Upon arrival, Marisol stated that the window crevices would not come out from cleaning and that it would need to be power washed. $25 per window x 4 ( bigger windows) and $15 x 2 (small windows). Extra $130. I agreed since she stated that is the only way to assure it would be cleaned. An hour or so after she started, she text me stating that some emergency happen to her team and that she would not be able to finish that day. She originally promised 3 hours. Speaking with her previously, she knew that I had to turn in my keys that night. So once again, I explained that I am apologetic to her team but I do need the job finished and if it is not possible that I would need to know asap. She assured me that she would find other people and it would be finished but it might take longer. I told her to take her time and just to call me when she is about 20 mins from being done. There were so many spots missed. The window blinds (hardwood) were not wiped down and the bedroom walls weren't even touched. On her website, it states "wash walls". She says I need to paint my walls in the bedroom and that she only wiped down the grease in kitchen on walls. I can literally see how much was missed. The window power washed I paid extra for, only pushed the dirt to one side. The house was completely empty when she started. I had to cleaning supplies to clean after her. I did however take a wet tissue toilet paper to see if the dirt would come off, and it came off very easily!!!! Throughout the process before Marisol was very kind but after the job was finished and I had complaints she had many excuses and refuses to work with me. She disappears and now is not answering. I paid $720 total for move out cleaning and see attached pictures. I am being very reasonable and asking for $200 refund. For windows and walls/window blinds. I stupidly thought I'd have time to clean it myself, and by the time I realized my mistake it was a couple of days before my lease ended. A dozen frantic phone calls later, Marisol was able to accommodate my tight schedule after I explained the situation. They not only arrived on time, but left the place absolutely spotless for a very fair price. They saved my sanity, and also got me 100% of my security deposit back. I hired Marisol again when - ick - my indoor cats managed to contract fleas (To cat owners: treat your kitties with preventive stuff even if they never set foot outside. Ew.). I was mortified as soon as I realized the problem (I had two roommates then), and Orchids Cleaning Services came immediately to the rescue. I had already been to the vet, treated the cats, and sprayed anti-flea stuff everyone, but I wanted to make sure everything was super-clean. Once again, they did a great job. My current apartment is feeling a little un-sparkly, so I am considering having a cleaning service come by sometime. I know exactly who I'll be calling. They tend to show up 10-15 minutes late, which was never a big deal. Today, however, things didn't go so smoothly. I had scheduled a 10:30am cleaning for today, Thursday October 11th 2018. The owner texted me on Wednesday evening asking if they could reschedule to 2:00pm. As a courtesy, I moved my schedule around to make it work. At 1:39pm, they texted me saying that the cleaners would arrive at 2:50pm because the prior appointment ran longer than expected. A few minutes later, they pushed the ETA to 3:15pm, blaming traffic. What kind of dimwit schedules back-to-back appointments in the Sunset and Financial District without accounting for traffic? I totally understand that unexpected things happen, and people run late. However, the owner was extremely rude and unapologetic in her communication. I would have happily accommodated if she had shown a modicum of professionalism. Keep in mind that I reconfigured my work schedule so that she could take on an additional appointment. The least she could do was be prompt. After I expressed discontent, she cancelled the appointment, sent the cleaners home and said she didn't need "rude" clients like myself. Unbelievable, I know. ***I've taken the liberty of posting the screenshots from the conversation so you can see for yourselves***. If you value your time, do yourselves a favor and take your business elsewhere.

Props. Second, it was this cleaning company that was called in to clean up @ the Fairmont Hotel after the Tony Bennett street sign unveiling/tribute. Props. Thirdly, Matt is accommodating & professional. Props. They did "high cleaning" (dusting every high surface, including the ceiling molding), removed all the books on the bookshelf, & the worst...the inaccessible, 2nd floor bathroom windows...which desperately needed it. They also cleaned the upholstered living room chairs w a fantastic contraption I'd love to own but have no room for. But most impressive; Matt really went the extra 10 miles. He was dissatisfied w the initial window cleaning, so he actually made a quick trip to the hardware store for a product he thought would really do the trick. It did. On her first visit, our house was in quite a bit of disarray due to planning a wedding and letting chores get away from us, but she was able to make it look fabulous, like a weight had been lifted from all of the major duties. She literally gets into all of nooks and cranny's, makes each room look well put together (even when it's completely not), and does personal touches like arranging the throw blanket into a bow and staging the couch with little designs. The time ranges depending on how many people she has with her, but even on days when it is just her, the quality is the same.
