We stopped in last night on way up north. Have always wondered what it was like inside on the odd corner in saukville. Pictures online were promising, previous reviews seemed encouraging for the service. We arrived around 530..sat at bar to order drinks then we got a table. Overall efforts of the staff was valiant felt like we were in a slow motion episode of bar rescue. Everyone was happy, very pleasent just seemed very overwhelmed. Food service was slow..whole team is not in sync..flow was off. Our waitress was fantastic really running to cover all aspects of service..as attentive as she could be for circumstances. Our drinks were amazing but as far as food..we would come back in a few months once kinks get ironed out. We had wedge salad appetizer was served but not as described in menu, no char..was old salad head,tiziki sauce was bland, crash burger which had way too much garlic aioli but great sandwich. Baked cod dinner with chips, fish was tough..waaay too much seasoning,homemade chips were not good no seasoning overcooked. Kids shrimp dinner was interesting not sure if breaded in house or prepacked but no flavor. Chips overcooked no seasoning either. Wish the owners and staff the best in future hope it gets better because investment inside and outside is very appealing. If anything I'd just stop for drinks. Beer selection is great, seasonal tap was delicious, in house tap olgas brew was delicious as well. read more

Stopped in on Thursday 1/23. Wow, I had the Crash Burger. Outstanding! Food and service were great. Definitely will be going back.

I went to Cadville when they first opened and at that time the food was excellent, but the service was sub par. Worst, was the smell of the kitchen. Food: Was excellent at day one. Since then, I have seen a multitude of staff changes and the quality of the food has steadily declined. I would not call their kitchen staff Chefs at all. Most recent visit. Crash burger with fries and onion rings. Burger: the meat was over seasoned and very dry. It was apparent this was not fresh beef. Possibly precooked/frozen and thrown on the grill to make it seem fresh. The toppings were old. Wilted lettuce and dry days old tomato. The cheese, even melted, didn't have flavor and moisture/oils as if it was frozen as well. Not fresh. Onion Rings: obviously precooked and heated in an oven. Not fresh. Fries: Dry and not freshly made. Tasted old and heated in an oven. When we first sat down, the owner was raving about the specials. In his own words, the appetizer and the main entre were made from the previous days leftovers that they repurposed. I under stand owning a restaurant is difficult, but if I want leftovers, I'll go to my in-laws for lunch. As far as food, the quality is not there. It has severely declined since day one and I do not recommend eating here. Not fresh quality "food." Regarding the smell: When they first opened, it was awful. The grease smell and saturation on your clothing was horrendous. The owner claims this was corrected. Most recent visit today. There were few people there and the smell was just fine. One couple sat down and ordered before my wife and I did. the instant the kitchen started cooking, the whole place smelled of grease and old cooking oil. I understand the smell of a grill to get people hungry and order food for marketing, but grease and old cooking oil are not those smells. Additionally, having to place our coats outside to air out when we get home and completely change because we smell worse than a week old fast food joint is not correcting the problem. Service: First and foremost, I can mainly speak of service at the bar for drinks and food (not at a table). When Cadiville first opened, the Bartenders were very charismatic and approachable, but slow to get a beverage or take an order. I dealt with that as I appreciated the charisma. Since then, the bartenders have changed and are now quick with a drink, but flirtatious and shady like a dive bar. Not the scene I want to see in small town Saukville for a restaurant. If I want that scene, I'll go to a bar/tavern. Pant's cut to low for a restaurant, flirtatious with bar patrons to gain tips and float cash is not what a restaurant needs, it's what a bar needs. The service here is very unprossional for restaurant standars and more like a dive bar atmosphere. I am not a person to make rash one time judgements and have been to Cadiville many times to support local businesses. As I have given all my opportunities, this establishment continues to decline in quality and continues to disappoint more with each visit. I will not be returning and that is sad as a resident of Saukville who wishes our local business to thrive. read more

Very disappointed in the food. I had a expensive piece of salmon which had a sauce that was very salty. My partner had the special which was chicken tenders which were very dry and served with a handful of fries. Nothing special about it. Our server was attentive. Do not plan on returning. read more

I have been here twice so far. The location is a bit weird at the East end of the triangle park right next to the traffic light, but we've never had any issues with parking or access. The owners have obviously put a ton of effort and money into the place, and it really does look nice inside. While they get an "A" for the décor and ambiance, there are a few teething issues I think they need to work out with the food and service, and one building issue noted below. The bottom line is that I was hoping to have a better experience out of the gate, but alas it was only "okay" thus far. I will go back again and will update my review in the future. I do have hope for this place as the Saukville area lacks choices for good restaurants. Here is the review: The menu is not large, but it does have enough options to choose from so that really isn't an issue, and the menu options are a notch higher than the typical bar fare. The main items we've tried so far are the Shrimp, Grits and Bacon and their burgers. If you've never had real shrimp and grits in the South, you'd probably never know how far off the mark here they are, but then again, I've never really had good shrimp and grits in the North. The bottom line is the grits were not the creamy, rich grits you should expect, the shrimp were terribly overcooked (and small), and the dish was almost completely devoid of any sauce, which even more highlighted the overcooked shrimp and made the clumpy & pasty grits very one-note in flavor. I had just had good shrimp and grits in the South less than a week prior, so I had a very good reference point. The burgers were better; good, but nothing remarkable. The choice of the Sheboygan roll for the bun is not my first choice, but that is really just preference. They are toasted, but I think the roll started out a bit dry before the toasting, because the bottom was just crumbling away while you tried to eat the sandwich. The homemade chips were okay but really needed salt as they tasted completely devoid of seasoning. The service was okay - the first trip we only had drinks, so that was fine. The second trip for food the server would have been helped by having a more friendly attitude. She wasn't unfriendly, but a smile can go a long way in delivering good service. I could tell the server just hasn't worked in restaurant service that much. For example, when I asked for recommendation on the menu, she really didn't have any suggestions, and when I asked about different dishes, I received a somewhat flippant response of "I don't know; I haven't tried any of those..." Another example is when I ordered the Ziki Wedge salad. She came back to the table a few minutes later and told us "we're out of the wedge, so you'll need to order something else." A simple addition of "would you like to try a soup instead?" or even a simple "I apologize, but we've just run out of the wedge; can I get you something else instead?" Other examples included that I had to ask her two or three times for some water as she kept forgetting to bring it to the table, and finally when we were done with our meal she never asked us if we wanted anything else - she simply handed us the bill on their receipt board and walked away. She could have tried to upsell us another round of drinks or dessert. One last issue that occurred - when we left there, our clothes had a terrible "fryer" smell. It was so bad that my wife actually had to wash both of our coats. That didn't occur the first time, so perhaps it was an isolated incident. The fryers/grills and overhead exhaust fans all look nice and new, so I am not sure what the issue there was. They are in the main bar area, so who knows if that contributed to the issue, but I encourage them to look at that issue. I will absolutely go back and try it again, but if that issue persists, that will definitely keep us from coming back in the future. All-in-all, not bad, but they do need to up their game a bit on a few issues. If they do, they could really capture market share in a community desperately in need of dining options! read more

Friday night was my first visit to Cadiville. The interior of the building is beautiful! The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Our server incredibly attentive. This alone would have made the experience top notch but then the food came out. I had the fish, which was seriously the best fish I had ever eaten! That's saying a lot because I am pescatarian and just about the pickiest eater on the planet. They even graciously substituted the green beans because I hate green beans!! My husband had ribeye. He kept commenting on how flavorful it was. So I am inspired to encourage others to patronize this really lovely establishment and don't be surprised when you find yourself absolutely loving it. read more

This place is amazing! Me and my family went for brunch and had a great experience. I ordered the breakfast bowl and I'm not exaggerating when I say it was the best tasting meal I've had in a very long time. I'm not sure how they did it but was absolutely delicious. My wife and I stopped for a cocktail on Friday and had a great experience. Good bourbon selection and Elliot was our bartender and was very attentive. In fairness, the bar was not packed so he had time. He told us of the Sunday brunch so we went back and brought 3 others. They have some more "upscale" options for a bar. Brunch is an order from menu not Buffet. They made a mistake on my mother in law's eggs but they replaced them. It is a new place with some growing pains but they have a great future.
