We asked for a shorter time since it was my daughter's spring break. At first they said it was ok but then they changed their mind. They insisted on a minimum of three weeks. I think that they run a racket on the tesla loaners and charge the insurance with luxury rentals. Their main focus was to secure as much money they could procure for themselves ignoring all the requests of the customers. In total they took around $12,000 for a repair of less than $2000 for an average paint shop. (they tell everyone a minimum of three weeks!)

Suddenly, on December 5, they emailed demanding the loaner back immediately and threatened a police report for "failure to return a rental vehicle." I called their rep (Alfonso), who said he would extend the loaner--he never followed up. That evening, the loaner was remotely disabled (Valet Mode) while I was driving, stranding me overnight in 20°F snowy/rainy weather on a busy DC street. I had to pay for towing myself to avoid freezing. The next morning (December 6), they called police (Rockville and Prince George's County), claiming I failed to return the rental. They also told officers my Florida license was "fake" or fraudulent. Police cleared me immediately. I repeatedly explained my disabilities (immune-compromised, OCD, ADHD, anxiety) and asked for accommodations to get my medication and belongings from the loaner (less than ¼ mile away at a friend's house). They refused and left me stranded without transportation or meds ever since. Now they demand over $14,000 in storage/rental fees--almost as much as the repair estimate--yet no work was ever done on my car. I have video, emails, bills, and records. This was unsafe, unprofessional, and unacceptable. Avoid if you value safety and clear communication.

The repair adjuster, Wayne Mathis, was rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. His customer service was terrible, and he spoke to me in a disrespectful manner. It also seemed like he was telling my insurance company that certain repairs were unrelated, which, from my perspective, appeared to be an attempt to avoid repairing them. Based on my experience, he should not be dealing with customers. If he hates his job that much, he should leave instead of taking it out on customers. Management should seriously reconsider whether someone who treats customers this way should continue representing the company. The front desk and repair department were disorganized, communication was poor, and getting updates or straight answers was nearly impossible. After wasting almost a month of my time, I had no choice but to pick up my truck and take it to another repair shop. This was one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had.
