A variety of tofu and soy products as well as mango pudding and others

Absolutely stunning tofu pudding and soy milk with ginger syrup. I'm a big fan of anything and everything with ginger flavor. Sometimes they're so watered down, I couldn't even taste a hint of ginger. The ginger soy milk is packed with flavor; I couldn't stop drinking it. I even got a bottle to go! The tofu pudding is made fresh daily. We visited on a weekday afternoon and saw parts of the production process and can confirm they are made from scratch. Owner said they sell everything they make in a day to ensure everything stays fresh. They do such a great job with the calcium sulfate mixture, you cannot taste it in the pudding. I've had many where you can taste it, but they're also harder in texture. This one is silky and smooth. Yum! We are from California and were disappointed to learn that tofu won't last in our 15 hour drive home. That means everything needs to be in our tummy before border crossing.

We come here most of the time when we're in Richmond BC. Warm tofu pudding with soba and ginger syrup is something we grew up as children. They do this well here, including one with coconut milk and cold mango pudding. They have different varieties, but this is mainly what they serve. Although, they have other snacks. The place is one elongated space with a few tables and a long counter bar. It's a little divey in feel. Usually, there's only one or 2 persons working. They're very fast, efficient and no nonsense. This is not fine dining, but what they do, they do best.

We have been patronizing this place for ages. Tofu is the only thing sold here but in various forms and ways. Really good. You order your tofu - plain, 1 topping or more. Choose hot or cold. The person scoops it out and then serves it. You may also do a take out order. A long counter and table on the side for dine in. Pay when you are done.

Nostalgic local family own business, simple and delicious tofu dessert. Huge portion in a bowl. Love that they have sugar liquid options on the side so you can add as much and little as you want. They open late as well Service is good.

If you love tofu, you'll love it here. It's all tofu and good tofu. It gets busy. Old school HK style and authentic.

If you like dou fu fa, come here! I grew up eating the hot version with just ginger syrup every Sunday with my grandma during dim sum :) Such a nostalgic feeling eating a bowl. They also have cold versions with lots of toppings that I didn't know you could eat with tofu like savory versions with pickled vegetables and green beans. Cash or debit only as well but they take USD! Would come back

02.12.26 @6:45pm Been looking for traditional sweet soup (tong-soi). When I found this on yelp and as I was in the area so went by to try. The tofu pudding was very silky and it'll go well with any topping of your choice.

we LOVE excellent tofu so much it's hard to explain. The place is open late, needs cash, and has no frills service with extremely fast turnaround. The choices of toppings are all hits no misses and highly recommend getting the tofu warm. So amazing and I'm back every time I'm in Vancouver area!

It is indeed excellent. We got the tofu with black sesame and taro and really where can you go wrong with that. The bowl was heaping and everything tasted so light and fresh. As we were eating so many people were going in and out buying soymilk and tofu to go. If we weren't going to be out for so much longer we totally would've too. Great afternoon snack.

Must try if you like tofu pudding! It's a hole in the wall shop run by an older couple who are constantly churning out fresh soy milk and tofu behind the counter. The soy milk itself was a little more watery than I like, but still a nice treat to get it fresh made. Would be better if it was cooked down a little to thicken. The tofu pudding though is creamy and worth the visit by itself. They have squeeze bottles of ginger syrup so you can control the flavor and sweetness. We brought our custard tarts from Lido next door and ate them here with our tofu pudding and fresh soy milk. Highly recommend.

Fresh tofu pudding located in Richmond, bc. Parking: free limited space, you can park at aberdeen center parking garage and then walk across. We beat the rush. We got the table all the way inside. The seating is very limited. They only have few tables and seating at the counter. You can also see the menu on the qr code on the table. We ordered: Herbal jelly Soy milk + red bean Cold tofu + fresh taro Hot tofu + black sesame. They all come unsweetened. You can add brown sugar, liquid clear sugar, or ginger liquid brown sugar they provided on the table.

Super soft and silky tofu fa! I took my grandma who is visiting from Indonesia here since we ate it a lot growing up, and she loved it. The tofu taste was mild and the ginger syrup added a perfect sweetness and warmth. We had to get the 1L tofu fa to go after to share with everyone at home. We ordered the plain one this time but they have a variety of fun toppings that you can choose to add. They also sell soymilk drinks, puddings and non-soy snacks! A perfect spot to get your quick fix of tofu pudding or to stay for a mid day snack ! Upon entering the store, you feel like you're transported to Asia, with the minimal decor, old-school seating area, and the smell of soybeans!

Hei Hei Rice Roll is legit good, totally recommend, even my daughter too, I thought of her ( since she LOVES rice roll and couldn't make it on this trip with me) while enjoying these roll but when I shared with her the photos and mention that we will go back here with her- she already visited. She said it was so good! Hei Hei Rice Roll is located at the Richmond Public Market, oh wow - this place is really popular, on the 2nd visit I was the first in line then the line wasn't so long but while waiting for our order, the line got super long. I was lucky I didn't wait long in line. Best to arrive early. I am not sure what the secret to the rice roll but Wow, it's so thin, silky, smooth texture with the toppings, so great together. The last 2 times we had rice roll with my daughter at Portland and Seattle- followed per Instagram reels- those did not even compare to these rolls. My first visit I got the combo which is the best deals, starts at $15.50 but depends on what you select for the selection for rice rolls and congee. I got the pork & preserved egg congee, shrimp, mushroom, pork rice roll. The 2nd visit I got the combo again, with liver & preserved egg congee, scallop and shrimp rice rolls, but I got my order wrong for the roll- they missed the shrimp. fyi-I found out that bean sprout, corn, toppings are free! Both combo came out to $17. super cheap! Cash only, they take USD but its the same dollar $ value. I wish they take credit cards, hehe. & the Verdict: Yummy, the congee hits the spot for comfort food, loved how it is cooked and they add peanuts too. Love the packet of sauce for the rice rolls, the umami-ness, so good. Best to eat it hot and fresh! Don't forget to ask for chili sauce, to add that extra spicy kick! For now, I am not sure I'll ever find a spot that is closest to Hei Hei for my congee and rice roll fix until I get to visit Richmond, BC again.

What we ordered: Limited Gigantic snow crab 3lb with salted egg yolk sauce - highly recommended by staff Seafood fried rice Baked large beach oyster with four unique flavors. Highlight was definitely snow crab! Salted egg yolk sauce was great as usual, crab meat was so tender and sweet! I am glad to follow staff's advice. Presentation was good, too. Rice cake was chewy, soft and paired with sauce so well and so addictive. Seafood fried rice was also great! Clam was so juicy and delicious! prawn was nicely firm and very good. Ingredients were outstanding. And Baked beach oyster was also great item. Oyster paired with each unique different flavor(Forgot to ask what kinds of each flavor..), Oyster itself was very large and creamy. Highly recommend this item, too. This is the place to come to have northern Chinese style seafood, especially fish. You choose from hotpot, soup, or steamed fish and get tons of fresh choices. You can choose for the hotpot the soup, weight of fish, veggies, spiciness level, and other adjustments. It is HUGE! We chose the nonspicy soup, with package of tofu skin, lotus root, seaweed knots. The fish is pretty good. Good flavour - though I have to admit I'm not one to try the spicy, but don't worry the soy no spicy flavour is still pretty flavourful. I got some rice to go with it and I definitely recommend something to go otherwise it's pretty soupy. The other dishes were reflective of a very high quality place. - cucumber salad was excellent. I loved the peanuts in there to contrast. - I LOVED the Morel mushroom and tofu. It was amazing. The morel... wow. So succulent. Brown sauce has great balance too. - I really liked the fried rice. It's spam I think and really hits the spot. Not salty, seems just light enough. The service was excellent too. Very friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommended.

What's appealing here is that their Instagram advertises daily specials so you can get some dishes for a great discount (like 40% off). We tried the braised combo (pork ear, pork intestines, fish cake), Taiwanese egg wrap, braised pork sauce rice with deep fried pork chop, and yam taro mochi balls. The braised combo is pretty solid - I didn't really like the funkiness to the intestines (I generally enjoyed it in barbecue settings) but the fish cake was fantastic. I also liked the texture of the pork ears. The Taiwanese egg wrap was a bit tasteless, so I wouldn't recommend. Braised pork sauce rice is the lu ruo fan which is a large portion with seaweed, bean sprouts, and soup on the side. Pork chop was flavorful and juicy but not crispy batter, which is okay. Yam taro mochi balls were sweet and chewy. I don't like taro but I loved this dessert! Service is okay. They give a water jug for self pour but the water jug was of questionable cleanliness. The specials were not discounted so we called it out and we weren't told that we had to put the order with a server, not the QR code, so it was a strange interaction. They ended up honoring the discount. Also, they shut down ordering 1 min before 10:30pm - guess they didn't want more money as we wanted to order 1 more dish and they preemptively told the kitchen to close. Sure it's fine no big deal, it was a lot of food.
