Took my mom for a quick dinner here as I've tried their breakfast. Typical hk cafe vibes and menu. But service was top notch. Attentive and quick and with a smile. I ordered the baked pork chop rice with milk tea And it was very good. Hearty and big portions and sauce was spot on. Milk team silky smooth and creamy. Came Hot and steaming, just the way i like it. My son ordered the beef Ho fun ( forgot to take pic) - was the most disappointing dish ever. Flavours off. No wok hei. Wrong noodles and wrong sauce. Also tried the bfast combo....amazing they had beef brisket noodle option so had that. Eggs were just scrambled, not silky and wet. The spam/luncheon meat was good and the hasbrown was the frozen variety. Over all, i would repeat but staying away from Any stir friend noodle dishes from Now on. Cheers! Happy eating!

I came with a couple of coworkers on my first visit and it turned out to be ok for a newly opened place. Got seated right away, service was friendly. Got the Seafood Chow Mein, and found it quite sparse (maybe because I was quite hungry) but taste-wise, it's average, nothing out of the ordinary. They were able to do separate bills which is always the preferred when dining with coworkers. A month later, we came for our second visit, however, the service seemed to have gone awry. We had a group of six and got seated at the only table for six in the middle of the room right away. Then a few minutes later, another server asked us if we had reservations and we said no. She told us that this table for six is for *person's name* and she wanted us to move. We were like, ok, move us where? She left and came back a few minutes later and said it's ok. Fast forward to ordering--from the get go we asked for separate bills and the server said no problem. After taking our orders, the items starting to come. The drinks that came were all wrong which is fine, we just had to tell them what each of use ordered again. Then the soups that came with out food came, also wrong, so had to tell them what we ordered again. Then the food started to come one by one. I chose the Mix & Match (Mixed Grill) option of Pan fried Chicken Steak + Cutlet Fish Fillet, got the fries, black pepper sauce and cream soup. Hands down, the better value compared to the Seafood Chow Mein I had on my first visit. OR maybe I was just really hungry again. Would I order this again? Probably. Now that everyone finally got what they ordered... and more -- there was hair in one of the dishes. And no, it's not from my coworker's because she's blonde and the hair is black. So we informed one of the servers. She was quite apologetic and told us that she would comp the meal and asked if my coworker would like a new one. Since she's 2/3 in, she's pretty much done and don't want one. After we're done with our meal, we asked for the bill (a number of times). Somehow they just never got around to bringing the bill. And because we had to head back to work soon, we finally got up pay up front. When we got up there, we were told that the server had issues separating the bill. I don't know how it was entered but the items on the bill was all over the place. With the long line up behind and people trying to get a table, I just told them that I would just pay for the whole thing. In the end, we were over charged for the drinks we never ordered. But that's ok. Mistakes happen. New establishment and they're still working out the kinks. I just hope the next visit will be better. I'm hopeful.

The menu contains a variety of rice combo dishes that you can select (pork, chicken, beef, fois gras, curry) and a tempura noodle set as well. Occasionally, they also have specials as well. My boyfriend and I ordered the beef set and the tempura noodle set with pork. I love how there are a variety of side dishes that come with the set. This is great for those who like variety and want to have a complete meal with all the food groups. My favourite is definitely the pickled daikon/carrot and the cabbage salad! The food is not too salty and the broth was perfectly seasoned for my palate. My boyfriend also ordered an espresso romano which I had never tried before. The foam on top was surprisingly refreshing with a tart aftertaste of lime. The prices were also very fair with most sets averaging around $19-20 before tax. You order at the counter and pay after you're finished. This is a great place for a quick bite especially if you're in the Ironwood area of Richmond.

I grew up in Seattle- a short drive to the south- and was missing me some seafood! I ordered up a couple local brews (IPA's if anyone is asking) and checked out the menu! With a nice little tub of tartar sauce, and a nice little tub of ketchup for the fries- the way God intended! The fish was lightly breaded nicely fried and tasted absolutely fantastic! Especially with that great tartar sauce! Even the coleslaw tasted pretty epic! Now let me tell you this place was definitely a sports bar because tonight the USA was playing Belgium in the FIFA. World Cup and the place was lively as hell! So did I enjoy it? Heck yeah! I will be back and you should go and try it once too, and I'll bet you would agree. This place is where you want to be!

The teapots were, as is industry standard, a little flimsy, but with enough care they worked well and i had warm tea throughout the meal. The kind of facilities you'd come to expect walking in. The service was excellent, our server was cheerful and kind. While I didn't have silverware intitially, I was still in a yolking mood, it didn't bother me in the slightest, The tables were preset, so really, it isn't a fault of theirs. Our server was attentive and careful, and we felt welcome. It felt easy to come out of my shell. The food was incredible, and made my morning. I ended up finishing my friends' plates! We all got benedict, the avocado, shrimp, and duck. Having tried them all, i would most recommend the duck. It was incredibly tender and the sauce worked well with the holliandaise. The shrimp was delicious, the fish paste took well, though the shrimp were a bit chewy and difficult to cut. I had been craving an eggs benedict, so i came to the professionals.
