A great hole in the wall in the middle of a suburban town such as Glendora. There are a lot of good things to say about this place: One - it is near me. Two - everything on the menu is affordable and every bite was worth it. Three - service was really accommodating. The decor inside isn't as nice as the food, but when the food tastes so good, you tend to ignore everything around you. I've had tacos, quesadillas, and burritos so far. They are equally just as good, if not better when compared to each other. The meats they use like carne asada and fish just make their tacos, quesadillas, and burritos feel like a $20 product than what it costs there. There are also specials that you should look out for like Taco Tuesdays (meat), Wednesdays (fish), and Thursdays (meat). Prices are $1.50 per taco and they do not skip on any ingredient. They look out for each customer, giving more than an adequate amount of meat to fill your stomach. Come check it out if you haven't already. It is different than other Mexican restaurants in how they cook their meat, how they make their food, and the flavors they use. You will not regret spending your money at Cabo Tacos. read more

I was driving along the street through Glendora craving something like a burger or any Mom and Pop home made food. I recognized this place from when I'd driven by before. Yum! Ordered the two grilled fish taco plate to take home for lunch. I'll go back to get that or try other items on the menu. The tacos were so flavorful (and healthy) with a mixture of fresh ingredients, slightly spicy, very good! Beans and rice were good, and I loved the extra yellow pepper they asked me if I wanted. I'll go back to try other fresh fish items on the menu. I didn't see a take home menu though. I'll check out the selections on-line. Love this new find, but the diet coke that came with my fish taco plate tasted weird. Wouldn't have even ordered a drink except it was included. But I'll go back very soon and try some of their other fish dishes on the menu. I love to support those Mom and Pop places who do home cooking at a small establishment and offer so much more taste and selection than the corporate drive through venues. read more

This place is BOMB! (Lol, sorry for the out-of-date reference but it's AWESOME!) We've been coming here for the past four years since we moved to Glendora and it quickly becomes everyone's favorite place to eat when they visit us. The fish tacos, the al pastor, the fish burrito, the CEVICHE!!! This place is a must try for anyone who passes by. Warning: if you have sensitive taste buds, ask for the hot sauce on the side. you're looking at this place because you are waiting in line at donut man. i went into this place not expecting much but it was delicious!!! i liked their cabo (which is fish and shrimp) burrito and my wife liked cabo taco. donut man can be dessert after cabo taco. forgot to take pictures but cabo burrito has fish, shrimp, lettuce, tomato, rice, and bean A++++ from me. im sure some people are going to say you can get better taco/burrito somewhere else but you are in this neighborhood so why talk about a place that is not in this area. hats off to you cabo taco!!! read more

This is a good little place to remind you of Baja, the ceviche is delicious, and the fish tacos are really good! I think the only thing I didn't like is the refills on drinks, full price is too much. Finally stopped by after seeing this on our way home . Drove 30 min just to come here and it is definitely worth the drive. The food is delicious and the prices are great ! I definitely recommend you come and try this place The owner is super friendly and was kind enough to give us a sample of the aguachiles they were delicious! I was driving home with a friend and we were passing thru Glendora and we're starving and in the mood for tacos. We typed tacos into yelp and this was the first thing that came up so we figured why not give it a try. When we walked in we were immediately greeted and told the special of the day which was 99cent fish tacos. We ended up going with the carnitas and chicken tacos and got an order of shrimp ceviche to share. The carnitas tacos were ok but the tortilla was really grainy and came apart very easily. The chicken was a lot better and the chicken itself deserves 5 stars. It had a great flavour and fell apart in my mouth. The ceviche was disappointing it had a very bitter after taste and the cilantro in it seemed a little old. The restaurant itself has a beach theme to it but it smelled kind of like an old pool or chlorine I couldn't put my finger on it. All in all it was ok but it wouldn't be my go to if I wanted a good taco. read more

Parking stinks! I feel like Evil Knievel getting in, and to get out you have to be Houdini. But oh the rewards of being inside this tiny little taco hut. I had 3 tacos: carne asada (3/5), somewhat flavorless, even witth chopped chilies on top. Fish (4/5), very nice, puts Wahoo TO SHAME. And the champ, barbacoa (5/5). I don't recall the price, but it was not expensive and I was very happy. They ran out of horchata, the bathroom was out of service, and maybe other stuff, but I didn't care. The rice is bland. The beans is bland. The fish tacos, they could of been bigger. Everything could of been bigger. The salsa bar, well they have the yellow peppers, lime, however no salsa? Que? No salsa at the salsa bar. The salsa is automatically added to your taco. The parking is horrible. They have a private lot in the rear with some back unit that people live & occupy. It's a small lot with a handful of parking. If you drive a big vehicle like a van or truck, you are better off parking somewhere else. read more

This literally is THE BEST fish taco place ! When I saw the sign saying that they closed, it felt like a serious lost. I didn't have the closure I needed and I turned to other places for my fix, none if which compared. When I saw they were opening again, I think I was so excited I might have put it on the Facebook and snapchatted their construction progress to friends and family. Now its been three days after their Grand Opening and I've been back four times. I use to only get the fish tacos. But decided to also try the fish ceviche tostada. OMG!! THE best ceviche ever. So fresh !!!! So I'll probably be back! THEY HAVE COKE A COLA PRODUCTS!!!!! The grand opening wait was about 45 minutes so worth it there was a long line of committed customers. I really enjoyed the fish and shrimp tacos. The tacos are a bit on the small size, however. The beans and rice were so-so. I added an extra grilled fish taco and chips after my initial order. If you're hungry, you'll probably need at least 3, as I did. The hot sauce that came with the tacos had a nice spicy kick. All were washed down with hibiscus tea. They have a TV inside and will supply a WiFi passwupon request. The guy running the cashier was very friendly and made sure to let me know about the free refills on all drinks. read more

I go here almost every Wednesday to get my $1 fish tacos. I also buy more to take to my coworkers. They fish portion is not small at all. It's really good when fresh and hot but when it's cold the tortilla hardens up. They have condiments such as lime, carrots and chili pepper. Ask for salsa if you need more heat. It's so busy wednesday that I don't think they have time to clean tables and chairs. The chairs are sticky at the top. It's gross because you're eating with your hands and you just the touched the chair to move it so you can sit down. So bring wipes for your hands....I'm scared to even venture in their restroom. Parking is small. They have parking in the back but if it's full, you need to do a 19 point turn just to get out. This old lady was stuck and put her hands to her face to give up but after 15 min, she was able to get out. I usually park in the parking space next to it or on the street on Elwood. It's just a 1 min walk or less. read more
