Wow! I knew something was up when the line is out the door. This was our first time trying this place out on a recommendation from a complete stranger while we got haircuts. The line moved quickly but the service was hands down AWESOME! Everyone focuses on you as if you're the only one in the place. I came here around lunch time so they did have a line but they had a ton of employees so I had my order completed in 5 min or less. I came to this place at the busiest time of the day. It was lunchtime. If you've never been to a Cabo Bob's, you should go. This location should probably select someone else to run the register when it's busy. It was super chaotic while we were checking out and she was very disorganized and all over the place. Thank goodness I'm not anxious because it would have been through the roof. They only had one person checking out customers. The place is clean as are the restrooms. Great for kids and groups. We love Cabo Bob and are so excited that they opened one up North! This location is great, very spacious and clean. We have only gotten take out this whole time during COVID. The fish is my husbands favorite, my parents also love it too. The fried fish makes it very different from the other burrito/taco joints in town. The best thing is their tortillas here, it is fresh dough that is pressed per order. They have a variety of tortillas not just your typical flour one. My favorite is the cilantro tomatillo one (green one)! So Yummy! They also have squash/zucchini mixture too which is different from other places. The queso and guacamole is really good as well. The chips are what make it though, it's so crispy compared to every where else. It's hands down our favorite here! Our latest experience here was kind of a bummer, the chicken quesadilla had the chicken on the side and not on the inside. Oh well, we will try it again next time. read more

I've had Cabo Bob's near the campus location and it was good. Finally had a chance to take my boyfriend try this place out. He was surprised by the quality of the food for sure, the flavors of tortillas were amazing, both of us liked the chili flavored tortilla. He had fish tacos and I had pulled pork ones, so mine were a bit too wet. But the tacos were so flavorful, even if the way we had our lunch seemed to be too messy but we both enjoyed tacos. Freebirds and Chipotle who?! Lemme tell you, Cabo Bob's is better. I love the many fish taco and burrito options they provide. I love the fresh pressed tortillas and the different flavor options (smoked cheddar is my fave). The mango pico is a fun surprise and pairs great with the fish. Cabo Bob's is the place you can always depend on for a good, filling, quality, cheap meal. It takes the make your own burrito concept and turns the dial up to 11. Custom tortilla flavors, flavorful meats, ample sauces and veggies. You name it, they got it, so everyone will be happy. I always go for the fish taco/burrito because there's not many other places in town that will do that. My tortilla of choice is the smoky cheddar because I feel it has the most flavor, though the runner up is the cilantro tomatillo only because it's green...and makes me think I'm healthy as a result. I absolutely love this place it's everything chipotle wants to be and tops FreeBirds in freshness and flavor . All the flour tortillas for the tacos and burritos are pressed fresh from dough and never pre made from a distributor. The difference of having a fresh made tortilla for a giant burrito and taco makes a world of difference in taste . There is no refrigerated or freezer flavor and you can get several different flavors of tortillas like other competitors. The tostada chips for the queso and nachos are also freshly fried up daily . Moving on past just tortillas they make great proteins I love the brisket specifically in tacos with some sautéd poblanos and white shredded cheese . If not that the Delux fish tacos are also my go too dish the only thing I make different is I sub the flour for corn tortillas . It's the rite amount of texture and savory goodness in one bite . Creamy chipotle sauce with a squeeze of lime on crispy fish topped with cabbage ,cucumber mango salsa and avocado always seems to hit the spot . If your not feeling like having meats of any kind you can always get what I get and try a quesadilla with a tortilla of your choice stuffed with gooey cheese ,poblano ,onion or whatever veggies float your boat and a side of the awesome salsas they provide . Nachos with queso and a protein of you choice on the other hand also hit the spot if you are in the mood for something crunchy other than a salad haha . I also always get a small chips and queso with all my meals no matter what because the queso is so addictive and tastes homemade. I love dipping my chicken or steak burritos in it , lets be real i would dip spring rolls the queso if they sold them . Cabo Bobs never disappoints I always leave with a full stomach and a smile . Something that sets them apart other than the food is that they have this amazing mint ice tea if your into mint it's the way to go , its so refreshing after all that delicious food . The mint ice tea is also great at settling your stomach and cooling you off in this hot weather and after a spicy meal . I never get ice either because the drinks are so cold from the machine it's great and gets you a little more to sip on just a little tip . Altogether it's a place I love to show family and friends when we want something casual and are sick of all the fancy stuff. It's a good bang for your buck and what's nice is that you can get a punch card , after six burritos or meals you get one free or a T-shirt . So basically in one or two orders you can fill up a punch card and get something on the house . Plus if your card gets full after you and you bought more than one dish you can start a whole new punch card and get those points . Last but not least the staff is always very pleasant and happy to customize any order for you with smile . They genuinely like to help and are polite . The beef tortilla is the best and just the right amount to fill you up, the price is not bad and don't forget the delicious queso and chips.

My co workers and family used to eat here multiple times a week for lunch and dinner but lately the food and service is horrible. My wife found little pebbles in the beans while she was chewing and spoke with the manager privately, he offered to make her a new one but did absolutely nothing about the beans. Today was the last straw when I ordered a fish bowl online and they completely forgot the fish. I called and spoke with I believed she said manager ariana, she said she would void that transaction but I still gotten charged. Cabo Bob's is the best fast food burrito shop in town. Don't talk to me about Freebirds or Chipotle. I always leave happy and full after eating here. If you want the most value, then you have to snag a burrito bowl and ask for 1 of each flavored tortillas on the side! They make the tortillas in-house, then they press and cook them right in front of you. The cheddar tortilla is my favorite, but the ancho chili and cilantro ones are great, too. I'm personally not a fan of the brisket, but their steak slaps. If you're into beans... they have 3 different kinds. The reason this place is so delicious is their toppings. It's not Mexican food without cilantro, lime, and onion, but then I have to throw on the mango pico for that sweet heat. They always oblige me when I ask for extra raw jalapeños and fresh squeezed lime juice. Instead of regular sour cream, ask for the chipotle crema! This place has been open up North in our area for a while. Never thought of trying it even though I am always ordering food at jimmy johns next door. Finally gave this place a try. I was surprisingly amazed how fresh and good the food actually is. It seems like a hybrid between chipotle and torchys tacos. They offer all customizable food. You can build your tacos, bowls or anything you want. Biggest advantage for me at this place Vs chipotle is they offer FISH. This is a huge deal for me. This place is kind of like chipotle in that you can choose a couple different options and then you walk down the line and tell them what you do and don't want. They also have some items that you can tell them what you want from the menu and they already know what to put inside the burrito or tacos etc. Very friendly staff, my wife really liked her burrito and my son enjoyed his meal, I was not really all that impressed with the fish tacos but when we come back I will try something else and I'm sure it's going to be good. Brand new location. First time trying the food. I posted menu pics. Arrived at 6:30pm on a Thursday, in line for about 15 to 20 minutes. I could tell that they are still figuring out the flow and how to work efficiently and effectively. They were busy, The line stayed long the entire time I was there. I ordered the salad bowl with chicken and a few other toppings and the chipotle dressing. Small portions but It was tasty. I will definitely be back to try the burritos (they are huge!) And the tacos! The cashier seemed flustered. She did not offer me the punch card, I had to ask about it. Anywho, they are new and I'm sure they will figure it out. Big shoutout to the worker, ANGELA!! I went in at prime time last night (10/8 at 7:15pm) so the line was wrapped around the room and multiple people waiting for Togo orders. Pure chaos as everyone was wanting their delicious Cabo bobs! You could see the frustration on lots of the workers but not on Angela's face! She was calm and greeted everyone that came in the Togo door (looked to be her department). Sadly, I saw two male workers make rude remarks and glances to Angela as she was just doing her job. However, today was my breaking point. 90% of the time my takeout order is incorrect and missing something, and 100% of the time it is not ready on time. Like 10-20 minutes late. Every. Time. When you eat in the store, the staff is rude and acts like you're a burden for modifying your order or not hearing them over the loud patrons. Cabo Bob's has the best burritos overall and this is their best location. It's also their smallest location, but the crowds at the Shoal Creek and West Campus locations haven't found this one yet -- fortunately. Like all the Cabo Bob's, the food is better than any other burrito chain. This one seems to take a bit more time to perfect the food though. Tonight's queso was especially good -- and a bit thicker than other locations. As with any of their locations, the burrito (or bowl or tacos, etc) are highly customizable and all the ingredients are fresh and high quality. Like their locations, the service is quick. The service here seems even friendlier, perhaps due to the lower volume. We ordered chips and queso with our dinner tonight and there was a delay on getting it. Before we'd even finished getting our table organized, the queso arrived. This location is a bit further for us than the Shoal Creek location, but it's now my go to location. read more

Best fish tacos! I'm obsessed! You can order online but I go in person to order my fish tacos inside as I like to customize. It's $8 for 3 tacos. I get one of each fresh dough flour tortilla varieties (ancho chili, smokey cheddar & cilantro tomatillo) with typically cabbage, lettuce, mango pico (the bomb!), cilantro, onion, jalapeño & cheese, with chipotle crema sauce on the side. They're a good size, and you can definitely load them up with lots of toppings but may be hard to eat if too much, but 3 tacos for sure fill me up! Be sure to ask for the punch card when you pay. It's buy 6, get 1 free. I go often so it's a great deal! Don't recommend the corn tortilla as not made fresh like the flour ones pressed and made fresh on the spot. I had actually never been to Cabo Bob's before and decided to try it out for the first time yesterday. I was pleasantly surprised to say the least. The food was fresh and delicious and didn't break the bank. I got the taco plate with 3 tacos....they actually let you get 3 different tortillas and 3 different proteins on the same plate! Then you can add whatever toppings you want. It was perfect. To top it off, my son lost his water bottle there and one of the employees (Zach) made it a point to look for it after closing and found it outside in the grass.
