My boyfriend went in to buy me some lemonade & snacks while we were on FaceTime however, he told me he felt extremely uncomfortable and racially profiled as the guy working was following him through the store. He also said the layout is incredibly confusing & felt like a maze. All of these things together will ensure we won't be returning as customers shouldn't be treated like criminals for simply browsing. I used to come here with no issues. It's the closest store to my work so I go out of convenience and have become a regular there. Since the covid crisis I have started to buy more of what I need and spend waay more money here than I normally would. I've known that there is a mini mart at this location for years, but I've never had a reason to go inside. Recently, a friend let me in on the secret, they have an amazing craft brew selection. So, acting on this tip, I brought another beer loving friend of mine to check out this hot tip. (BTW, is it ironic that my friends are also beer lovers? hmmm. But I digress.) We stopped by and we were not disappointed. They do have a large selection of micro brews that are very hard to find. As Joel mentioned, many of the bottles I've only ever seen at places like the OL in Walnut Creek. Sure, the prices are a little high, but you have to expect that with good selections. Will I be back? I was in California for work. I was out hunting for some craft beer that I can't get in AZ. The men working were extremely helpful. I found some great Russian Rivers beers. hit the jackpot as far as craft beers goes...my word, impressive cold case selection! got a hot tip xmas eve they had bottles of Russian River in the case and when i checked it out, RRBC wasnt the only awesome brew in abundance available...so many great microbrews available, and fairly priced which was exciting. i will be stopping here on my way home from work in the future, lots of great beers rotating and i am exctied to see what new stuff comes in!! read more
