He saw to my issue immediately, and after the adjustments were made, I fully expected to at least pay for his time and labor, but to my surprise, they did not charge me a Dime for their service and I was on my way in less than 5 minutes. I left feeling very impressed with the immediate attention to my bike needs as well as for their complimentary service. On today, it was my intention to stop by, but this time for a brake inspection and/or possible service, and again, no disappointments whatsoever. They took my ebike in and diagnosed the issue, and within 30 minutes I was back on the road. These guys are very friendly, honest, knowledgeable, with fast convenient service, and reasonable prices. However, I abhor their customer service. I bought a used pair of Terra 9s from eBay. After the brake fell off while in use (thankfully I was able to drag my skate to stop and wasn't hurt), I searched the internet and found out these skates had been recalled: http://www.cpsc.gov/en/Recalls/2006/LandRoller-Inc-Recalls-to-Repair-Roller-Skates/ When I tried to contact the company about the recall, I received no response. I finally had to do an email carpet bomb to all the common email addresses (info@, sales@, support@, abuse@, postmaster@, webmaster@...) before getting in touch with a representative, Barbie Johnson. She assured me that my skates were not part of the recall, and that the brake falling off was just bad luck and a loose bolt. So I asked about getting a replacement brake, and she assured me that the brake for the current model (Mojo) would fit my Terra 9 skates. So I sucked it up and ordered the $7 pad plus tax and an outrage-inducing $15.24 shipping. I told them in the comments field to ship via a USPS priority mail envelope, and they took me up on my advice (but still kept the additional $10 shipping. You're welcome.) And I would have been happy for them to do so since they did ship 2 brake pads instead of just one. But... THE MOJO BRAKE PAD DOES NOT FIT THE TERRA 9 SKATE. This passive, ignorantly homophonous response completely deflects responsibility and leaves me absolutely no options. So my skates are now useless because Landroller cannot support their own product by selling me an essential piece of safety gear. I asked Barbie to let me return the brakes for a full refund. But despite my explicit request 3 weeks ago, a return authorization code and return shipping label have yet to appear. So I contested the charge with my credit card company. At this point I don't care how much better these skates are than Rollerblades. With customer service like this, I refuse do business with them.

I looked in the window and saw bikes, skateboards, clothing, iced tea, and ecofriendly attachments for your Iphone. I looked deeper into the store and observed a very cool shirt which had a multicolored fish next to a multicolored fish surfboard and thought it was worth me coming back when the store was open to check out exactly what this store had to offer. Yesterday (11-23-2012) I found myself again at Javaman and this time 'Wicked' was open. I walked in and observed all of their clothing to be preshrunk organic cotton. I asked the gentleman behind the cash register if they still had the shirt I was looking at several weeks ago, he said they did but the only size left was a medium and I needed a large. I still tried on the shirt in the bathroom / changing room and discovered it to just be a little too small and with a price tag of $39.00 a shirt has got to fit me perfect for me to invest that much coin on a shirt. The cashier said the shirt I wanted was out of stock and they could not order anymore which was a disappointment but quite honestly I am not sure I would have paid $39.00 for a t-shirt even if they had my size. I walked around the store and checked out several other items they had to offer from books on surfing, to ecofriendly shoes & sandals, I did not find anything that I felt the urge to buy. I thanked the cashier for his time and left. This store is located right next to Javaman & a Jiu-Jitsu studio on Pier. The store itself is quite small and too darn close to the beach to be finding any kind of discount. I hope more stores like this pop up here & there but this close to the water you are paying for the overhead to keep the lights on and I have to give this place a pass. I might be back if I am at Javaman and looking to kill time but other than those circumstances chances are this was the first & last time I walk in the door. With saying the above, if you are Xmas shopping for that Ecofriendly person this might be a spot you want to check out they have it all and when I mean it all, I mean IT ALL. I am giving this place 4 Stars instead of 3 because they are a local business that is Ecofriendly, if this review was solely based on the prices it would be 3 stars.
