My car looks brand new again! The entire process was smooth, the staff was easy to work with, and the workmanship was excellent.

I normally don't leave reviews, but out of all the experiences I've had with insurance claims and auto body repairs, this was by far the worst. I took my 2021 Audi Q5 to Caliber Collision for body work after a hit and run. The damage was to the driver-side door, mirror, and wheel fender. I dropped the car off on September 29th and was notified on October 17th that it was ready for pickup. Upon receiving the vehicle, I immediately noticed the replacement fender was the wrong part and did not fit correctly (visible overlap), paint bubbles on the driver door, scratches on the newly painted door, the interior was still dirty and had soap residue left on the leather seats, despite being told the car was washed, and scratches on the mirror. Shortly after, I received a customer survey from Caliber that I answered honestly based on the repairs. My adjuster, Josue, then contacted me and asked me to bring the vehicle back so they could reevaluate the work. When I arrived, both the adjuster and manager were waiting and apart from acknowledging the quality issues, my adjuster expressed that he was upset with my survey responses in front of his manager. He told me I should have let him "handle it," essentially gaslighting me for giving truthful feedback instead of addressing the poor repairs. I left the vehicle again and was told repairs couldn't be completed because the correct part was back-ordered. It is now January 9th, I have called multiple times and have received no updates, no timeline, and no returned calls. The same adjuster who was upset about the survey has now ignored my calls twice. At this point, I was forced to involve my insurance again and have been reassigned to a new body shop to fix the mistakes Caliber Collision made. This has been the most frustrating experience I've had dealing with an auto body repair facility and I would not recommend this location to anyone especially if you expect your vehicle returned in pre-loss condition. read more

I had my vehicle at this shop for nearly a month, and it was barely touched. Throughout the process, I felt like my concerns meant absolutely nothing and that the only opinion that mattered was the insurance company's. The repair adjuster, Wayne Mathis, was rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. His customer service was terrible, and he spoke to me in a disrespectful manner. It also seemed like he was telling my insurance company that certain repairs were unrelated, which, from my perspective, appeared to be an attempt to avoid repairing them. Based on my experience, he should not be dealing with customers. If he hates his job that much, he should leave instead of taking it out on customers. Management should seriously reconsider whether someone who treats customers this way should continue representing the company. The front desk and repair department were disorganized, communication was poor, and getting updates or straight answers was nearly impossible. After wasting almost a month of my time, I had no choice but to pick up my truck and take it to another repair shop. This was one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had. They took their time explaining every step of the process, and called several times to keep me updated on the timeline. They even washed my car and cleaned the inside after they were done. I came here after scraping the side of my parking garage wall because they worked with my insurance. My car was put back together incorrectly. My passenger seatbelt does not work and the interior side panel just fell off when I tried to adjust the seatbelt. It took 11 days to repair 2 wheels and repaint a couple panels. This shop takes on WAY too much work. It should not have taken this long to begin with, and it should have been done correctly after this much time. I'm upset I need to return to get this fixed. I will say customer service has been great, but it's frustrating when the repair isn't done right the first time. read more

This was the worst body shop that I've ever used by far. I was in a collision that was the other driver's fault, and her insurance company, Travelers, picked up the claim. I chose Caliber because it was recommended by Travelers and was nearby. They had me wait a week to bring it in, so they could get all of the parts. Fair enough. I brought it in as soon as they gave me the ok, which was Nov 19th, eight days after the accident. After a week, I called them to see if my car was ready. I was told they were still waiting for parts. I didn't get it back until mid Dec 10. When I got it back, I scheduled an oil change and tire rotation with my dealer. I couldn't get in until Dec 30th. So for less than 2 weeks I drive it. But during that time I had flown to visit my family over Xmas. I brought it in for service the day after I returned. That's when the REAL. Trouble started! The dealer told me the alignment job was so bad I shouldn't be driving it. Also, bolts were missing, a strut was bad, and the headlight was replaced with a non-functioning reconditioned LED light. The light alone is nearly $1,00 in parts and labor. Travelers wouldn't pay to restore my car because it had already paid the claim. I had the car towed from the dealership to Caliber, hoping they would honor their "guarantee." So far, no luck. I have been driving a rental car for 4 weeks, not including the accident--just their botched job. Now I'm hiring an attorney. read more

The road-rage, driver's insurance company suggested I go here for repairs that was not my fault. Kevin, the Caliber Collision manager is a dishonest and evil person to communicate with. His demeanor and tone is difficult to comprehend when he is bluntly untruthful with his words. He promised to view the security video footage to locate the individuals that replaced my expensive, recently installed headlamp bulbs with cheap, defective bulbs but never responded to my request. This is without a doubt the worst shop you can bring your car to for repairs, the receptionist is quite annoying, he doesn't help, he doesn't collaborate with what you ask him, and the estimator doesn't know how to communicate with customers, my car has been in the shop for over a month and I haven't received a single call from him, giving me updates on the car, and I try to contact him and they never answer, they just say they will call you and they don't!! DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE. AT A MINIMUM THEY WILL RUIN YOUR CARS VALUE, IF NOT MAKE IT UNSAFE. PICTURE PROOF INCLUDED. Few places really deserve a one star and this is one. They were referred to me by my insurance company. What a process this has been. First the repairs were shabby. I took it to a real mechanic before selling it to make sure it was in good shape. He pointed out all the errors. Dripping paint on front, didn't mark out scrap yard part number, horrible wiring that didn't follow original, and best of all they failed to fix it. They were held liable for a failure of a repair. Then they didn't follow their claim at all of guaranteeing their work making me work with my insurance company to force them to take accountability. Horrible customer service. Main service consultant was mean, rude, unprofessional, unknowledgeable, and demeaning. I could not have been more insulted by the whole process. The restoration of the car was perfect and the job was done in a shorter amount of time than I anticipated. Two or three years ago Caliber replaced a broken door handle on the driver side of my 2000 Corolla. Raphael was extremely helpful in getting the job done promptly and well. The handle on the passenger broke recently and I took the car back to Raphael and Caliber. Again they did a professional job in replacing the handle. What particularly pleased me was the charge for replacing the handle was the same as the earlier replacement. read more

The folks at caliber collision are amazing! I'm always worried about finding a trustworthy place that's not going to rip me off and Kevin, Rafael and Ruth were so helpful and friendly. I had to bring my moms car in after she got into a minor accident. My mom lives in Texas and I live in DC. Ruth was so helpful in coordinating between me and my mom. I had insurance claim work performed by Caliber. My customer service rep, Dora, was very good. The quality of the work seems excellent. There was an accidental double charge on the estimate that I caught, but they also did some additional repair and touch up for free to the parts affected by the insurance claim. They have a nice online tool to keep you updated on the progress of the work. All around a very good experience, I would use them again. read more

Their COVID protections were fully reassuring, to begin with. The person who reviewed my car was thorough and told me throughout what he was seeing and was clear about what might be hidden from view. Tremendous service! My front bumper big plastic piece snapped off last week by accident when it got caught on a bush when I was backing up. All sorts of screws and snaps popped out and I had a very difficult time trying to snap it back in by myself. I took my JEEP to a few body shops last week as well as the dealership where I leased the car, and most of them quoted me $200+ to fix it and one place even said I had to order a brand new piece which is about $300 itself, not to mention the labor. I decided to check out Caliber Collision today to see what they thought and they told me they thought they'd be able to fix it for free! I couldn't believe it. 10 minutes later out came my car with the piece secured perfectly and they even used some of their existing snaps to secure it in place.
