SCE came out and said the wiring behind the meter was damaged and overheating. We were afraid of it catching fire, plus we had people coming over that night and we didn't have power in the kitchen and half the house. He gave us a very fair estimate and said he could do the work the same day. He immediately went out to get the parts he needed and then got right to work.
