BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwich and fries
    Michael Crawford ..

We go to CR Gibbs every few weeks when we want cocktails and American food. On our most recent visit we enjoyed Beef Fajita Eggrolls as an appetizer, the BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwich and a California Club Wrap for entrees along with a Lemon Drop and a Black Walnut Old Fashioned. Each hit the spot. Portions left plenty to take home. The service is very personable and quick. The full-service bar cranks out the drinks. The outdoor patio is popular on nice days.

    Steak Frites
    Samantha I.

I was visiting home for a few days, so my parents wanted to take me out to dinner, and they decided to take me here as I was craving a steak very badly. It's a very big space so there is a lot of seating and the wait time is never too long, it's also very spaced out so it's not too loud in there either. Our waiter was training and learning the ropes, but he was very kind and asked us all the right questions. My dad got the Cajun Pasta (which I was debating on getting but decided I would just eat some of his). It was very good, although very rich on the stomach. I got the Steak Frites that came with garlic fries, I always ask for rare for my steak and man, did they deliver. It was very red and juicy in the middle, the perfect rare. This steak satisfied my craving, I had a few of the french fries, and they were also very flavorful (my cousin thought so too because she ate almost all of them before I had the chance to). Overall, it is a great place to catch up over dinner, and I would definitely come here again.

Loved it, Korean steak bowl it was delightful, steak was perfect cooked. My husband ordered the venison burger. It was a good choice that we went there. Plenty of table inside and patio we were enjoyed it.

Smokehouse Bacon Cheeseburger, French fries, Arnold Palmer

TL;DR: Amazing BBQ bacon cheeseburger! When does the first bite of a burger instantly put a smile on your face? This one did just that. I honestly can't remember when I've had a better burger. Might have been a one-third pound patty, but felt almost like a half pound, Cooked to a perfect medium (which, pardon the pun, is rare). I loved the pickles they make/use. The BBQ sauce tastes like it came from a jar, but I liked that as well. A surprising addition that helped "make" the burger: red cabbage in addition to the lettuce -- nice little crunch in every bite. I opted out of the two big onion rings that normally come on top of the bun. Fries were also super tasty. They were perfectly crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. It almost seemed like a crime to dip them in ketchup, but I did anyway. My drink of choice is an Arnold Palmer (half iced tea, half lemonade, in case you don't know) - I go for no ice, and slightly more tea than lemonade. Corey, my waiter, mixed it perfectly three times... _also_ a rare occurrence in my travels. My only minor complaint is that burger & fries cost $25, which feels a tad high for a burger. But: I would do it again. It's just that good. Restaurant is pretty spacious. Not too loud... I could hear a little background music, and some kitchen chatter, but nothing outlandish. All of the staff seemed pretty friendly. Their outside patio seating looked nice, but I chose the AC and an inside booth. And, I didn't have to wait too long for my meal. (I did beat the dinner rush, so that helped.) If you want an inexpensive burger, go elsewhere. If want to splurge on a great burger, this might be your place.

Korean steak bowl- meat a little dry but overall it was good

Omg this place was amazing . First lots of parking . Outdoor sitting available. Pet friendly. Full bar. Got seated right away . Waitress was extremely nice and recommended items on the menu to try. She was sensitive to my diary allergy was able to stir me away from killing myself. The menu was confusing for us because it had American , Mexican , Korean and Italian but it definitely didn't disappoint. We ate so much food from wonders of the world. We definitely going back .

Last visit for a late dinner. 4.5 stars. Good cocktails, fresh food. Nice atmosphere and patio. This time for lunch...meh. Menus were filthy. Everything else seemed clean. Fish and chips, over cooked. Cole slaw was old. Fries always good. Good service both visits. Burger are huge...but $25!? With 2 meals, one ice tea, with was almost $60...yikes.

This was my first visit, fish n chips and my Manhattan. The drink was delicious. The fish n chips, meh. But the fries were better than the fish. Fist visit and server i would give a 5 out of 10. Maybe even a 6. The second visit was a week later. No pics. Prime rib dip, bland lack of flavor. The fries delicious. The server had a shit personality from the beginning. He did recommend a great beer. But I won't be coming back. To many options around to have crap service and just ok food. The sad part is, I don't know the name of the beer. And the server that brought the food out was super nice. The server that took my order just had a weird vibe.

We chose Woody's because our little one wanted mac 'n cheese and they have some of the best in town! I cannot rave enough about the restaurant and how well they handled the party. The booking process was easy and completed via e-mail. This aspect was handy as I didn't have to leave the house or make a phone call on a busy day. The gentleman I spoke to answered all of my questions during the booking process. On the day of the party, we showed up a few minutes early to put up some decorations. A waitress and waiter came and greeted us right away. The owner even came by, promptly, and introduced himself to me. The kindess and professionalism was outstanding. Our waitress (I wish I remembered her name! I feel terribly that I can't provide it.) did an outstanding job! We were a big group of people and she took all of our orders, answered questions, and helped us with anything we needed. I hope it can be determined who worked that day so she can be given her kudos as she was lovely! Lastly, the kitchen staff did a great job getting our food out in a timely manner. I was impressed by their speed and the food was delicious. As the restaurant was busy, we didn't have a chance to say thank you one final time before we left. So, thank you again, Woody's! You guys made the party enjoyable and easy for us. We felt we could take a step back and enjoy our daughter's day! :)

Or maybe they were the peppers/onions that go on the cheesesteak? We did a DoorDash for a work group and with all fees it was a $30 sandwich (menu price $23) but I trashed after 3 bites. I tried, because I do not like to waste, but I couldn't stomach that combo. The side salad was actually great so I ate that, but essentially, $30 for a side salad is no bueno.

When the po' boy came out, we thought it was burnt! We didn't know the catfish will be blackened by default. We thought it will be fried since it is a po' boy. The options can be blackened or fried based on the menu online. We were not given those options by our server. They brought out the food but didnt provide utensils until minutes later. Fried green tomatoes: It was good. Fried perfectly. The dressing that was tossed with the side salad was super salty. Catfish po' boy: Fish was tender but super salty as well. Fried chicken sandwich: Pretty good sandwich. Chicken was huge. The fries was so soggy, not crispy at all. Also very greasy. We were a bit disappointed as we drove out of our way to try this place. First, the important stuff: we shared the seafood ravioli and the seafood risotto. The ravioli was delicious, but that risotto... man. The seafood risotto is still my wife's and my favorite thing on the menu. Every time we come back, we end up talking ourselves into getting it again, and every time we're glad we did. But what really stood out to me this time is how much Beni's has grown. They've expanded into a little back room, and I really like what they've done with it. It has this cozy, almost coffee-shop kind of feel that makes the restaurant feel bigger without losing that comfortable, personal atmosphere. There's also now patio seating out front, with a couple of little toys for the kids. Those little touches make a difference when you're eating there with your family. And I have to give a shout-out to something I never thought I'd be excited to write about in a restaurant review: The cubed ice is gone. They've upgraded to the good restaurant ice - you know exactly what I mean. The kind everybody actually wants. They're continuing to make improvements, too. There's a soda machine coming soon and more interior upgrades on the way. You can really see Beni and Mistee's vision starting to take shape, and it's pretty cool to watch. I also got a little peek inside the kitchen this time, and honestly, I don't know how Beni does what he does in that space. The kitchen is small. Really small. And yet somehow he's putting out food like the seafood risotto and ravioli that comes out of there. Watching him work with that limited space made me appreciate the food even more. There's something almost magical about seeing how much he manages to accomplish with what he has. It reminded me that great food isn't always coming out of some massive restaurant kitchen with a dozen people running around. Sometimes it's just a talented person making it happen. A year ago, I called Beni a culinary rockstar. I still stand by that. The difference now is that you can actually see the dream growing around him. Beni and Mistee are slowly turning this place into what they've envisioned, and it's been pretty cool to watch that happen. The food is great, the atmosphere keeps getting better, and there's a genuine feeling that they're building something they're proud of. We'll definitely be back. And yes... we'll be ordering the risotto again.
