This Byrne Dairy is just down the hill from the concert venue at a fairgrounds entrance. It was busy with the post-concert crowd, and short-staffed, but nonetheless the late-night workers kept the line moving well. We don't have Byrne Dairy at home, and stopped in with getting some grab-and-go gas station typical eats in mind. But we were pleasantly surprised to see deli ordering options. We ordered a couple of large sandwiches. They ended up not being large sandwiches--but rather HUGE SANDWICHES! The large is essentially two standard size sandwiches PACKED with tons of fresh fillings! And they were not only abundant in size, but also abundantly fresh and delicious! My husband had a roast beef and pastrami sandwich. The meat was sliced thin and PILED HIGH! I had egg salad, which was also generously scooped. Our sandwich artist was FANTASTIC--she took the time to construct the sandwich with our custom topping picks in an entirely purposeful way that helped keep the behemoth-bulk of this mega-meal intact. We brought our sandwiches back to our room, and were thoroughly STUFFED! I could only finish half, saved the other half for breakfast. My husband wolfed his whole monster, exclaiming it was one of the best sandwiches he's ever had. Sometimes the great sandwiches of our lives come from unexpected places--like this Byrne Dairy! I have to get dressed change wash up on a daily basis to continue to be able to go to work ! My job consists of customer engagement and face to face interaction so cleanliness and all that is needed . So I choose this store because it's a single bathroom I'll go in I wash up and I change as fast as I possibly can hard finish getting ready deodorant whatever I do this every single day come here numbers of times in a day to use the bathroom or grab snacks . I feel as if the employees here gawk hard at me they go into the bathroom after they see my car pull in and make me wait sometimes right now they are refusing to change toilet paper rolls literally down to the sheets left within days of using this toilet so they have yet to change the toilet paper . Sometimes when I walk out of there recently every time I walk out of there there is a Burn Dairy woman standing waiting to his bathroom knowing I just walked in there so I feel like they're doing that to stare even harder at me and you know don't judge a book by its cover I'm homeless because of my health and partial inability to work at times and my ex partner didn't hold up his end of the bargain to pay bills while I couldn't just to get this out here so that if these employees want to know what's going on and why they're welcome to this information on here and that way maybe I don't have to feel so awkward I've been living in my car since November I've been using stores bathrooms since November and not one stores ever made me feel as uncomfortable as these people do it this store want to throw this out there

And of course the one thing that if they're not noted for should be, is their milk. The white milk is good but the chocolate milk is oh my gosh incredible. I actually live about an hour down the road from this location and there have been times that on my way home from the Syracuse area I will stop at Byrne dairy to grab a half gallon of chocolate milk even though I can buy chocolate milk in any other store closer to me. I'm 5'11" 230 pounds and I am highly protected at all times. But the amount of string out people, even the staff has me fearing I might have to defend myself, my life and my truck. Anyways, it might be a good place during the day but I'll tell you right now. Late at night this place is a hellhole. I wouldn't want any girl or any man who can't protect themselves here at all. They also have a cool glass bottle milk program where they reuse the milk bottle with a 1 dollar deposit. only 10% of your plastic jugs get actually recylced so using this instead of regular grocery milk would save a substantial amount of trash The rest of the store is as expected for a convenience mart. It's pretty clean, nicer than a gas station and has a selection of bakery and hot food. The beer is a good price but most of the dry food/minimart items are marked up as expected. As a native of Southeast PA it's far from Wawa quality of convenience mart but the ice cream and glass milk programs are great and I do have to recommend.
