Also, the floor gets unreasonably greasy to walk on about halfway through the day and stays that way for the rest of the night, so tread carefully! All of the meats on the standard AYCE menu are good/great quality. This is one of the only hot pots that does not require dipping sauce (even though I always concoct one anyways) because the broth is so permeating and flavorful. Best standard lamb I've ever had. Looking forward to trying the specialty lamb menu someday. So far it has been hard to resist the $21 midday weekday AYCE special, and the even better $17 "late night" AYCE special. Bourbon chicken is good but wow the chunks are so huge, making them difficult to eat with chopsticks. Typically in Chinese cuisine, chicken is cut to smaller bite-sized pieces to make it intuitive for chopstick users. The beef begins with a subtle flavor and then builds with every bite. I asked for medium heat on my korma (the noodle dish). It was delicious and spicy. Even though we were the only people in the restaurant, they did not check on us at all. The table next to us was not cleaned up until an hour after they left. Meat quality is subpar at best. Beef slices are either super fatty or not marbled at all. Each plate of beef tongue looks different, their quality is not very consistent. They used to bring out ice cream with the check, now you have to ask for it. I think the fact that it's not very sanitary sealed the deal for me, there are plenty of places in the area that are much cleaner. It's a bummer because this place used to be so popular (a few years ago, you have to wait 1.5-2 hours to be seated on the weekends), it's so sad that it has fallen off and I truly hope that they can bounce back.
