What's great is when you order you just check off everything you want in or on your sandwich and if you call they will make it special. They will make almost anything with the ingredients they have. If you want a croisandwich but no meat, just eggs, no problem. If you want them to dice up pickles and add them to your tuna salad, no problem. And they smile and are so nice all the while. My favorite is tuna salad on 9 grain bread with apples, peppers, onions, celery, cucumbers, lettuce, & pickles added! We have yet to be disappointed. They make everything with fresh ingredients. Definitely a favorite for breakfast, brunch, or lunch. We moved and are farther away now but still go here because we not only love the food but the people too. This place is gigantic with plenty of tables and chairs. I do think they could do a better job with their interior decorating, like sofa and table placement, but I'm not complaining. Also, they didn't have a lot of outlets. So beware those with poor battery life. I came here on a Thursday afternoon, so the place was pretty chill. The music was a bit loud, but that is why we have soundproof headphones! The tables here are sturdy and the chairs are comfortable enough for prolonged hours of sitting. I know I said this before, but it's super spacious, so I don't feel too depressed sitting inside studying on a beautiful day. They are located on the corner of the street of downtown Carrollton, which has a small town vibe. The cafe also has big windows so you can see everyone walking by. It's a quaint cafe. I got the soy latte, and was quite disappointed. It tasted watered down. However, their sizes are much bigger than other cafes. The sizes were either 16 or 20oz, but the prices were similar to other cafes with smaller sizes. So, it has its pros and cons. Overall, I'd come back here to study again, even on a study date! However, the layout is really confusing, it seems that the huge staircase in the middle leads to an office space? It's a nice older building, and I liked the character of the place, but it definitely could use some interior work. The biggest issue was that there weren't many available outlets, so you may have to battle for the best tables. I wasn't a huge fan of the cappuccino that I ordered. The foam was just fine, and the rest of the drink was a bit bland. I wish they came in smaller sizes (only 16oz and 20oz options), but I guess that balances out the prices they charge. The seemed to have a huge variety of options for you, ranging from the sandwiches and pastries to ice cream (both scoop and prepackaged bars). If I come back, I'd want to try a different drink, since they have a lot of flavored lattes. The service is by far the best part of this cafe, which I think many reviewers have mentioned. Old Downtown Carrollton is such a cute location! This cafe is beautiful on the inside but the cafe is only the first floor. There is a gorgeous staircase but I was told that we couldn't go up there and that there were just office spaces there. I believe that the cafe is shared with a church? I came here to study and it was a good environment to get studying done. I enjoyed a mocha frappe and 1/2 a turkey sandwich. Food was good, but definitely not worth the $4-5 (if you look at my picture, you'll see why. I definitely could've made it at home). I spent close to $10 on my 16 oz. frappe and sandwich. Tables and chairs are limited but it wasn't busy when I came. The place is clean and spacious, and the bathroom was also clean. There are children's books if you decide to bring your little ones and need them to be occupied. The young lady working the cafe was very sweet and kind! The location of the shop is conveniently located on the Northeast corner of the square and there is plenty of parking near the shop. I usually come here to get my morning caffeine, however they offer pretty good breakfast sandwiches to pair with your coffee. My favorite combination is a mocha latte with a ham and egg sandwich. The combo never disappoints and keeps me energized all morning long. Good lunch sandwiches too! Grab yourself a hot dog from their hot dog cart. They are amazing! C Square Cafe got off to a rocky start. Service was hit or miss. However, it has turned around completely in the past few months now that the owner is more involved. His name is Stan and he is there often. Be careful though, he is a talker. The atmosphere is pretty low-key and there is lots of space so you can have lots of options to spread out and find the right place to sit. Made plans with a few girls after a very long time and wanted to try this place out. The doors were open, and I walked in and went to check out the menu. There was a lady sitting at a table with her child, and she told me that they were not open. The hours on yelp are completely wrong and needs to be fixed ASAP. What a bummer. I came back another time with my mom and I just did not like my latte. I have had almond milk lattes before with flavor and they have tasted delicious.... but this one was not good. Such a great find!! I wanted to take an employee out for coffee somewhere other than Starbucks that was close to the office. Downtown Carrollton is really up-and-coming so I decided to give this place a try! From the outside it looks like a cute street-side cafe, but when you open the door there is a huge formal staircase in front of you! We walked up to the counter and the coffee menu is pretty extensive and they let you choose whatever flavors you want and you can mix and match! The staff was really friendly and our coffee came in a togo cup which I really liked since I hardly ever finish it there. Very cozy with a good amount of seating. I decided to visit this place based on the reviews. I drove about 10 min and was pleasantly surprised of the location and the ample parking that it provided. I was a little put off with it being down town Carrollton to my surprise it was an easy find and not busy at all. I ordered the mint Latte and really loved that the manager was so friendly And informed me of the free coffee that is provided by Frost Bank on Thursday. I believe he said they are looking to let the community know of their presence and decided by doing that is to offer free I think the idea is genius. Wasn't extremely busy but we did have one person in front of us. There was only one barista working behind the counter doing the work from prior orders, taking orders, etc. so there was more of a wait than expected. I'm rating C Square Cafe' 2 stars because of the lack of customer service I received this morning while at this business. I don't normally post reviews on Yelp but my experience this morning warranted a comment. I needed a quick jolt of java this morning so a colleague suggested I check out C Square Cafe' - it was close by and I was in a rush. As I walked into the cafe', I was greeted by a very "feels like home" environment. There were two gentlemen ahead of me, completing their order. When it became my turn, I was not greeted with a smile, not a "Welcome to C Square, may I take your order?" not a "Good Morning" - nothing. I said "Good Morning!" and "How are you this morning?" to the gentleman behind the counter (who I later learned was Stan). He replied, "Fine" and waited for me to place my order. He didn't ask me how I was doing. He was aloof and distant - as though he was doing me a favor. When I completed my order, Stan did not ask if my order was a "dine in" or "take out" and, quite honestly, I didn't think to tell him it was a "take out" order. So, when he brought my order to me, I said, "I'm sorry, I'm taking this to go." He sighed, didn't say anything to me and returned to the counter to wrap my food. Without saying anything to me, he handed my food to me without placing it in a bag. I walked away feeling very unwelcomed and uncomfortable in his cafe. Delivering excellent customer service is paramount to the success of any business; it is what I teach my team to deliver each time they interact with a customer. If you are having a bad day, the customer shouldn't feel it. I'll chalk my experience up to a "one off" instance of Stan having a bad day. This was my first visit. I came because my group of walkers were meeting here before walking Carrollton's greenbelt. I had the turkey with American cheese on 9-grain sandwich combo. Yummy! The bread is toothsome and held together perfectly. My partner had a chicken salad sandwich on sourdough. He's from San Francisco and is picky about his sourdough. He pronounced the sandwich tasty. I was impressed with the number of vegetables you could order in your chicken salad. We were impressed by the service. The owners greeted us and brought us our food. They asked before skipping us to serve the next people (who were ready with their order) while we were still scanning the menu. They remembered who in our group ordered what and they remembered who was sitting at which tables. The decor is lovely. The restaurant is in an old renovated building. The staircase leading to the second floor was suitably dramatic. The painted tin ceiling looks authentic. Pieces of stained glass set off the woodwork beautifully. A church meets in the building on Sundays. There's a Free Little Library right outside so if you want to eat outside, there's reading material. read more

I felt at home the moment I walked in this cute cafe! I first stopped in here almost 2 months ago when I was in the area looking for a place to relocate to from California. Now that I'm living in the DFW area I hope to make this a regular stop. Both times the staff were very friendly and made me feel like family.
