Then trying to charge charge $25 for a box of 9mm? I was trying to take a friend who deploys tomorrow out to lunch and shooting, but instead we wasted an hour driving here and back. Great place to go if you've never shot a gun before and want to learn how to do so with the proper training. Went here in March for an hour on the range with an instructor. He was patient and knowledgeable, and by the end of the time, I was hitting the bullseye dead center multiple times in a row. But besides being able to hit the target, I am now properly prepared for how to handle a firearm should I ever need to do so. All the employees I dealt with at C2 was super friendly and gracious, and I look forward to going back there again to build up my skills and acquire more knowledge. read more

C2 is a nice facility but if you buy a gift card for someone online the only way they can use it is to schedule online. We bought one for my Dad for Father's Day and he took it in to use it and they actually turned him away. He took the time to drive there and use a gift we paid for and they said sorry you HAVE to schedule ahead online to use it. And now we have looked online and they charge $10 to use the online scheduling. This is not a policy that has their customer in mind. It is inconvenient and feels like we got ripped off. Out of principal I will not be spending money here again. They made a great gift for my dad, inconvenient and awkward for him. read more

My wife and me signed up for a private 1-1 firearm lesson with NRA Instructor Chris Lane. It was my wife's first time handling a firearm. Chris was patient, kind and knowledgeable about firearm safety and fundamentals. Within 20 minutes my wife was hitting bullseyes at 20 feet. I knew the fundamentals firing a 45 ACP being prior military, but needed some fine tuning on sighting and trigger action skills. Chris Lane got me dialed in in no time. Long time member of the club. Went in today to complete a transaction and ended up leaving with my money refunded because they wanted me to make an appointment but never communicated that. Only after I asked for a refund were they interested in trying to fix the issue. Very poor customer service, and when asked about it, they didnt like the feedback I gave them. For the money they charge annually for memberships, and the mark up they charge for their equipment, being treated the way I was today just doesn't fly. read more

The employee did not want to let him see it because it cost so much. My coworker was so offended that he bought it to prove a point to the guy. Great range and even better staff. Just became a member and took my youngest daughter today. Had a wonderful time and it was a pleasure dealing with friendly and courteous professionals, both at the counter and the RO's. Been to other ranges where somehow I became invisible when I needed help or had to put up with the "tacticool" BS from all the "operators" that worked there. None of that crap here, just good people making sure you enjoy yourself safely. Still love going to the desert to shoot, more flexibility on target set up plus being able to shoot my steel but at C2 I can have almost as much fun without having to dedicate most of a day to doing it. I can tell you that under the constraints that must be enforced at a public range C2 Tactical has created a shooting environment that is both safe and super enjoyable. I didn't like this place when I first started going - busy, gun prices can be beaten, lots of new shooters (that always freaks me out). But over time what has sold me is the staff and the quality of the facility. At first I thought they were trying out for a new Chuck Norris Delta Force movie, but the staff for the most part is really very pleasant, knowledgeable and very friendly. If you shoot at a lot of places in the Phoenix area you will find that many range officers are INCREDIBLY annoying - these guys/gals are actually cool, not uptight and very helpful. That really makes for a much, much more pleasant shooting experience. The last time I was there (07.18.2016) my Springfield .45 had a feed issue, I called the range guy over (Jake B) to eject the cartridge for me (I didn't have a glove and my hand was slipping off the slide) and he ejected the round and noticed I was shooting low left. He gave me a few tips the really helped me correct the issue (trigger squeeze on that particular gun I wasn't use to). Cool dude, very helpful and that makes all the difference in my opinion. Funny how a place I didn't like at first - is just about the only place I will continue to shoot at. read more

Couldn't be happier with the service my wife and I received. We're about to make a cross-country move to a town we're unfamiliar with and thought this would be good time to finally make a firearm purchase. As a first time buyer I asked a lot of questions over three trips, with two additional range visits, speaking to several different staff members (Spencer, Mike, Ed, & a woman who who's name I didn't get but who loves the VP9). They were all exactly what I needed: professional, knowledgeable, & patient. At no point did I feel rushed or pressured to go with more expensive options. The range team were also great, though I wasn't able to get any of their names (two men, one woman). The entire staff made us feel comfortable and confident throughout the entire process and I couldn't be happier with the handgun we chose, an H&K VP9. I visited a few other local stores, and C2's prices are higher but given the level of professionalism embodied by the staff they're still a great value. Not only did they handle my low level of knowledge wonderfully; I overheard other staff members easily answering much more technical & advanced questions for more savvy customers as well. No matter your level of experience with firearms I've no doubt they'll understand what you need and point you in the right direction. I used to really like this place. Made several purchases here with no issue. Well after today 8/15/22 worst customer service experience. I walked in asked specifically for a Sig Romeo 1 Pro or Leupold Delta Point Pro for my Sig P320 xcarry Legion. I know what I needed what fit and so on. Well I started talking to Jake the sales rep at the desk he showed me the Leupold Delta Point Pro and the Sig Romeo 1. Long story short I purchased the Sig Romeo 1 because they didn't have the Leupold Delta Point Pro in black. When I get home I I look at the box and realize it's the Sig Romeo 1 and not the Sig Romeo1 Pro. So I call them cause it's only like 1.5 hrs after purchasing it and asked if I could take it back in and swap it out and if there is a price difference I'd pay it of course. I get a response of no from Jake the sales rep and he says they can't in which I said Jake I was literally just in there asked for a specific optic and yes my mistake walked out with the wrong one. He then states that's how they operate and he doesn't want to get into trouble. He also stated after me telling him I walked in asked for a specific optic and specified what kind of firearm it was being placed on. He replied with I'm not an expert. I don't expect you to be an expert but take pride in your job and offering good customer service and find a way to make things right. I mean if someone walked into my place of business asked for something specific I'm not going to respond with I'm not an expert. Well then maybe you shouldn't be in sales if you don't know product. All I want is the correct optic or refund so I can purchase what I need not a $300 paper weight. His attitude sucked in which I shared with him and asked if there was another higher manager or even corporate number to see if I can get this resolved as speaking to him for me went nowhere. He then says I don't have time to go back and forth with you in which all I wanted was a number at that point or another manager to speak with. Eventually I received another manager name and hopefully we can get this resolved. I'm not a Karen lol but damn make things right I had the optic for 1.5 hrs and that was drive time on the way home. read more

If possible don't go here. The Scottsdale location is much better for many reasons. Tempe employees are extremely rude for no reason. Rarely had a good experience while at Tempe, but always have a good time at Scottsdale. Only met 2 RSOs that really do their job, every other one is usually on their phone. I was going to Pheonix for a few days and knew I would have some time to spare. I booked a shooting package on their website in advance. A quick Uber ride from the hotel and I arrived. I was promptly greeted. They helped me select the firearms I would shoot and I was introduced to Corbin, who would be my range safety officer. He was friendly and helpful. Awesome staff here! I came here on a double date and bought the masters at arms package. The staff was very accommodating in finding us some guns that would be fun and provide an eye opening experience for us as we were mostly first time shooters. Daniel was our instructor, and he showed us the ropes on a semi-auto shotgun, 9MM and .40 handguns, and a fully auto SCAR-L! He was awesome in explaining the features of each one and made the trip very memorable. What an awesome trip. Next time I'm back in the area I'm coming back here. I've been to their range a few times and have no issues with that part and would give just that 5 stars. I purchased a 9mm ruger from them and my mistake was not researching and relying on the manager/clerk to show me the gun and get his insight etc. after the purchase I shoot 100 or so rounds there and had numerous ejection failures, maybe 8 total but figure either cheap ammo or new gun break in might be the cause. When I got home I registered on the ruger website and this pistol required a recall to fix an issue that's been affecting this model for over a year. C2 had this one "on sale" for obvious reasons and in my opinion intentionally didn't reveal the recall issues. I did ask questions and my fault for assuming I was in a reputable place. Ruger will do right as always with correcting the issues just don't make the same mistake I made of trusting the sales team at C2. Research before you buy read more

The date night package was a lesson with a instructor. We both walked away with a solid understanding of where our skill level is, where we can improve, and how to work on it.
