I just wanted to give a shout out to Daisy at Button Rock Bakery. We had ordered a GF cake which ended up being not very good. When I called to talk about our experience, she was very understanding and helpful. She gave us a full refund on the cake, provided some free treats, and took back the cake to figure out what had gone wrong. The lesson here is that no business is perfect, but they should always stand behind their work and provide great customer service. Well done! I had a referral to use Button Rock Bakery to make my daughter's wedding cake. I made an appt. with the baker Alana to go over what I was envisioning. Of course I had to pay $22.00 for a half hour consult. When I arrived I was asked to be seated at a table that was covered in sticky stuff and leftover food, she made no effort to clean it up or move to different table. I sit down and " she" starts telling me not asking me what I am even thinking as far as a cake goes. She keeps talking on top of me, not even listening to what I'm trying to convey to her. She slams down a styrofoam example and I'm trying to tell her that's not the size or shape of what I'm thinking & she straight out let's me know that no matter whether I'm feeding all the guests or just the bride and groom the base amount would be $320 without any decoration whatsoever. If I wanted anything special it would be more like $500. I didn't feel like this was a consultation it was a loud harsh woman not being anything close to professional and didn't care at all what kind of cake or what my vision was, it was just her telling me .... surprised she wasn't snapping her fingers to get thru it quicker. It was an incredibly dirty establishment, rude baker, and the biggest waste of time. read more

Button Rock Bakery is as good as it gets! After a completely lovely tasting, we ordered our wedding cake for a ceremony that was up in Estes Park. They delivered it and put the final floral decorations on it up there. It was simply beautiful and delicious through and through. We highly recommend Button Rock for bakery goods. We celebrated a 90th birthday and ordered a full sheet cake lemon with lemon butter cream icing and filling, a marble cake with chocolate butter cream icing and filling, and an almond cake with butter cream icing and filling and they were delicious and fresh. Everything I've tried here has been good so far! All of their GF options, especially the cookies and cinnamon rolls, are amazing and barely even taste GF! If you really want bang for your buck, get the day old cookies, they're so inexpensive and honestly just as good as fresh ones. The tartes and specialty desserts like that are really great too, and packaging is cute. I'm so lucky to be able to live and work near here! read more

I called them 15 days before my daughter's 4th birthday party, I explain to them that I wanted a chocolate birthday cake and vanilla cake Pops I also send them an email with some pictures so they could have an idea of what I wanted. They told me it was no problem. After that I send them a few emails and called them two times to see if everything was ok. The day of the party ( party was at 3pm) they call me and told me the cake will be done at 5pm. So I had to cancer and my baby girl didn't have a cake for her birthday. Worse bakery EVER!!! I made one purchase here and it was a bust and incredibly overpriced. I purchased a dozen cookies (at $1.75 EACH!!!!) for a party and hardly anyone hate them. I tried them myself and realized why they weren't being eaten. I could bake better cookies myself at home with the help of some cheap Nestle cookie dough. I was super disappointed I wasted my time and money at this bakery. I was very hopeful but I will definitely not be back. All their other bakery items seemed much more expensive than the cookies too. Sure hope they taste better than the cookies for the prices they're charging! UPDATE 7/2/17: To reply to the comments from the business below. I do not have any desire to call you nor come in again. We decided to get a cake from Button Rock Bakery for our wedding, and boy, were we amazed at every turn. First, Lauren sat down with us in an upstairs room and had us sample the different flavor combinations. They made a few cupcakes and gave us icing to try different combinations, all of which were delicious. We also told her what our design was that we wanted, and how we're trying to not go over budget. She recommended getting a 2-tiered cake, with a sheet cake to serve the rest of the guests. The price really helped us stay under budget. She delivered the cake to the wedding, and when we saw it, it was beautiful, tasted amazing, and all of our guests were happy with it. Staff were so unhelpful today. I asked a simple question about a soy allergy and cashier had to go back to the Baker in the kitchen 5x , still not providing a clear answer. I believe that staff should be clear on what ingredients are included in cakes. Especially when a consumer communicates allergy needs. I picked up a few items yesterday to give indulgence replacement a try. The wedding cake cookies were amazing with just the right amount of nuts. They melted in my mouth. The double chocolate cupcake. I picked up for my son-in law, he loved it creamy chocolate frosting whipped on the top and moist cake inside. The was the eclair for my daughter, she love the silky smooth chocolate on the top and the creamy inside. I will be back. I would definitely give this place a try. read more

They were horribly misshapen and taste just like store bought cupcakes. They were almost entirely chocolate too. Very disappointed and threw almost all of them away.
