I like it here they have always seem friendly and pretty quick service and they have half price burgers on Sunday

We tried to be as nice as possible, but she went out of her way to be extremely rude. If you are that miserable at your job, maybe you shouldn't work with people, or just find something else. Great food, we were seated on time and well taken care of and the food was great. Most restaurants open and are fantastic when it comes to prices and food qualities. I hope they don't cut quality to preserve costs like many restaurants have done in the surrounding cities. As someone who works in the service industry as a chef, I consider myself rather qualified in the areas of reviews. I've had great reviews, and I've also had very bad reviews. One thing I can say for certain is that no one will ever be pleased. Welcome to the life in the service industry! That being said, this review strictly down the middle. I have no ax to grind with the Buzz Inn Steakhouse. I'm simply posting this hopeful they can use this review for the betterment of this establishment. My wife and I have eaten here twice. Once on opening night, and again a few days ago. The service and the quality of food was the same; pretty underwhelming, even for the Buzz Inn. You can excuse the mistakes on opening night because well, it's opening night. You will have mistakes. I.e. Raw mushrooms on a mushroom burger, cheese that hasn't melted on a grilled cheese, and overcooked roast beef on a french dip. During an opening night things are very hectic. Executive Chefs, District managers, and Kitchen managers are trying their best to navigate their new hire line cooks. It's also worth mentioning that most of these new hires are still learning a new menu, and are trying their best to apply that to their work. To give a negative review knowing that would be irresponsible on my part. Then again, after a few weeks of service, you should be able to have those bugs worked out. You should have a kitchen that is running efficiently, and know exactly who is, and who isn't your strongest line cooks. I have say, I'm not impressed. I'm still seeing instances of basic cooking skills not being applied well. Again, raw mushrooms on a mushrooms burger are unacceptable. It's excusable on opening night, but not three weeks later, and good lord, you cannot mess up on salads. Consistency is the key ingredient to any successful chain. When I go into the Buzz Inn in Everett and order the meat loaf, I expect to get the exact same plate in Granite Falls. Being In Granite Falls will give you some degree of leniency. Most of these folks are willing to give you the benefit of the doubt. They're hard working folks that do enjoy American comfort food, but there is a limit. Get it together! Sooner rather than later or you may start to see a dwindling costumer base. Good luck to you, and we'll be back in again! read more

I don't know what changed here at this location but the food service is so slow, I've waited for over 45 minutes now and still no food. Maybe they should hire more cooks! I feel sorry for the food servers not able to have tables turn fast and get more tips. read more

Me and my girlfriend used to love coming here, it's close to our place and food was always pretty good and fairly priced. Tonight changed all of that. We got seated and it took ten minutes for a server to come to our table, despite the fact we were one of three tables sat in the dining room. We had a couple get seated and order after us and they had their food brought out to them before us. Our waitress never came and checked in, and on top of that my burger was well undercooked and all she had ordered was a baked potato that was barley even lukewarm, not even warm to the touch. And to top it off they had some employee screaming "you can kill her if you want" and walking around the dining room being so loud you could have heard him from the bar. Overall was one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. I've never left a restaurant before getting the check but tonight was a first for me. Left barley enough to cover the bill on the table and walked out. Sad to write this as I mentioned before this used to be a favorite of ours. read more

I don't have high expectations to start with come on it's a regular restaurant not a fancy place so let's keep that mind, But I'm pissed First off my wife calls in Dinner for us and I get there early so I go into the bar this is the Granite Falls location. I go in to get a drink as I wait for my dinner and it's busy but not packed at all, I sit at the bar on the end right by the entrance I'm not a total jerk but come on I was there a few minutes and trust me employees walked by me and not one said hang on sorry really busy or short staffed NOTHING. I see some food come up so figured maybe mine? I get up go to the front desk and yes it's mine, I comment to the girl wow really bad service here! Not one person said hi to me when I was in the bar. She replied well fuck we are busy and slammed my recipe on the counter and stormed off. The GM comes by and I tried to tell her my complaint and she looks at me and didn't want to hear it. She was snotty ass hell Right from the start had not Even heard what I had to say! Her Name is Misty and said look You are rude and she doesn't have time to listen to my complaint and if I am not happy just contact corporate! I replied wow no customer service what so Ever here? She said nope and walked away. So here I am Never had I been treated like this and I'm not a review type of person but this one needs to be said and that GM needs to loose here job I will never eat there at that Buzz in again. To bad cuz there breakfast is actually good lol. read more

GFalls is a small town with limited options so I gave the Buzz Inn another try today. The food is still sub standard, the service still sucks, and the the prices are still ridiculously high. It's the only place in town that serves a steak but that is ALL they have to offer. read more

Bad food, bad customer service, if you complain they 86 you completely.. I was refused at door for prior issue with bartender even though I paid a 52.00 bill... Her manager sticking up for his bartenders! No more business from me and won't refer my clients either. The food sucks and your paying high price so they can pay rents on building... An interesting spot to say the least. Wasn't sure if it was going for the "college hangout" vibe or a classy steakhouse. The menu had a good variety of selections, I opted for the Baja burger with bottomless fries. The burger had WAY too much sauce and the fries weren't good enough to even finish my first place. However, the double Bloody Mary I ordered was extremely delicious. Overall 5/10. Maybe if the prices weren't so high it would be worth it. read more

We had a great time Friday at the Granite Falls Buzz Inn. Over the years, we've been to many of the Buzz locations, and found that this is one of the most attractive. Parking was easy and close, everything inside was clean and neat. The staff were responsive and personable, which made our visit even nicer. The Buzz Inn menu has quite a bit to choose from so I was a bit reluctant to order a sandwich which is not actually on their menu (but really, it should be). My request was cheerfully received without issue, and the result was awesome! Turkey, bacon, lettuce, tomato, and avocado on a well-toasted Dutch Crunch roll (forget the mayo). The crunchy texture of the toasted roll is what makes this sandwich extra special. Hubby had the Super Swiss dipper, which is another standout sandwich. It's grilled onions and mushrooms are great on that same Dutch Crunch roll. Our fries were fresh and piping hot, and our coffees kept full. The super friendly staff never had us feeling rushed, which made our afternoon completely relaxing and pleasant. We can find decent food lots of places, however people who provide great service are not so common. For those reasons, we will definitely visit again whenever we are in the Granite Falls area. We might even make it back for karaoke night -- sounds like fun! read more

Recently moved to the area and was excited to try this BUZZ INN since we love the one in Marysville. Beautiful interior, but the gal at the counter didn't even greet us, she saw us and looked away (no one else was around) when we walked in. I had to say HELLO to get her attention. We were then seated our Cranky waitress came by, we ordered and waited for 20 minutes...still no food. The waitress came by to let us know that there were a lot of to go orders and that is why the wait is long, we were fine with it. 10 minutes later.... still no food, we arrived at 10:15, it was now almost 11 and we had to be at work across town and didn't want to hurry and eat within 10 minutes so we could leave on time. We told the waiter we were sorry and we had to leave since our food STILL WASN'T ready. I highly doubt they were even preparing it, it was just biscuits and gravy. The waitress then RUDELY said: ITS FINE. She doesn't even look (??!) At us or thank us OR APOLOGIZE or just even say: have a nice day. Then she walks off. She didn't introduce herself to us in the beginning, but it was a middle aged lady with brown roots and blonde hair. We are throughly disappointed at this location and will take the extra drive to Marysville. My boyfriend and I both work as servers at restaurants, this is not how you treat customers. read more

Hash browns were cold and over medium eggs were over easy. They were good about fixing the food. But it took two tries to get it almost right. Never got the eggs right. Although it could be a difference of interpretation. My medium egg is, whites fully cooked and the yolk nice and gooy on the inside and lightly cooked on the outside if you get my drift. This is a brand new restaurant and still has that new feel to it. Just hope they can learn how to serve warm hash browns and OVER MEDIUM eggs. read more

Rude rude rude. Came in today with my fiance today, and the staff was very snotty to us the entire time. Not a single smile or anything. Just very impatient and unwelcoming. The food was mediocre at best. Fries were so hard i didnt even try to finish. Then they forgot my fiancee's order, brought out the wrong dish( after i was nearly done) then gave us attitude when we stated the order was wrong. She then went to the kitchen and loudly stated that the customer (us) ordered the wrong thing, when in reality, she put down the wrong order. Then when i was having an important phone call, another waitress was impatiently trying to rush us out, just as we finished eating. Maybe we wanted something else! I used to be a waitress myself, so I totally understand how stressful it can be, so I understand getting the order wrong. But telling us that WE are wrong? Nope. read more

Stumbled upon this place, and it was fairly good. I was surprised at how nice it was on the inside, very clean. When I arrived it was fairly slow so service was easy to get. We seated ourselves at the bar. I had the lunch special of pulled pork sandwich, that was so good! The waitress was polite and helped when I asked. Stopped in hoping to get a burger to go (10/26/16 9pm), and waited at the front order desk (they have a giant menu on the wall) to place my order. I stood there for about 5 min. hoping to be acknowledged as 2 workers walked by, ignoring me. Gave up on that and went into the bar to order. About 10 people in the bar and I sat at a table for another 12 minutes as the bartender wouldn't make eye contact with me. I was very close to the bar. I gave up and left. I walked up the block but didn't see anything else open, so I went back and sat in the same chair. Again I felt invisible and about 7 min. later she welcomed me and I ordered a deluxe burger and a beer to eat in. The burger ($8.99) was a little slow arriving, but not a biggie until I found out what took extra time. The burger was cooked about 3 times longer than it should have been. Very small, tough, nasty, unedible. It was to include onions, lettuce and tomato. A tiny sliver of onion, smaller piece of lettuce and no tomato. I gave it back to the bartender, paid for my beer and made a run for the Mcdonalds up the road. read more

We have ordered take out on a regular basis since they have come into our town. The last 5 orders, we've order "the Works". Comes with steak and two sides, toast. We order basically the same thing except my DH like his well done. they NEVER have indicated which meal is well done and which is medium which I like. We are forced to cut into the steaks to find out which is our own. (Labeling the container seems like a very simple thing to do.) They have missed giving us something in our order for the last 5 orders. I even sat down today to check and missed seeing two things that were missing: sour cream and butter. Who puts a baked potato in an order w/o those two things? The quality assurance is sincerely lacking in this place. That being said, the chefs CAN cook. Food is amazing. If they could work on QA, I'd give them a 5 star rating. When you are complaining that your order seems to be never right, as a customer you don't want to hear we have a bunch of new people, blah, blah, blah.... (well these incorrect orders is over a long span of time, not in the last few months but a couple of years.) Unless they are constantly turning over staff (which would indicate more serious issues in the restaurant) that is not a good excuse. read more

Great new place in Granite Falls. Had french dip if u like v geese be sure to ask for it. Sweet potatoes fries are awesome! We also ordered the turkey melt nothing special there 6 out of 10. Bar is VERY nice. Great place to settle in and watch a game 15tv reasonable priced drinks. Service is good very attentive, still learning the POS system but great job. Been here twice now, will definitely come back. The building is nice with pleasant décor and comfortable booths. The staff is friendly and the food is superb (at least the sirloin steak with baked potato and mixed veggies, I always get my steak well done and this is one of the few places that succeeds in keeping it tender while cooking it all the way through). Would have given it 5 stars but during our second visit the wait staff appeared as if they didn't like their job. Even if it is the case, they shouldn't make it look like it... but things happen, maybe it was just a bad day for them. Anyway, will go here again. read more

Free wifi. Sat there for twenty minutes this morning watching the hung-over patrons over served the night before pace across the vacant lot where the manager had towed their cars this morning. What a bunch of losers! I did need to go into the kitchen to see if anyone was in the place as there were no customers or employees in sight. Lucky me, their line cook was taking a break and whipped me up a sandwich in thirty minutes. They are no Denny's and might have the ambience of a methadone clinic, but give them a try: sometimes it's fun to eat like a Plebian! read more

This was my first time here and it was excellent. My husband and I came with our two kids. The steak was excellent and burgers were great. The fries are free refills, so that was a bonus. Service was excellent. Our waitress was wonderful. Best service I have had at a restaurant in a very long time. Great food and great serve- will definitely be back. :) read more

Went to buzz inn in monroe on Saturday while waiting to place my order noticed some blonde haired woman wrapping silverware in napkins right in the way where the server's get there food and also yelling at two of the server's about a to go order that was wrong and the customer was on their way back.i think she should have not been yelling at them in front of the other customers and my self that's very inappropriate. I myself think that someone needs to talk to the blonde haired woman if this how employees are treated I will never return read more

Two stars because we have been here many times, the food is typical pub food, the servers have always been friendly and it's normally a nice atmosphere. Today we stopped in and things were going just fine until two men at the bar started arguing, cussing, yelling at each other. The older man, a regular, was clearly over served, wasted and beligerant. This was 4 pm on a Sunday. No one did anything. The older man got up and started assaulting, shoving, and hitting the younger man, reaching for his throat. No one did anything. The younger man yelled at least 4 times for the older man to stop touching him and get his hands off while he did nothing but try to deflect the older mans hands. No one did a damn thing. The drunk man lost his balance and stumbled back into our table knocking all our drink over onto us. No one did anything. The old man went back for the younger man and my uncle got up to get between them. The old man wouldn't give up, grabbed my uncle by the throat and still, NO ONE DID ANYTHING! So my boyfriend grabbed the old man and pulled him to the floor. Finally, someone decided to come over.....and kick us out? Just because someone is a regular does not mean it is ok to over serve them and allow them to assault two other people. And the guy (manager?) who finally stepped in threatened to call the cops on us. Seriously? Maybe if the servers hadn't illegally over served the older man or management had stepped in when he was assaulting and trying to fight others, we wouldn't have had to take it upon ourselves to deescalate the situation. read more

The food here was incredible! We were visiting from Portland and were having a hard time finding a place to eat that was kid friendly. This place had a kids menu and was delishious. I ate the Oriental wrap. It was fairly busy that night and the service was still good. read more

The building looks good the interior finishes are nice and the fireplace is kind of cool. The problem is you don't see a waitress stay for more than a month or two. The food quality has gone down hill considerably. Today we went in and got 2 orders of biscuits and gravy and two coffees. We had to ask that the coffee get replaced because it apparently had been double brewed or something it was like drinking hot water. Then we got her biscuits and gravy and apparently they must send out the gravy with water or something. Typically the gravy has been good there but not this time it was very thin and not flavorful in the slightest. It appears every time we go there there's more and more food quality issues they have no problem sending out burnt food or overly greasy food. read more

Was in there yesterday around noon and the service was not good. Waited for 15 minutes before we were asked for drinks. Then we never saw our server again. Finally flagged down a waitress who took our order. The food came out fast but the hash browns we full of black grease from the flattop.
