Beach/ocean/surf culture. The vibe is a thousand percent beach hut/surf shop, even with no actual beach in sight. How charming is that? Somehow browsing surfboards, even when you don't surf, assuages that unfulfilled dream, or fuels your standing wanderlust. They had several but they all had multiple allergens and were stored together. There was an almond cookie, walnut brownie and a sesame pastry all stored within the same container. As someone with allergies that cannot have cross contamination having all of the options in the same case was upsetting. I cannot have sesame and someone else I was with has a nut allergy while also being gluten free. The atmosphere was quiet. There were several regulars asking where people were traveling from and a nice back patio to enjoy the coffee. It was a beautiful town to walk around but for the future I will check out another one of the available coffee shops on the same block.
