Ordered a large ashta ice cream cake a day before, and i walk in the store and there is a couple who are holding a very long conversation with the employee, so im still waitng, another lady comes from the back and i tell her i have an order to pick up, and told her im going to grab other pasteries addition to it, as im talking to her a bunch of people walk in , and come stand so close to me next to ther register, so i backed up, the place is cluttered with mini ice cream fridge right next to the pay station, the girl lifts the table to enter the customers side to grab the cake from the freezer, and took it back to register, leaves it there while the other girl is ringing up all the other customers, she doesnt even ask anything, as im behind like 7 others, trying to tell her to wright something on the cake, i was in there for a good 20 min, so i had to speak to her from the far, she gave m a piece of paper to wright the names, and still the ice cream cake is still on the counter lacking pistachios in some spots, then she goes in and comes back, wraps the cake in a paper bag and looks at me, i asked her if she can put it in a box , she looked at me like i asked for something out of the ordinary, with attitude she started making the box and placed the cake in there, this place is lacking customer service, i spend a lot of money, clearly these small business don't care for some customer service, i have to mention that the ashta ice cream used to be really good, it was worth the money, now it's very thin hardly has cake inside ( super thin and the ice cream had no taste like before, like it was diluted and very soft, (before , befor serving we would have to take it out to thaw, now its soft, the ashta and fillo dough pastry was old too, soggy and soft , and also when i asked her for a side pastry for the road, she handed to me in a wax paper, ( it's not a donut honey)the syrup was dripping by the time i got to my car, so if the owner or the manager reads this, not sure what happend because you used to be very goog befor and i wouldn't mind driving there, but no more quality in your items. clean up the clutter in the store, and take care of your customers, hiring young girls isn't going to benefit your business, full of attitude and no hospitality, lacking common sence. read more

Heard about this place from la.eater and wanted to check it out. They've got lots of dessert options from cakes to eclairs and of course baclava. The shop is located in the CVS plaza behind the McDonalds and the Starbucks. We got a decent size box of assorted baklava - they charge by the pound and at the end offered to sprinkle some more pistachios on it - awesome option. The whole box with 4 or 5 different types of baklava came out to just about a pound ($11) - a pretty good value. The baklava was really good - it had awesome texture and was not overly sweet. Overall, I'll definitely be back to try all the different baklava options. read more

Wow, this is such a great hole in the wall bakery! I've been eyeing this place since it opened up and finally got the chance to go! We came in for the baklava, and they have a great selection to choose from. Most of the baklava are weighed by the pound. We got a 1/2 pound of various baklava for $6. We really loved that these baklavas are incredibly flaky and aren't too wet. Some places we've gone to for baklava have either been too wet or too oily, but NOT this place! Any of the baklava with pistachios are very delicious, and there's one baklava that has a white topping, fragranced with rosewater which caught me swooning. I visited this family-owned bakery on Friday afternoon and purchased about $10 bucks worth of deliciousness including a olive-roasted pepper croissant together with some baklava.
