I stopped in here after my friend suggested it while we were grabbing lunch before working on a few things for her business, and it ended up being a really cute spot. We sat at the bar, and the bartender was super friendly. The space has a cozy feel, and they also have a little patio in the back if you want to sit outside when the weather is nice. Their specials were great too, and I loved that you can buy a bottle of wine to go. Even better, they keep the white wines cold, which is such a thoughtful touch. We both tried the salad special. I added chicken to mine, and my friend added salmon. I probably should have gone with the salmon because hers was cooked really nicely, while my chicken was a little on the dry side. That said, the salad itself was fresh, and the fruit on it tasted really good. They also had a nice beer selection with solid options on tap, so it seems like a good place whether you're stopping in for lunch, a drink, or something casual after work. Stopped in for a work lunch per my coworkers recommendation. We both got the Kimberly burger...this thing was STACKED! Also ordered a bowl of clam chowder which was totally unnecessary because I couldn't even finish the burger without it. I would definitely get it again though. We both opted to upgrade to their Cajun fries(love that they have that as a choice! Stopped in on the way back to Milwaukee. The food here is excellent and I would have to say their truffle fries were for sure the highlight. The service was good at first but did seem to get slower response time as the meal progressed. Overall the atmosphere and ambiance was very casual and laid back which is exactly what we were wanting. Went to this restaurant after a family reunion on a Saturday night. The service was great we were seated right away in nice outdoor seating. We started with an appetizer of cheese curds which were lightly breaded and crunchy. I had the bourbon chicken sandwich which was good. Crunchy sweet, and savory good flavor and a nice combination. My mother had the bratwurst burger which was sadly bland, even the sauerkraut was somehow bland and the bun was really soggy. My uncle had the wb burger. Woah! Tastebuds blown! We were attending an event down the road at The Bend Theater and wanted to grab a quick bite to eat and did a quick Yelp search for what was in the area. We decided to order a few appetizers to split and cocktails. The cocktails were good we both went with an apple inspired cocktail. Our server Jenny was great. Our server was great! The food, not so much. It was disappointing. We were there for Sunday lunch. The chicken sandwich with blueberry aioli looked like a large appetizer -- not a sandwich. It was tiny. And the sweet potato fries looked like warmed up leftovers from Saturday. They definitely were not freshly made. This, with an ice tea and tip, came to a total of $26! I had the Kimberly Burger which was quite tasty, and my aunt enjoyed the Chopped Chicken Salad. The portion sizes were decent. As for the burger, the pretzel bun was nice and soft, the bacon pieces were sizable, and I really liked the inclusion of the crispy jalapeno slices for a little extra flavor. The patio looked really inviting but it was a little warm so we stayed inside. Service was very friendly and accommodating. The ambiance was nice for a Sunday lunch though it wasn't busy at all, so noise wasn't a factor -- I imagine that might be more of an issue later in the day into the evening. We came here with our kids for a family meal on a Sunday night. Reading reviews ahead of time left us feeling like a good spot for the kids. Overall the kids menu was a good experience and the this was our first trip.... Mac and Cheese knocks Texas Roadhouse's "Kraft dinner" out of the park. This Mac n cheese has the make of homemade, or at least semi homemade....i Unfortunately for the adults at the table they had an extra busy weekend and ran out of the menu items we wanted...along with their fries....so I' assuming the fries were good, but we actually have no clue...sweet potato fries were average...but they didn't screw them up so they are ahead of many! The service was very friendly, just not top notch. I'm not entirely sure if our server was new, or just didn't connect dots well....but very kind and my girls were complimentary on how friendly she was....Friendly is awesome but cannot make up for everything.... Prices feel on top level of the food quality....but the food was good, but again missed our preferred entrees, so objectivity is probably eluding me to be fair.... I may still be grappling with what it costs to dine out in America, but $14-$18 burgers and wraps better have a "wow" factor in my book, or again, service has to be top tier, otherwise send me the robot cart or take me to the drive thru, at least I save $5 per item + tips. Overall not a great experience, but not extremely disappointed either.... the simple crux of the scenario is that the food wasn't good enough to last longer than the memory of the remainder of the experience....so we will likely be slow to return, but not into the DNR category either... Stopped for lunch at Dooley's in West Bend and greatly enjoyed it! The won-ton style mozzarella sticks were a unique and delicious twist, perfectly crispy with a gooey center. The fries were hot and fresh, and the burgers were the perfect size, juicy and flavorful. Great food, prompt friendly service (especially Yolanda) and a welcoming atmosphere. I was in town for the big WB geocaching event a couple of weeks ago and my local sister brought me here for dinner. Years ago I had eaten in this space when it had a different name. We were able to get a nice booth (it was too stinking hot to eat outside though they have a nice side patio). I started with one of their specialty mules that was very tasty. We had some excellent deep fried cheese curds to start - I have now sampled many in the last three years since relocating back to Wisconsin and these were some of the better ones. For my main I had their sloppy Joe sliders that were very tasty. Not many places serve SJs so I was glad to see them on the menu and they did not disappoint. We were in the West Bend area and decided to stop in, as they are always busy during the Farmers market, so it has to be good and our assumptions were correct. For a late lunch we ordered delicious cheese curds (there were a lot of them), also we ordered beef sliders on a pretzel bun and crispy fries with a soft inside, again not a disappointment. I had Jake Sherry as a server yet again. He was even better tonight than he was a couple nights ago. He was very attentive and made sure all my needs were met. One of the best serves I've ever had. He is a hardworking young man who, for lack of better terms, "busts ass" around the restaurant. He greeted us basically as soon as we sat down with waters and welcoming smile. This kid is something special. I am going to start recommending him every single time I am here. In addition to my praise for our server, our food was absolutely delicious.
