Ordered a club sandwich and a side order of potato salad online, was busy at work so I just wanted to run by and pick it up and get back to work. I arrived at the window right at the time my order was supposed to be ready. I sat about 10 minutes before I was even acknowledged and then waited at least another 15 minutes until I received my order. Went there on a Friday during lunch time. They had only 3 employees working. I will say it was right after the hurricane. I hope they were just short staff. The line and food took forever. People kept coming to the register to ask if their food was ready. We waited 45min to order and 25min to get out food. This place is consistently understaffed, with the most excruciatingly longest wait times of any restaurant I've ever been to. They screwed my order up a year ago and I just had a repeat of the same. Walked in with my wife 2:00 pm on a Saturday and there was no where to sit. There was 9 tables that had not been cleaned, left with food and drinks from previous customers. Pretty crazy when there are plenty enough people working here to at least manage the dining room. What was also crazy is we ended up being the 10th table with food and drinks left. We always enjoy McAlister's Deli. The food and service are top notch. We love their Pastrami Rueben and potato salad.

The 12" French dip was barely 8 inches, the au jus was way too salty, the Mac n cheese was good.

Can't believe the lack of customer service. I waited ten minutes while the cook was staring at me, no smile, no response at all. Ended up walking out. read more

McAlusters used to be my go to deli but like everything else COVID changed, it changed McAlisters. Pre COVID portions were big and would fill you up and the food tasted like they enjoyed making sandwiches. Now, portions are smaller and the food tastes like it's been slapped together. Pretty good pastrami sandwich. Easy spot, nice old school kind of deli feel. Clean, good service and reasonably priced.

The price is right at this chain restaurant. The meal selection will satisfy most every taste. The portions are ample and very tasty. I generally like the Italian sandwich. Good selections of meat and cheese. My usual side is the very tasty potato salad. If a salad is what you want ask for a takeaway box. Salads are delicious and definitely two meals. First time at the Naples McAlister's....very disappointed ! My husband ordered the McAlister's club, I ordered the Roast Beef Club. On BOTH sandwiches the whole wheat bread was stale....like almost crusty. I've had my share of club sandwiches in my life, this one was sub-par! The bottom layer had a nice blend of meat and cheese, the second layer was just lettuce and tomato! Ditto for my husband's club. Every club sandwich I have ever had has the ingredients divided amongst the 2 layers. As far as flavor, it was meh. The best tasting part of my meal was the pickle and the potato salad. Not anxious to go back.....Sorry McAlister's but you aren't living up to what I think a deli should be. Only reason you didn't get one star is I liked your potato salad. read more

McAlister's Deli is great. I love their sandwiches, spuds, and salads. I've been doing take out for the most part, which is an interesting process. Rather than being able to drive through and order like a normal drive through, you have to call in advance to place your order. The system they use uses voice recognition to take your order so if you don't know the exact name of the item you want it might get confused. I'd personally like talking to a human more than a computer. Food wise, it's good. Very reliable. Their menu options are too many to count though, so it can be a bit overwhelming if you're new. They're located in north naples off of immokalee right across from the NCH hospital and the birth place, which is nice if you're ever at the hospital it's good food close by. read more

Horrible experience. Called in simple one sandwich order. Turkey,Provolone, Mayo, pickles and banana peppers on the side. I actually said it was for a child and reiterated peppers on side. She reads it back all wrong. I repeated the order. Pick it up and it's their stock garden turkey with jalapeños. Luckily my wife looked at it before giving it to our daughter. My wife brought it to their attention and they suggested we just take off the hot peppers. We ask them to make another sandwich and we get back 3 slices of turkey on toasted bread. Went here for lunch out on the patio and had a great time. We ordered the roast beef and McAllisters club. The wait was about 15 minutes and they brought it to our table. The furniture and decor here are top notch, it feels very fresh and clean. The sandwiches were presented well with the roast beef on a ciabatta tasting the best but included potato chips uninspiring. I wasn't that impressed with my club sandwich, it just tasted plain. The loaded baked potato was delicious. The sugar cookie had an odd lemon taste to it and the fudge brownie was far too crunchy due to the hard chocolate chips. Well we gave it awhile to get the kicks out... Sorry to say they were still around. Yes, it is like Jason's deli down the street but down graded We came on a Sunday, not too busy. They took a long time to delver a salad, sandwich and sides of veggies and the huge baked potato. They messed up on the salad dressing. The sandwich (btw they do have gluten free but you have to ask) was thin and the bread looked smashed like someone say on it. The sides were a small bowl and the potato was dry and not hot. Honey mustard dressing was good but expect more mustard taste Service was good once we got our food a couple girls were walking around that we flagged down. No napkins at the tables nor condiments The decor and setting was comfortable and more like a cafe than a diner setting. No free desert afterwards (missed the free ice cream at Jason's ) no frequent buyers clubs unless you drink tea. Prices were reasonable but not for the serving portions Not worth trying again, at least for a while. Good location and nice staff but need more to get us to return Good luck read more

When McAlister's first opened I loved ordering from there. Food was great and fresh. Staff was attentive. Over the last year that has been slipping. Today I ordered ahead on the app. When I got to the drive thru pickup window I sat and waited about 5 minutes. No acknowledgment, and I saw people working inside. I was about to give up, park, and just walk inside (which can be difficult with little ones, which is why the drive thru is so great to have) when someone finally came to the window. For my kids meal I added an apple juice, which is advertised as "Honest" brand. It was not, they gave me Mott's. They should not be advertising a brand if it is not what they intend to serve. I also ordered one of the famously large fountain drinks, Sprite, and decided to add some strawberry purée for $1 extra. And well...you can see how that went in the picture. Who ever owns this franchise really needs to get involved with the day to day operations. It took more than 10 minutes for Kobyn to take our order. Each time he got it wrong. Even after ringing up the order it was wrong! Gave him cash and it absolutely confused him. He entered that i gave him $80 cash when I actually gave him $40. He had to get a calculator out to figure out how much change he owed me. All the people waiting in line are laughing at the wait times to get their orders. And when they are get their order they seem to be incorrect. I'm watching the kitchen and during the lunch hour no one in the kitchen should be standing around. Hey, I know restaurants are short on staff but the wait time is unacceptable. Well that took more than 1/2 hr. Glad I'm retired and not on a lunch hr. And they forgot to give me my Ice Tea! Ordering online you get charged a web fee that is added to the tax. I also had trouble getting them to accept a credit card and gift card online together. I then decided to go in the store and order and the service was bad although the food was good. They forgot the pickles which was on the receipt and the supreme nachos had no avocodo. My first experience when Port Charlotte McAlister open was great that's why I went back. I spent more than $65.00 dollars and I did not eat lunch. not even the mac and cheese for my granddaughter was edible. I asked for the manager thinking maybe he gave me my money back and he offers a new sandwich and dessert that was also really dry. The experience was terrible. I'm never go back. I even need to ask for more lemonade and the place was empty. The flavors that should be in the Italian sandwich wasn't there at all, the Cuban was also terrible. what a disaster, with that money I can eat a great lunch anywhere else. Short Story: Blandest, most overpriced caesar salad wrap I've ever had. My experience with management was weirdly shady. My strange experience here drew me back into writing yelp reviews after a two year hibernation. Went there while on a business trip. Never been to a McAlisters before. Ordered a to-go order in person, and included a tip because its a new place and you hope for the best. It wasn't that busy and you could see the three young adult cooks in the back through the service window just hanging around. Personnel were getting ready to leave as it was near closing time and they all wanted to close down. I eventually got my food and I went back to my hotel room, we then realized they forgot the baked potato. By that time, the restaurant was already closed. Overall, the food was consistent with over priced wrapped premade deli food you get in an airport hallway kiosk. McAlister's is no different from other overpriced chain "deli" style places, nothing differentiates it and these places thus rely on the quality of their service. However, the shady part was when I contacted the restaurant over the internet to let them know they forgot my food (I know, I should of checked my bag while there) and I just wanted my six bucks and change back, even included my receipt information etc. I left the Naples area the next day on a flight. McAlister's deli to their credit emailed me back and said there was a gift card for me at the store. I emailed him back from a different time zone and told them I lived out of state and flew out that morning, and since I wasn't in the area if they could email me a digital code or something for future use at a McAlisters. He emailed me back and said I apparently revisited the store and had picked up the gift card. That's funny, I was on an airplane and had only visited your store once. I don't know if there ever was a gift card, I don't care at this point. It's an overpriced chain food place with shady management. McAlister's delivers consistently on good food across the board. At work we have a lunch club once a week where 1 guy buys for the others and we rotate it around weekly. There's 5 of us and we've ordered at least 1/2 dozen times if not more. Not once has any of us been disappointed with any item we ordered. So, knowing that I introduced my wife to McAlister's this past Sunday looking for a break from the fast food fries and burger, taco/burrito offerings. We dined in and had 2 delicious salads in a clean well staffed environment. The selections on the menu are impressive and the ones I've tried are quite tasty. I highly recommend McAlister's and trust you find them tasty also! read more
