We had a great breakfast at the cafe. The food was good and sitting out on the front porch was very relaxing.

The waitress was on the spot with refills and the staff was busy but not harried. My salad was sub par. Spring greens and spinach plopped from a bag with a small smattering of peas and maybe one cut up piece of asparagus and some tiny chunks of a good goat cheese topped with too much crunchy quiñoa and a dressing that was overwhelmingly vinegary. The freshly brewed coffee was nothing special but did keep flowing nicely. The gift shop had so much to browse through. Prices from a couple dollars to $100+ and staff that is helpful but not in your face or pushy in any way I could've asked for a different dressing but again thr salad itself was only ok for the ~$13 price tag

We were looking for something new to try and found Coopers Uptown using Yelp. The inside has a cafe…read morecounter, an order counter, some seating, and a small shop with different items in it. I didn't look around much, we went out to sit on the patio. We ordered the lemonade and blueberry lavender lemonade. Both were really refreshing and I really liked the blueberry flavor in mine. We had the turkey club and the smash burger for our lunches. The turkey club was big, plenty of food for one person. The flavors melded together and when paired with a fruit cup it was amazing. The smash burger was well seasoned, cooked well, and picture perfect. Seriously, usually when you get these things you get sad, wilty lettuce and a small slice of tomato. Not here, the lettuce was vibrant and you could see and taste the tomato. The server we had was super attentive, the food was out surprisingly quickly, and the ambience was perfect for a Sunday afternoon lunch. The price was my favorite part, totally affordable for anyone. Two meals and two drinks less than $40 is a win for me. All in, a solid stop and we will be back. The only reason I didn't give them a fifth star is because even though they have a great selection of items, I didn't see a ton that I personally wanted. They didn't do anything wrong at all.

I had a Caesar salad, my wife has the French onion soup and a grilled cheese and all items were solid. Also had the Chocolate chip cookies which were awesome. They have a ton of pastries that I look forward to trying down the line as well. Would definitely recommend.

I ordered the croque madame with the fried egg on top, and it was delicious. You can absolutely tell they use real butter--the true French way! My waistline might not thank them, but my tastebuds certainly did. I even brought home an almond croissant for the Hubby and snacked on a cheese and chive scone the next day, and everything was just fantastic. The only little hiccup is that the service can get a bit hectic. The staff seemed a little confused trying to match up the order numbers to the tables, and we almost got run over on our way out by a waiter sprinting to the patio! But even with the fast-paced environment, the food is wonderful whether you eat in or grab takeout. Definitely worth a visit! A much better experience here than MY 1st time. I think it's because they enlarged the dining area with more table space. It's still hard to have a conversation due to the high ceilings which echo the sound.
