    Roasted Butternut Squash Salad
    Erin H.

I visited Buttonwood Grill while spending the day at Peddlers Village with friends during the Peach Festival. They had some limited-time, peach-themed dishes and drinks for the Peach Festival. We had a reservation, so we shopped a bit while waiting about 20-30 minutes for our table. We split the wings and pretzel sticks. I had a Hugo Spritz (St. Germain, mint simple syrup, prosecco, soda) and the Roasted Butternut Squash Salad with mixed greens, Bibb lettuce, dried cranberries, toasted almonds, goat cheese, and cider vinaigrette. I wished the butternut squash was a little softer. Our waitress was super friendly and enthusiastic. We sat outside on the deck but it was very sunny and hot. While I wouldn't necessarily plan a full meal here, I'd go back for a quick bite or a drink while shopping.

Food was outstanding. Wait staff were very friendly, food came out fast. Had the peach salad but changed the dressing to citrus honey. My son had the kids pizza and he loved it. My daughter had the Cesar salad would've like more dressing. Husband had Mediterranean burger enjoyed it very much.

We have been here multiple times, with a large group and just 2-4 people and it's always consistently good. Service and food is wonderful. Prices are fair, especially for being in a major tourist spot at Peddlers Village.

Food was so delicious! The harvest pasta was so filled with flavor and filling, burgers were juicy and overflowing with toppings. The service was exceptional and I would highly recommend paying a visit when in the area. It was very family friendly and the fireplace is a nice touch!

Always very busy. Staff is beyond friendly, or at least our waitress was. The food was prepared in a very timely manner despite the crowd. It cost under $100 for four of us to eat including an appetizers to start. The restaurant is always dimly lit which is odd for a lunch, but the area and the restaurant are pleasant nonetheless. Most places in Peddler's village are very expensive, but for the price this was very fair. We will likely be back to try more soon.

We requested the pub room for a party of 9! It was a celebration of our marriage with our grown children. It took about 15 minutes to have someone come greet us at the table. Which was after my daughter went to the host stand to ask if anyone knew we were there. Our silverware was then dropped off at the table. Food was good as it always is. I just feel more time can be spent on making the consumer feel like someone wants them there. Silverware should have been clean, rolled and set. And silverware should match!

Delicious food. Quick service and kind waitresses. I really liked sitting out on the patio, but the bees were unbearable. Next time I will opt to sit inside. They have two different hosts for inside and outside. The wait for outside is longer, which is to be expected. I waited an hour, but we were able to check out some of the shops at peddlers village.

This place is incredible! We weren't gonna after we walked in, seemed like an "early bird special" kinda crowd. SO glad we did. We met our server, and she convinced the whole table to get burgers and not gonna lie, it was the best burger of my LIFE. Their seasonal drink menu was great too. I tried the cranberry mule and it was a good balance of cranberry and vodka with a little spicy kick. I'm sad this place is on the other side of the state, but I'll be back next time I'm in town! Happy Eating!

Sat_11/1/25,Lunch, 1:15pm, 2 adults_Waitlisted when we arrived at 12:30. Seated in main dining rm lower level at 1:10pm. Place was buzzing and packed! Our server (Jillian) was very friendly and took excellent care of us! We drank Caramel Apple Sangria 10/10, Vanilla Cider Mimosa 4/10 (lacked flavor). It was painful to lose $12 on the Mimosa! Started with Carrot Ginger Soup 10/10, Entree for both of us was Harvest Apple Burger (with fries) 10/10. HIGHEST MARKS to the chef and kitchen staff for this food!! It was tough having to skip dessert, but we both were COMPLETELY STUFFED after our feast! Love the pub restaurant atmosphere and we look forward to dining here again!!

We had reservations for lunch for two couples. We were seated in a nice area of the restaurant with windows which seemed nicer than the dark interior tables closer to the restrooms. The menus were dirty and wrinkled like they had been in heavy use. If you can't have clean menus it makes you wonder what else is not clean. It just doesn't set the right tone. Our server Alex was fine. She did what she had to do but never checked on us during the meal. She seemed to be handling several tables so I'm not sure if this is just a staffing issue. Our food was fine- turkey sandwich, tuna melt, burger, and ribs platter. The desserts were really good- salted caramel mousse, chocolate chip cookie, and sticky bun bread pudding. Parking is across the street. Buttonwood was fine but I would try another restaurant before returning.

*We spent the day at Peddler's Village and were famished when it was time for lunch. Buttonwood Cafe had a great ambience and was kid-friendly. They didn't give us a hard time about stroller. Great kids meal offerings. * My MIL ordered the Cheddar burger - wrong fries and forgot bacon. Corrected that by bringing potato fries. SP fries were VERY good but not hot when they arrived * Guinness burger - absolutely delicious * Kids grilled cheese with fruit: good even by adult standards * Old fashioned- generous pour * Grilled turkey okeefe style- definitely needed more apples but otherwise great. Got side of honey mustard. Dill potato salad on the side- very good.

Very welcoming place as you walk in the the front door. Very spacious place that you are not sitting up on others. And they have a nice size deck area outside. Today was 95 degrees and humid. Air conditioning was very necessary. The staff was friendly and very patient with people. My waitress was really friendly and attentive. The menu has a lot to choose from. I nice children's section of foods I went with my usual cobb salad with chicken and shrimp. Any salad made with Cole slaw is good with me. The dressing added a nice flavor to it. My granddaughter raved about her pasta. So I had to try it. And yes, it was really good for just pasta. The burger was huge and cooked to a perfect need rare. This is a very family style restaurant. Room for big family gatherings if need a place with great food.

Buttonwood Grill has great burgers and I love their pickles! Food is a bit pricey to say the least, but that's pretty much most restaurants in peddlers Village... I would recommend if you're in the mood to sit down and enjoy some good American cuisine .

Beware the happy hour. Drink prices are cut in half as is the amount of liquor in the drink.

The Chef has changed since that time too, bringing a fresh new and exciting menu to the table as well as a 7 course Tasting menu you can also try - we went for the tasting at $130 pp and it was well worth it. It would be too lengthy to try to describe each dish but all but one ( the Larchmont Farm Nectarine) was extraordinary. There is a very small cocktail/wine list now. The most expensive wine being around $50 or so. If you BYO, there is a $25 corkage fee. All the staff were very friendly and informed and described each dish as it was presented. We started with a prosecco from the Veneto and some nice appetizers. This was a five course menu preceded by cocktails. The ambiance was an older farmhouse and we sat at a long table with Gail our wine presenter/expert sitting across from us. There were approximately 18 guests. The kitchen was open for us to see and aromas were pleasant . The food was outstanding and we particularly enjoyed the pappardelle and Osso Buco my wife has some leftovers. The wines were perfectly paired and we really enjoyed them all. The Nizzi Barbera was notable. Service was great and Gail was excellent providing history and explanations of all the wines. The second pairing had a bit of an issue with a corked bottle but all was made right. The chef came out as each course was served to explain the dishes and their preparation. Inside kind of feels like a farmhouse vibe with the browns and greens. The bar downstairs with the more formal seating upstairs is pretty cool. Service was good, waitress was warm and friendly; took our order timely, and wait times weren't overly long. My appetizer was forgotten at first but it was brought out a little after the meals were. I ordered the grouper finger appetizer and red snapper Provençal, and wifey had the filet mignon with sweet potato fries. My grouper fingers were light and fluffy with a touch of crisp from the coating. The snapper dish was tasty, not a fan of mushrooms but dealt with them since the overall combo of spinach, caper, and tomato went well. The fish was served skin side down, which was crispy. I get plating the accompaniments on top, but not on the skin, however should have removed the skin since it was pointless. The cookery of the fish was good, ends were a little chewy due to getting the skin crispy, but I didn't mind. The house rice was a bit mushy, but had a good flavor since the capers were also inside. Wifey's steak was cooked correctly and tasted good too. It came with bleu cheese and a butter sauce which went well with the fries and meat. She thought it was a nice meal. Overall, would return to Porterhouse if I ever visit Peddler's again.

The poutine fries had this delectable salty gravy and a good amount of meat and cheese. The shrimp tacos tasted bright and fresh. Everything was delicious. Sorry we were so hungry and I forgot to take pictures! I ordered a Blood Orange margarita, which was strong but well balanced and tasted like it was made with fresh juice--it made an excellent impression! I hate margaritas made with sweet and sour mix, and I'm pretty picky since I make my own juice mix when I make margaritas at home. I was like, "There drink game is next level." So I felt confident ordering the Strawberry Rosemary 75--but it was a big let down. It had a very chemical taste reminding me of lemon all-purpose cleaner. Usually I like gin cocktails but I didn't care for the flavor combo with this one. I hate wasting food, but I could barely take a sip without gagging. It says on the menu that it's a house favorite --and that is deceiving! Lol. The service was fantastic. Food came out in perfect timing. Our server clearly saw we were enjoying ourselves and did not rush us, and instead paced our meal well. I wish I could remember his name--but he was a lovely gentleman working 5/22. We loved the atmosphere with the plants. We would totally come back! Keep up the great work!
