Another amazing dining experience! Came here for a business dinner with colleagues. The ambience was great. My only qualm is that there is an inclosed section off of the dining room that allows cigar smoking. I'm not a fan of cigars but it wasn't a deal breaker. We ordered the shrimp cocktail, oysters, and fried lobster tails as appetizers. I ordered the daily special which was the 14 oz Wagyu and it was cooked to perfection! A bunch of shareable sides like the creamed corn, broccolini, Brussels, and other items. Ended with a few desserts including the chocolate ganache cake. Service was top tier! I will absolutely come back next time I'm in Alpharetta

What an experience! I called ahead to remind the service staff that we were celebrating an anniversary and they did not disappoint. The ambiance was incredible. Pretty lighting, beautiful and clean bathrooms, and they even had a cigar bar! We decided to split the rock crusted ribeye and it did not disappoint! My family recommended this spot to me and we are very glad we made a stop here we will definitely be coming back.

Visited during a restaurant week and were very impressed. Great service, and the menu of calamari, filet and choc cake was perfect. My mid-rare filet was a touch overcooked but that's being a bit picky. We will definitely return soon.

Hubby surprised me with a surprise date for our anniversary! So I had no idea where we were going. I've never heard of this place or knew what to even expect. Parking: free valet parking First impression: I was not very impressed to say the least lol. As soon as you walk in, there is another door to a cigar smoking room. It's very faint (to some, not me) but you can smell it. And I know most people who come here would know that but I had no idea. It reminds me of being in a casino restaurant lol. But otherwise, the place has old school vibes and upscale ambiance. Food: Fresh Oysters 10/10. They're huge! Cabernet sampler: included 2 fried lobster tails, shrimp cocktail, & crab cake. Delicious! 22oz bone in ribeye medium rare. It was cooked to PERFECTION. I love that didn't try to get fancy and salt the heck out of it. I hate when my steak taste salty. Creamed corn: 6/10. Brussels sprouts: 5/10. Good flavor but we wished it was crispy. Overall: I'd probably come back. But asked to be seated somewhere on the other end away from the smoking room.

This place is very nice and very fancy. There is valet parking or you have to pay for parking if you don't do valet. Overall the food is pretty good. The filet was great but the ribeye was tough and dry. I wasn't a big fan of that. The twice baked potato was AMAZING. It was so good. The creamed spinach wasn't that great. I would personally skip that side. The crème brûlée and peanut butter chocolate cake was great! I would also like to shoutout Lemonte (not sure about spelling) but he was honestly the nicest waiter I have ever had. He was great and he represented this restaurant well. It was fantastic service.

I recently came here for lunch and it's been a while since I ha visited but was the perfect meeting spot for my friend's bday this past week. The decor and feel are upscale and classy. Lots of great choices for healthy eating off the lunch menu. Located Just off 400 exit 11.They also have a wonderful dinner menu. Our server was quite polite and accommodating and made great choices for us. We definitely will return.

We got the Prix Fix menu and it was good. It would have been better if the steak had a little crust on it. The wine pairing was perfect. Our server was extremely knowledgeable on the wines.

    Filet medium rare was perfect!

Excellent dinner at Cabernet this week! This was my first time dining at this restaurant in a few years, and it's still as good as I remember. Sitting inside you feel like you're in a great steakhouse and the meal lives up to it. Our party of 4 each ordered steak. I went with a 12 oz filet, medium rare, with brandy peppercorn sauce. Outstanding! The steak was cooked perfectly. Sides of creamed spinach, twice baked potatoes, and mashed potatoes, made for a memorable meal. We had to of course, order a nice bottle of Cabernet, and Brandlin from Napa Valley was perfect. If you're in Alpharetta and looking for a great dinner, I highly recommend Cabernet!

Drew was our waiter and he truly made us feel like we were his only table. He had water and iced tea refills as soon as and even before our glasses were empty. Note that the salsas had a kick to them. - Blue Fin Tuna Crudo ($28): Nothing to write home about. The chili was spicy. - French Onion Soup ($15): Just as good as we remembered it from last time. - Tasting for Two ($209): The filet and spinalis were delicious. The first time we went to Bask, the wagyu was exceptional. This time, it was the fattier part of the cut and sadly didn't live up to the hype. Disappointed. - Scallops ($50): Absolutely delicious. The arroz verde cremosa was soo good. Decent portion too. - Seafood Mac & Cheese ($20): Came with lobster and shrimp. Suuuuper good, cheesy, and creamy. - Broiled Asparagus ($15): Seriously amazing. The best asparagus I've ever had. We were celebrating an anniversary and they let us choose a dessert on the house. We got the Cinnamon Roll Bread Pudding (normally $14). Sadly, it was just meh. We got the Colossal Cosmonaut Cookie last time, which was out of this world. Definitely get the cookie and skip the bread pudding.

We were surprised with a birthday card signed by staff and fresh flowers, which was such a thoughtful touch. It was our first time dining at Oak, and our server, Zuri, was fantastic. He took the time to explain the different cuts of steak and recommend some of the most popular sides, which we really appreciated. We started with the bread service. I loved the touch of salt on top of the roll--it was actually my favorite part. For our appetizer, we ordered the calamari, which came with artichokes, cherry peppers, garlic butter, and sweet chili sauce. As someone who loves artichokes, I especially enjoyed those bites, and the overall flavor was good. That said, the sweet chili became a bit overwhelming toward the end of the dish. One additional detail I loved about the calamari was the cheesecloth wrapped around the lemon. It was such a thoughtful touch, and it's the kind of small detail that really elevates the dining experience. For our entrée, we shared the 12 oz. Filet Mignon cooked medium, along with the mac and cheese and the Brussels sprouts and cauliflower (without the red onion, cilantro, or sweet chili). The chef kindly sliced the steak for us, but it arrived a little too rare for my preference. The staff quickly corrected it, and to make up for it, they also brought us a side of cream corn, which was absolutely delicious. Overall, everything tasted great. For dessert, we were treated to a complimentary panna cotta, which was a lovely surprise. We also ordered the S'mores Baked Alaska--a brownie topped with graham cracker and ice cream, covered in meringue, then set ablaze with bourbon. The presentation was amazing and definitely a highlight of the evening. The flavor was good, although it was a bit difficult to cut into, which made it slightly less enjoyable for me. My boyfriend, however, loved it. The ambiance was wonderful. The booth seating felt intimate and comfortable, and I enjoyed the open-kitchen concept. Overall, I had a very pleasant experience. The staff was incredibly kind, the food was delicious, and the thoughtful birthday touches made the evening memorable. I will definitely be back!

The sides were just as strong. The beef tallow frites were crisp, the creamed corn was rich and comforting, and the mushrooms were fantastic. The mac and cheese was good, but if we had to choose between the sides we ordered, it's the one we could have skipped. We shared a bottle of Charles Krug that was recommended by our server and paired well with the meal. The ambiance added to the experience. The dining room is dimly lit, with warm stained wood throughout and an open‑kitchen layout. Even with some of the tables set fairly close together, it never felt cramped or intrusive. Our server, David, made the night even better. He was attentive without hovering and offered thoughtful recommendations that ended up being spot‑on. We finished with the maple bourbon crème brûlée and an espresso martini, both of which were excellent. Truly enjoyed the entire experience and would happily return.

I enjoyed not only the meats and cheeses selected, but the house bread, pickled vegetables and persimmon, and mustard and cranberry chutney made lovely parings. I'd come in for a drink after earlier day shifts, and grab a small bite on occasion. Back then, it wasn't ever busy but it has taken a positive turn for its reputation in the Avalon area. My husband and I ate here recently for brunch, I had no idea what to expect as I'd never had brunch here before. Sat immediately, and served promptly by the nice gentleman. We got to chatting and found he had just started, working mostly just for the holidays. I ordered the Shrimp and Grits, and they were incredible--even without the sausage! Not a big pork eater, here. The flavors were authentic Cajun, and do recommend it if you're ever here for Brunch. My other half ordered the breakfast burger--warning this thing is HUGE but according to him an incredible foodie adventure to conquer. Atmosphere is a bit dark and drab, but not a deterrence from coming back to try again. One last note to wrap it up, service needs to be sure to recognize Happy Holidays versus immediately resorting to Merry Christmas--very adamant from our server when I said Happy Holidays upon leaving. It's just a courtesy to those like myself who do not celebrate the mainstream holiday. Interestingly enough, our waitress ignored our empty glasses and I had to ask a manager to bring my next drink from the bar as waitress never came back or brought it. 2 other managers came to "see how things were" as a task crossed off a list. We mentioned to one the steak issues and he asked "so what should I do? Go fire the chef?" And he laughed. But it was not funny and it was not a joke. It was his way of dismissing us and our concerns. He dismissed our experiences while refusing to acknowledge their failures. The dismal service and lack of service recovery was intentional and deliberate. It was disrespectful and off putting. The message sent and lack of corrective action was not subtle. My "ribeye" was the only meat that was cooked as ordered. However, I've never seen a ribeye that looked like this. When a colleague called to tell them about the poor experience, the manager said his conscience bothered him that night.
