Today we had our gutters cleaned by Carl and his crew of 1 man. I had thought they would come yesterday, and would have, but our roof was wet from the thick fog and he didn't want to take any chances falling (my thanks for that!). They cleaned our gutters and flushed out the downspouts till they ran clear. We have a two-story home with about 1/2 dozen trees that lean over and drop leaves all over the roof, fence, and yard, , but those two men were undaunted. There were a LOT of leaves this year because there hasn't been much rain or wind and so the roof was covered as well as our yard. The roof of our house and unattached garage were blown, the gutters cleaned (scooped out) and then flushed. Carl and his crew member cleaned up all of the downed leaves that came from their service as well as plenty of the other stuff that had accumulated in some nooks and crannies around our house, fence, and deck. They really made the yard look better than when they started. I feel like they did the work of a landscape crew--that's how much debris was on the ground before they even started--in addition to giving us clean rain gutters. I highly recommend their work cleaning gutters. I can imagine that they would be as careful and thorough cleaning windows. Their price this year and last year was well below the company we had used previously and they were a lot nicer and gentler on our yard. read more

Our house is a large Victorian so it required quite a bit of work with the many windows and getting to the high attic windows, but I couldn't be happier with the result. We are still so amazed at the great job performed on our windows and skylights! We have a manufactured home. Carl and his associate worked magic on our windows, skylights, and sliding glass door. They cleaned the screens as well. By the time they were finished it looked as though the glass and screens had disappeared! They cleaned all the window tracks and sills. Carl and CA window cleaning are just the most professional, diligent workers we have encountered in a very long time. Our 2 story Tudor home has 35 multipaned windows that hadn't been cleaned since they were installed and had some sort of grime on them that we never thought would be removed. Carl and his crew got them looking better than they did when they were installed. Screens and gutters look amazing too, and there was NO mess. Really....NO MESS. Being an avid gardener, I wanted to be they would be careful of the plants as well as the inside of the house. Not even a leaf was disturbed and the house was spotless. Carl was great with communicating with us before he began the job, telling us what to expect, how long it would take, etc etc. He surpassed any expectations we had with flying colors. Carl was terrific!! We need to have our rental done up for an open house. My fiance had lived in the house for almost 10 years and never had the windows cleaned. Now, the tracks being dirty with 10 years of dirt and dust and filth bothered him. So I called Carl. He worked on our tight time schedule. We also had a key screw up and his job with us got delayed. Carl was patient waited, sent his guys off to the next job and did our job himself. Carl was honest and told the limitations of what he could do given the age of the windows. He promised he would do his best and that the tracks would only get so clean. He was right. Although the job was done well, we had permanent scarring on the tracks. It was also difficult to get some of the accumulated dirt out of the older-window tracks (narrow!) that we had, and you should not expect perfection, though we thought it might have been possible to get more of the dirt out of there. We have several homes and whenever we need our windows done, we will call Carl. Overall a great job by a nice, respectful man. read more
