekend mornings with other people. Food and service were great. One time the coffee was fresh and excellent. The second time, the coffee was not so fresh. I highly recommend trying this place out. My food was delicious, and the other people at my table said that their food was also excellent. One thing that should absolutely be changed -- the baskets of various condiments on each table that everyone paws through. This is a real problem. I was a waitress for many years myself. The perfect addition to the four points area. After watching this place get built for the past year, we were excited to give it a try. We showed up right at open (at 8am) on a Saturday. Clearly, we were not the only ones who had this idea, because three other families with kids were also there, ready to go. The menu is simple and easy with a great assortment of items. What really stood out to us though was the kids meal. These days, most kids meals give one fried or unhealthy item and move on. I loved how the each kids meal came with an egg and protein. I know most kids probaby won't touch these, but having the option is great. Our son loved munching on some bacon and eggs with his pancake. We also ordered the breakfast sandwich and avocado toast. Both were absolutely perfect (and I'll never complain about a big plate of crispy potatoes with my meal. To top it off, the staff were wonderful. The first time we went, We told our waitress it was our first time in and she had suggestions and explained the menu a bit. Service has been very fast too. They do have a good amount of seating for the size of the location. There are booths and tables both. The menu has a lot of different options for both breakfast or lunch. The avocado toast is very filling. One of my favorites I've had anywhere. The pancakes were also cooked well. They do offer flavored pancakes and waffles too. The waffle machine was down the second time in so i tried the Nutella on a pancake instead and they were very good. We went there at 9:30 AM hoping for a good breakfast. The man at the welcome desk didn't greet us, but headed over to a booth and threw two menus on the table. No offer of water or coffee. Our first inclination was to walk out, but we stayed. After some time a waitress, who was very nice, offered us some coffee and water and took our orders. The coffee is AWFUL! If the kitchen is effectively closed earlier than advertised, that should be clearly communicated -- either with updated hours or signage -- instead of seating guests and then refusing service. Ehhhhh....2.5 stars is probably more accurate. Food was actually pretty good, but the service is really bad. Our waitress was friendly but we only saw her twice. Once to take our order and she stopped by one more time after our food was delivered. We had to flag someone else down to pay our tab. I doubt we will go back. You can get food that's just as good (or better) with WAY better service right down the road. Checked this place out for brunch with family. We were pleasantly surprised that although they didn't take reservations, we only had to wait 15 minutes for a table for four. The decor was so cute! It had a trendy farmhouse vibe and I appreciated that they didn't have music blasting so that even though it was busy, we could still have a conversation without shouting. We all ordered eggs Benedict of some kind. Two of us got the French Benedict which was served on a croissant. It was crispy and the eggs were perfectly poached. We also enjoyed the classic eggs Benedict, which was very good! All in all this was a great choice for a breakfast spot! Worth: the cost of the dishes was pretty standard for most breakfast/brunch spots. The food was well worth the cost. Drinks: the table got coffee, and water only. Service: we were served by Judith, and she was very attentive & friendly! She was personable, came and checked on us multiple times, and was very quick to accommodate any of our needs. Amazing place. My 2 daughters have lived in the neighborhood for 2 + years and I have never seen this place. Yelp directions are off so this is next to Hot word and Howdy donuts. My husband had a Bacon avocado omelette which came with 2 sides ( he chose fresh fruit and pancakes). He said it was perfect- some places have too thick of egg and the fresh spinach and great cheese was the right proportions not to drown out the other balance. I had a southern benedict which was sausage, egg and gravy over a muffin and the side I chose was hssbrowns. So much food for a reasonable price. A very cute sit down restaraunt with table service. I got one of the eggs Benedict and the hollandaise sauce was meh and the dish overall was mediocre. On my most recent visit, both of my parents' dishes were extremely salty. My dad had the smoked salmon Benedict and the lox was so salty that I couldn't have more than one bite when I tried it. He ate it to be polite but didn't enjoy his meal. My mom had the Mediterranean omelette and the gyro was also very salty. She ended up picking around the meat and the olives. We ordered biscuits to help cut the salt, but even those were salty! On the plus side, my blueberry pancakes were delicious and the service was great! My takeaway is to skip anything with meat and stick with the pancakes or eggs. I came here for lunch this afternoon, it was fairly busy when we arrived but about half the tables had cleared out by the time we got our food. Once we were seated it took about 10 minutes for a server to come around. We ordered our food and drinks at that time. My girlfriend's order came with eggs and the server didn't ask how she wanted them prepared. They came out scrambled. Drinks took another 10 minutes to come out but food took 45 MINUTES. During that 45 minutes, our server came to our table once only to apologize that the food wasn't out yet. She did not offer refills. Finally got our food and was unimpressed. The hollandaise sauce was incredibly unappetizing. It looked like microwave melted cheese. On top of that, there was a large piece of eggshell in it. Once we were finished, we waited another 10-15 minutes to pay. Our server was nowhere in sight so we had to flag down another one. This was, without exaggeration, the worst dining experience I've ever had. If I could give negative stars, I would. read more

However, I ordered the Belgian waffle and it was cold on the inside and warm on the outside. It tasted like those Belgian waffles you get from the grocery store, so I am assuming it made it in house. How else would it be cold on the inside, like ice cold. That is enough for me not to go back to this place, if a breakfast joint is selling premade grocery store frozen waffles for $14. I can get that at home. Another bummer was our server knew nothing about the menu. Told us it was his second day, but know trainer? Also, never saw any management on the floor. He couldn't answer any questions. Even simple ones like is the sausage a link or pattie? Do you have hot tea? Do you have brown sugar?
