Located by the pools at MGM Grand. It's a short walk from any of the pools. Prices are ok. They have things like a quesadilla, nachos, burgers, and salads. They have a good selection. Service was quick and it didn't take long for the food to be prepared. There is seating in that area as well, most in a shady area. We got the quesadilla. It was good. I've actually eaten at the cabana Grill on multiple occasions while heading to the MGM pools. The service is actually pretty fast if you walk up to the window. I found the least expensive thing on the menu is actually pretty darn good and that is the $15 cheese quesadilla that comes with sour cream and pico. They have a really great selection of drinks you can get as well. Aside from the rising prices I really can't complain... It's pretty much basic poolside food, but always taste great. read more

We ordered the food from the center bar where two guys were working. We got the breakfast burrito and watermelon salad for $17 and $20 respectively. Pros - the breakfast burrito was average, not much else to say besides that. It's big enough to fill you up for breakfast. The salad was also decent. Cons - the balding manlet bartending was constantly yelling "tight" (as in customers not tipping enough). Annoying, childish and embarrassing. 5/10 read more

We had $150 food and beverage credit included in our daybed rental. Daybeds come with a dedicated server however I wish the daybeds were equipped with a button to call for service. Our server didn't check in at any regular interval. I think he checked in about 4 times in our 5 hours there. The menu is even more limited than the one posted online. We previewed the menu to anticipate what type of food and drink would be available and were disappointed to find that some of the healthier items like fresh fruit and vegetable crudites were not available. Due to the limited menu it was somewhat difficult to meet the credit over the 5 hours were were there. We had a breakfast burrito, chicken fingers, and a yogurt parfait. The yogurt parfait was the highlight, unsweetened greek yogurt with melons, berries, and granola. The other food was ok, nothing special and of course at Vegas prices. The blended drinks were syrupy sweet, I think the ratio was off. I could not finish them as it was like drinking childrens cough syrup. I ordered a virgin strawberry one for my daughter and it tasted bitter like alcohol, but the server swore it did not have any booze. At the final call (3p) we still had around $20 remaining. We ordered a simple Gin and Tonic, specified a 12oz which I figured would run about $16 in line with the cocktail pricing listed. The server brought out an upgraded 24oz that was $32. ugh. I was also double billed, I was charged $300 deposit, $150 at check in, and then $230 closeout tab. I should have only been charged $380 total, but charged $680 and it took me over 2 weeks and several calls and emails to get this adjusted. Tbh, when we went (late July) there was plenty of seating and shaded areas so I felt that getting a daybed to ensure seating wasn't really worth it. read more

I didn't take pictures of the food because I didn't have my phone , but our food did not look as nice as some of the other pictures. We got the cheese quesadilla w/ chicken and a burger w/ fries. We each only ate a few bites. The cheese wasn't melted in the quesadilla and it just tasted greasy. The burger was also greasy and low quality. Add two waters and it cost almost $60. I had the Cabana Burger and it tasted so good, the meat was amazing. It's by the pool and eating right after swimming brought back so many memories. Location - Poolside restaurant thats not as great. Food - Everything here is small size served as in Small salad, small chicken strips. The salad looks like something they buy at the store and mark it up 3x for profit. Prices - I know pool food is expensive but I think its a bit too overpriced for what you get. Went here to grab something to eat while relaxing by the pool. It is well shaded. We were seated right away and our order taken within 5 minutes. We ended up ordering the tacos and the turkey burger. According to my friend the turkey burger was great. I have an allergy to tomatoes so asked for no tomatoes and ended up getting tacos with just a little crumbled white cheese. I asked my waiter if that was it and she asked if I wanted anything. She ended up getting me some lettuce and avocado! She was a GREAT waitress. also the tacos came with salsa and chips and my turkey burger came with chips. The chips were not too salty. But I do not recommend ordering the tacos. I suggest a burger or their salads. read more

For a pool side cafe, I was pretty happy impressed (so this review is in comparison to other eateries you'd find at a pool). My chicken quesadilla had fresh ingredients. This is the grill poolside at MGM. I ordered chicken tenders, nachos, and a burger for food and a patron margarita and Bloody Mary. Drinks run 20-25 if you get the bigger side. My husband didn't feel for $28 the patron margarita had enough alcohol in it to substantiate the cost. The Bloody Mary was actually veryyyyy good. The chicken tenders were basic, nachos were soggy, burger was bland since we had to put it all together poolside from the to-go packaging. I accidentally double ordered nachos on the app and was very upset that for very low quality food and drink, I spent $145. I would highly recommend if you spend this kind of money for 2 adults and 2 kids to do Wolfgang puck instead. The biggest disappointment in my MGM stay to be honest. read more

So It's a poolside eatery at a Casino in Vegas; know that you're going to pay a lot. The Cabana Grill is located poolside the MGM Grand Pool. If you choose to "dine in" they have an outdoor area that is separated specifically for restaurant patrons. This area has fans blowing and mist machines going to keep you cool in the intense heat. There is also a self serve area where you can go up to a counter and order the same food and either take back to your room or eat in a shaded area with outdoor tables and benches. I came here twice and participated in both options. The dining in experience was nice and relaxing. You are able to get a nice lunch while also taking in the poolside atmosphere. I had the club sandwich and it was huge! The fries were amaze balls as well. I was completely stuffed after this meal which rarely happens for me. Prices were relatively inexpensive. A cheap lunch could run you from $10-20. They do serve alcohol hear, as they do at almost every establishment in Vegas. I also had the pizza from here to go and this was not as good. Though it is cheaper to grab your food on the go it is much more of a pleasant experience when you are seated and dining under the fans. The slice of pizza was just average and it was $8. For a dollar or so less I could have went to Bonanno's in the food court. The fries on the go option was nice though. Cabana Grill is the only but a good poolside option. read more

On a hot pool day outside, we were looking for a place to eat near wet republic before we went in. This was the first thing we saw so we decided to try it. Note: we ate at Cabana grill via a rented Cabana. We rented a cabana (#13 on the lazy river) on a Monday which carries with it a food and drink minimum. Ours was $380 (not including taxes and gratuity). We arrived just before 10am and ordered breakfast which was really good. I got scrambled eggs, sausage, potatoes and toast and my wife got the breakfast burrito. Then we started off with some drinks. I got a pina colada mixed with a strawberry daiquiri (aka lava flow, but not on the menu). The drink was good and just $24 with the souvenir cup. Refills were a bargain at $17 :). Of course we got a few of those too. They also had buckets of beers that were a better value than buying each one individually. $40 for 5 Coronas. Not too bad for Vegas prices. For lunch I ordered the summer catch which was a Mahi Mahi and it was absolutely amazing. For Vegas I thought it was actually a great value at $28.95. My wife ordered the watermelon salad for $19.95 which was good but $20 for a pile of leaves and a side of watermelon seems high to me :). In all fairness there was a bit more to it than that but the food cost on that can't be that high. After another bucket of Coronas we were approaching last call and we're about $120 short of the food and beverage minimum so we ordered a bottle of the Veuve Clicquot (yellow label) for a $130. This stung a little since you can buy this in Costco for about $45, but hey - we're in Vegas at a beautiful place with an awesome private cabana and spectacular service from our Cabana lady, Sarah. Overall we had a great time and would do it again. Might try to find a less busy day with a lower food and beverage minimum but we have no regrets! read more

the (pre-made) turkey sandwich is GREAT! it's a cranberry ciabatta roll with pesto aioli, lettuce, tomato, deli turkey and fresh mozzarella. yes, it's expensive for what it is......but it's in Vegas, everything is pricey. Honestly, this is one of the best places when it comes to service. Kelsie and Chelsea have both been really nice and accommodating. The food is pretty good too. The nachos ($14) and nacho fries ($17) are SOO good and huge portion too! The BBQ burger ($18) is also a great choice. Yeah, it's pricey but it's Vegas and right by the pool. The Bloody Mary was boooomb and strong. I was pretty tipsy after the 24oz. The blue slushee (blueberry something) is the best one out of all of them. $24 for 24oz with souvenirs cup and then $17 for refill. The liquid drinks are waaaay stronger than the cocktails though. You'll get more bang for your buck that way. We always have a great time when we come here, and will continue to come time and time again! Swimming makes you hungry, doesn't it? The Cabana Grill will cure your food fix. This place is located in the MGM Grand Pool area. Prices average about $10-15 a person. Which is fair considering it Vegas, and in the pool area, where its the only restaurant in site. Unless you want to leave the pool area. I don't think outside food is permitted, but I'm not to sure. The sandwiches must of had about a pound of meat! Really, insane amounts of meat. I had the grilled ham and Swiss burger, which came with fries and a pickle. I only ended up eat half the burger, cause it was so massive. Remember what your parents told you, "wait an hour after you eat, before getting in the pool". After the massive burger I felt like an anchor in the pool! LOL! Some of my other buddies ordered the cabana dog, which was also massive, looked like a foot long dog. And the bucket of nachos...it was literally a big "bucket" full of nachos! Overall good food and convenient if you've been floating in the lazy river all day and get hungry! read more

This place isn't cheap, but it's not too expensive either due to the large portions. I ordered the vegetarian omelet for breakfast on my most recent Vegas trip and I was very satisfied. The omelet was large enough for two people and came with hash browns. The service wasn't bad either. I came back for lunch with my boyfriend and he ordered a chicken cob sandwich. The sandwich was also large and came with a pile of criss-cut fries and a pickle. The service wasn't as good as my breakfast experience, because there was some seating assignment confusion. Three waiters passed our table and never asked our order. After 15 minutes of waiting, we asked the hostess stand (which we were seated adjacent to) where our waiter was, and then our order was promptly taken. If you're tired of fast food but don't want to drop $25 on a meal, then give this place a shot. You'll get a lot of good quality food for about $13 a person. read more

While staying at the MGM Grand, my girls and I ate here two days in a row. So good! I had their cheeseburger and Meditteranean salad. Delicious! The salad was better than the burger though, but the fries with the burger were delicious. It's located in the pool area and I'm not sure if you need to be a guest there to get in. The service is okay though, but they are really bad a refilling waters. I'd highly recommend checking Cabana Grill out when staying at the MGM. I think all the food was under $20 during lunch, so it's not bad in Vegas terms. read more

Located in the MGM Grand outside by the pool, we figured we'd eat this before going into the pool. I know you're not supposed to go into the pool right after you eat, but hey, it's Vegas. I had the chicken strips which came with 4 big pieces of chicken and a bucket of seasoned crisscut fries. Tasted good and there was a lot of it. The grilled cheese sandwiches were a different story. Two sandwiches came out with the cheese barely melted. Thats not grilled cheese in my book. Also one sandwich was missing the fries it was supposed to come with. So it took a while to get that straightened out. The frozen drinks were not that great either and kind of expensive, $20 dollars each. Considering that the service wasn't very good, it was annoying that the bill had already added in the tip for a group of 4 people. read more

I'm teetering between 3 and 4 stars on this one. The Cabana Grill is an open air restaurant in the Grand Pool Complex at the MGM really more like a cafe in style. You need to be a hotel guest to get through the entry that leads to the cafe. The seating area is covered from the sun - thank God! The staff were all friendly and nice. Everything came really quickly and was quite tasty. I had the Breakfast Sandwich minus the bacon and my b/f had a Shrimp cocktail and Greek salad. I was disappointed to stay at MGM, where I planned to spend every day and all day at the pools, and find out that they do not have poolside food service via waitress. Most hotels on the strip do. The fact that MGM didn't was impeding on my time in the sun and taking away from my 8am efforts to grab the first and best pool-side chairs that I'd potentially lose by leaving for lunch. The only option is the to-go portion of Cabana grill which is a very limited menu and quite heavy fare for pool-side. I would have preferred a healthier lighter selection. read more
